Alpha Roman Moscow has arrived.

The tension in the room, intensified.

It was at that moment that I knew that the worst was about to happen.

The wolf pack leader just stood there in utter confusion and helplessness. It was sad that he couldn't do anything to help the situation.

"I'd repeat myself, again." The queen mother started, again. "I know that most of you has been planning and praying to the moon goddess to grant you freedom. Well, I am your answered prayer. Come to me, your queen mother." She encouraged them with a warm smile.

Something in me kept telling me that it was just a trap. She was really up to something ridiculous.

"Don't listen to her, it's a set up." The wolf pack leader tried to caution his men, but it was just late, already.

Clearly looking at the remaining wolves, one would easily notice that they were terrified. It must've been the fist time that they had experienced a war in their lives.

Well, I didn't care. They brought it upon themselves, so they would have to bear it. The only thing that mattered to me the most, was my safety.

This few days has really been a rollercoaster of emotions. I couldn't really lay my hands on when this battle was going to end, but I just hoped that it'd end very fast, so that I'd get enough rest, at least.

"You'll have no choice other than listening to me. To make matters worst, your alphas are still going to kill you after now. I know you've been looking for the perfect opportunity to escape from their claws, this is it." She sounded in a more convincing tone.

Although I knew that the spirit woman was up to something, I also knew that she could be right in her own way.

The alphas are merciless, and they'd definitely end all of them for loosing the war against the water spirits.

"Stop trying hard to steal my men. As I said earlier, none of us will compromise. None!" Their spokesman said with uttermost sureness.

Well, it was as if he was getting the momentum to continue talking after every passing second. Deep down, I knew that those men were really going to take up that opportunity.

It was just a matter of time.

In this particular situation, I solidly believed that time would tell, as it would unveil all their secret agenda.

"They are not your men, they're just vulnerable prisoners, who you caged under your mercy." The spirit woman replied back at him, and he stared at her with so much anger and detestation in him.

At this point, I was waiting for the worst to happen.

"Don't talk about what you don't know, you old witch. None of us are prisoners. We're working directly with the goddess of the moon to restore decorum." The wolf pack leader, said.

In all honesty, their words were sounding like foreign language to me.

How would the moon goddess even ask anyone to kill others in the name of restoring order?

Were they truly working for the moon goddess?

These and many other questions, kept going through my mind.

"Well, I can see that you've been brainwashed. The last time I checked, you're only working for your greedy alphas, and not the moon goddess." She replied him.

"Old woman, don't you dare call my alphas, greedy. Be warned!" He yelled at her, and she responded with a smile.

Her attitude was indeed very weird to comprehend.

"Indeed, you sound foolish, and you're already a waste. My gospel is for those remaining wolves at your back, who has been imprisoned against their will. This is your time to be free." She said with a mild smile.

Each time that she spoke, I felt very hypnotized. The feeling that I always got, was something that I couldn't explain.

How was she diabolic, and still possessed the characteristics of a mother?

Maybe, that was her tool of deceit. She was just deceiving them with her pretentious demeanor.

"Just quit already, because no one is going to listen to you." The wolf pack leader continued.

At this point, it was already obvious that he felt like none of his men were going to sabotage. Feel down inside my mind, I knew that those men really wanted to escape from him, but they were scared of what was going to happen.

I didn't know if it was advisable, but I knew that most of them wanted to heed the words of the spirit woman, but they were just scared of what the possible outcome might be.

"For the last time, I'm giving you'll an opportunity of a lifetime. One thing is certain, if you don't oblige, you'd definitely be killed, and you'd never leave here alive. So, the option is yours to decide from." The queen mother said in a calm manner.

I could smell the tension that was building up in the room. I knew that it was really getting worst.

"No one would listen to you." The wolf pack leader, continued.

At this point in time, I knew that it was going to be a tug of war.

"This is your last chance." She replied back to no one in particular. At this time already, the murmuring from the back of the wolf pack, had intensified.

Was this a sign that one of the wolves were going to compromise?

I just stood at the place that I was standing, looking around in sudden anticipating to know what was going to happen.

"I think I'd be the first to take this opportunity. I can't keep leaving in fear and imprisonment." One of the wolves said, and everyone turned their eyes at him.

The wolf pack leader stared in shock, like one who had come in contact with a ghost, while the queen mother brimmed with so much happiness.

"Yes, that's so wise of you." The queen mother replied.

With that development, other members of the wolf packs, started join one after the other.

It was quite obvious that they had been waiting for the first person that would take up the opportunity. Before anyone could say jack, half of the wolf pack had already joined the marine kingdom.

This was really becoming very interesting.

"You evil witch, what have you done to my men?" The wolf pack leader asked in fear.

This was just the beginning of his fears.

Just at that moment, another battalion of alphas, arrived at the scene.

I immediately witnessed my fear.

I saw Alpha Roman Moscow and another Alpha, who was holding a girl that looked very familiar to me.
