Freedom.

We looked back in terror, and discovered that we weren't the ones that the voice was referring to. I immediately breathed a loud sigh of relief, as I was grateful that we weren't caught.

"A close call." I sighed.

"Oh yes." She replied.

"So, what are we going to do inside this car?" I asked her.

I was just so confused about what her intentions were.

"I'm afraid that we would have to drive out..." She said, and I gasped in surprise.

"What? Can you drive?" I asked her in surprise.

I wasn't that good in riving, moreover the car that we were in was very sophisticated.

"Yes, I'll take the risk." She replied.

"What if we're caught on the way? Remember that we would have to pass through the security check, first." I reminded her.

She paused for a while, before coughing. I knew that we really needed to think of something, real fast.

"We need to move out of this place real fast, unless we might get get by the owner of this vehicle. As for the security check; when we get there, we'll figure out what to do..." She responded, and immediately ignited the car.

I looked at her in a puzzled manner, as I really wanted to know if she was still in her right mind.

I was more worried about being caught by those security personnels.

"Look!" I exclaimed in fear. "The entrance of this hall, is filled with security officers. How do you even think that we can bypass them?" I asked her in fear.

To be honest, it was very clear that it was going to be an impossible task for us to pass through that gate without getting caught.

"I have a plan. Let's wait for those fleet of cars that won't be searched by this officials, and follow suit. It would help us to escape their evil grip." She came up with that plan, and I just nodded in affirmation.

At this point, I was okay with whatever suggestion that she came up with, as long as it was help us out to get out of this place, safely.

"I just can't wait to leave the shores of this confinement." I responded to her with a tired face.

Soon, it was time for us to embark on the hard journey. I was just very terrified and scared at the same time.

"You don't need to be scared. Just keep your head up, so that we won't raise some kind of suspicion that would give us away." Sandra said with a reassuring smile, as she touched my left hand softly.

I was just so grateful that somebody like her, was there to comfort me at this crucial period of my life.

Sandra drove behind the line up of cars that was at our front, and we were just lucky again. Immediately we crossed the check point. They stopped the car that was just behind us.

Indeed, it was the most suspense filled five minutes of my life.

"The moon goddess is with us, indeed. She has been the one directing our paths since the very first day." I said to Sandra with a bright smile.

Indeed, I was just so overwhelmed with what was happening.

"You're right. I can't wait for us to leave this vicinity, entirely." Sandra said to me, with a smile.

This has to be the first time in a very long while, that I felt genuinely happy. I was very glad that I was going to get the opportunity to live my life the way I wanted it, without being afraid of being mistreated by anyone.

"The same with me. It feels so surreal and mind-blowing that we are going to be free again. I just can't be grateful to the moon goddess, enough." I said to her with a warm smile.

I was just very happy that I had gotten another chance to be free again.

"I think there's still one big hurdle for us to scale through." Sandra announced, and I froze in fear.

"What is that?" I asked her in panic.

I wasn't ready or prepared for any other sad news.

"I think I can still see another security barricade down the line. I don't know how we would be able to escape them." She responded.

This was like the worst news that I wanted to here at this moment. Getting this far, and being stopped in the way, is the worst feeling that I might ever experience.

Dear moon goddess, please help me.

"What are we going to do now? How are we going to escape from this people, without being caught?" I asked in fear.

Maybe, it was my destiny that I would never be free again.

"When we get there, we'll find a way out." She said, and I nodded without saying anything.

I didn't want to sound pessimistic, so I decided keep calm and continue watching. Well, I didn't know the next thing that I was going to do.

"Do you think that we can pass through that place, successfully?" I asked her with a worried tone.

To be honest, I didn't want to seem like an object of negativity or discouragement, so that was the reason that I chose to stay calm.

"If we could scale through that tunnel victoriously, and also escape from those tough security officers, then I'm very sure that overcoming this final hurdle won't be an issue." She replied me.

Sandra had always been very optimistic throughout this journey, and it was really something that I was supposed to emulate. She was indeed a rare gem, and I was grateful that I had met her.

"I know. Thank you very much for everything. So, what are your plans now? We're almost approaching them. What do you suggest that we do?" I asked.

"Wait! I'm still trying to process and understand this environment." She responded.

Just then, a masked security officer walked towards our car.

"Open this car!" He mumbled, and we both froze in shock.
