In as much as her words scared me, I was more bothered about other things. Even if I tried to escape, how would I be able to do that when I can't even figure any way out?

She paused for a while, before saying a word of reply to me.

To be honest, I tried very hard to process everything that she had just said. I really wanted to understand what she meant by that. In all honesty, was Alpha Roman, supposed to be her problem at that particular moment?

"And you.." He thundered while looking at me. "You think you can run away from me, isn't it? Well, it's so sad that you'd pay for trying to disobey me, and also for the lives of my men that was lost because of your stupidity." Alpha Roman barked at me, and I froze in shock.

Just as he finished talking, his men came into the kingdom, picked the queen mother, and also picked me up.

"Ember...!" He called my name.

I hesitated at first, before replying him.

"Yes, Alpha." I responded.

Alpha Roman shrugged for a while, before saying anything to me.

"This time around would be your doom!" He whispered to me with a cold smile.
