The spirit woman wants me to be her bride.
Well, she didn't even pay so much attention to what I said, as she was more concerned about what she was trying to do. At this point in time, I was so bothered that I was praying that the moon goddess would come to my rescue.
"Oh moon goddess, please help me." I cried out in tears.
I knew that it was really going to be a tough battle ahead, and I owed it to myself, to remain strong till the end of this whole episode.
"Unfortunately, she can't help you. No one can help you. You're mine, and you'd remain a mermaid forever." The queen mother said with a smile.
Just at this very moment, I realized that it was going to be a very tough battle, ahead.
"One thing that I'm very sure about, is that the moon goddess doesn't abandon her own people. She would not abandon me now. I'm very sure of that." I cried out.
In as much as I had passed through the toughest phase of my life, I was still very optimistic that the moon goddess would never fail me.
"Hehehe." She let out a demonic laughter. "Feel free to continue swimming in the ocean of delusion. You're trapped here, and you'd remain here forever." She muttered.
Well, this was exactly where my curiosity had landed me to. I knew that I wanted to gain the freedom to leave the castle, but I regret ever embarking on that journey.
It's actually my worst regret. Now, I'm in a place where I can't help myself.
Just then, the queen mother did some incantations, and disappeared immediately. At this point, I was already left alone. Fear was beginning to creep into my mind, as I wondered what I was going to do next.
"What am I going to do now?" I asked myself with a low tune.
"Nothing...! You're going to be a mermaid princess soon. Hehehe." An invisible voice replied back at me, and I looked around to know where the problem was coming from.
It was at that moment that I realized that this was really a spiritual kingdom.
"Who are you? Why can't you summon the courage to speak to me face to face?" I finally found my voice and asked the spirit.
In all honesty, I was already beginning to loose my mind, as it wasn't easy to bear all the problems that I was facing at this very moment.
"Mere mortals do not have a sit with spirits." The voice replied.
"Fine... Then, tell me who you're." I responded in fear.
This was just the height of it'll.
"Nope you don't deserve to know who I am. Hehehe." The voice, said.
Well, I already made up my mind to accept whatever my fate was going to be. I had also realized that these spirits were actually playing mind games on me.
"I deserve to know. After all, I've been imprisoned here." I replied.
"Oh! I see. So, why do you want to know me?" The voice asked.
I kept calm for a while, as I tried to process what to say. At this point in time, was mind was already blank.
"Well, I just want to know the kind of spirit you're, and I also want to know how you can help me to escape from this strange kingdom." I finally asked the spirit.
The only thought on my mind, was how I'd be able to escape. I knew that it was weird, but it was just the only thing that I had in mind.
"Hehehe. You sound as terrible as you look." The voice of the queen mother sounded, and I jolted in shock.
How and when did she appear at my back that I didn't notice?
What was she up to this time around?
"You must be surprised to see me, but I'm not surprised to hear all those shit from you. Well, if you must know, you'd spend the rest of your life here, and no one can ever do anything about it." She announced with a proud smile, and I stared at her in disdain.
At this point in time, the only prayer that was in my mind, was for Alpha Roman Moscow and his men to come to my rescue. I didn't care about what was going to happen to me, afterwards.
"You'd be surprised that I'd leave here, soon." I yelled back at her.
"That must be after I turn you to a mermaid, first." She replied.
I looked at her in panic, as I was trying very hard to conceal the fear that was all over me. At this point, I was just scared about a lot of things. I was scared for my life, and what my outcome might be.
"Well, you can't. I don't even see any reason why you brought me to this place in the first place." I said to the spirit woman.
As the time when by, I was beginning to loose hope that help would ever come my way.
"If you must know, I have a reason for bringing you to this place. You're going to be my bride after now." The spirit woman announced with happiness, and I threw up immediately.
What!
How would I be the bride of my fellow woman?
What did she mean by that?
"I don't think I understand what you meant by that statement. How would I be your bride?" I asked her in shock and confusion.
She was beginning to sound very weird and confused to me. How would she even think about making me her bride? Who does that?
"You can never understand. Well, I'd explain it to you. You're going to be my bride for the rest of your life. I'm going to get married to you, and make you my princess." She responded with a smile.
At this point, I was flabbergasted.
"No...! I can't do that. I can't get married to you because you're my fellow woman, and you're equally a mermaid." I replied her in fear.
Immediately I said that, she burst into a long session of hysterical laughter.
"Well, watch this." The queen mother said, and stroke me with a sword, and I passed out.
