The secret vault.

Honestly, I didn't need anyone to tell me that the driver was a very good person. I mean... He was very empathetic, and he was also very caring about everyone that was dear to him.

Well, it was just so sad that he had to end up with a miserable cousin who didn't care whether he existed or not.

"The whole thing is painful, and I urge you to be strong. So, how did the whole stuff affect Alpha Roman?" I asked him, and he stared at me in a calm manner.

Honestly, I could see the fear and hurt in his eyes as he tried to hide his hidden fears.

"The calm brother that I knew, changed immediately after the death of his father. They had advised him to kill his father, as they told him that he was the person that was holding him back. They were able to convince him to kill his father, so that he would become the next alpha." He explained in pain, and I just stared at him, with a pitiful glare.

It was really cruel for Alpha Roman, to even think of ending his father's life. It was really heartbreaking.

"Damn! I honestly feel your pain. So, they the whole incident affect you in anyway?" I asked him with a calm smile.

I wasn't there when the whole incident had happened in the past, but I had a direct connection with the explanations that he was giving.

"You can't even understand how I feel. Each time I remember that Roman, was just the calmest child anong our peer group, I would fall into deep thoughts while trying to understand what really went wrong. After he succeeded in destroying the Alpha, the next thing that he did, was to kill everyone that might have a say in his affairs." The driver continued to explain the whole matter to me.

Honestly, I was really dumbfounded with each and every explanation that he had to give.

"I actually felt that he must've been a bully while growing up, and I'm surprised about the whole news." I sighed.

Truly, I was actually very surprised by what I just heard at this moment. Indeed, there was no need to judge a book by its cover.

"Nope... No. He changed and turned into something that I can't still explain till now. In the past, we were best of friends, but now, I'm just like every other slave around him. Maybe, it was because of the close bond that we shared that made him to spare me." He continued the outpour.

Each and every word that the driver made, was a clear expression of a young man who was really hurt. Honestly, I was really cool at consoling people, so I just had to do the best that I could.

"It's well. Changes are bound to happen, and I pray and hope that he'd be able to change soonest." I said with a smile.

To be honest, this didn't look ordinary to me. With the rate that Alpha Roman had been killing people, he should have also killed me in the past.

What I didn't understand, was the reason why he left me to live.

"I doubt he would ever change. If he would have done that, then it would have been in the past. As at this moment, he has taken a lot of lives, and I doubt that he would ever change." The driver said in a broken manner.

Honestly, I knew that he must've been broken as a result of what he had faced in the past. It was really not funny that one's own blood relative, would make them go through a terrible experience like this one.

"Well, you deserve a better life as well. You really need to be far from him, if you would want to succeed." I said, and he then burst into tears.

What did I just do?

Had I said something provocative to him, without knowing?

These and many thoughts kept running through my mind. I knew that I was definitely going to feel guilty, if I had hurt him subconsciously.

"I can't even leave him." He cried out. "It's just like my whole life revolves around him, and he would easily do away with me, if I tried to leave." He muttered in bitterness, and I nodded my head.

Indeed, it must've been a very hellish experience for him in the past.

"It's so sad that you have to face this rough side of life. I just want you to be strong and believe that the stars will align with your destiny." I patted him on the shoulder, and he smiled at me..

"Thank you very much, ma. It's been long that I last felt this good." He thanked me with a warm smile, and I returned it back at him.

At this moment, my mind was now set on how I would be able to access the secret vault, and know what was stored inside. I didn't know if it was a good decision for me to ask the driver, but I as well waved off that thought from my mind.

After all, Alpha Roman was still his blood, and he would definitely do anything to cover up for him.

Finding my way into that vault, was just born out of my own curiosity, I needed to know what he had stored in that vault, and also be able to access some informations that might be useful to me.

"If there's any other thing that you might want me to help you with, just let me know." The driver said with a smile, and excused himself from the room.

Now, I was left all alone, and I had the chance to satisfy my very own curiosity which was finding my way into that vault. Honestly, I was ready for whatever that it was that might has been stored in there.

The vault had a very old decapitated doorway.

Just then, I opened the vault, and I met the shock of my life.
