Bewildered state.

My heart flew away, the moment that I sighted Alpha Roman. I could only ask my questions, as I stared in utter bewilderment.

How did her get here, and how did they capture Sandra?

I knew that it was going to be a terrible one, already, and somehow I prayed that the queen mother would defeat them. It was that bad.

"You sent these weaklings you call men to attack my kingdom, right?" The queen mother asked him in a very angry manner.

In all honesty, I just stared at them, while watching as the whole drama continued to unfold.

At this point, the only thing that mattered most to me, was my safety.

"You'll not escape my anger. How dare you try to imprison my Luna, and also kill my wolves?" Alpha Roman, asked in anger.

At this point the tension in the room was already building up, and I could only keep watching to know what the outcome would be.

"You've still not stop being that spoilt brat that you've always been. What are you even going to do about what has happened?" She asked him.

Indeed, I could smell the anger and hostility in his voice.

This was really going to be a thug of war, that only the fittest would survive.

"I see where the problem is coming from. You're obviously underestimating what I'm capable of doing to you." Alpha Roman said with so much bitterness.

With the way the spoke, it was as if they had known each other from somewhere. Well, whatever be the case, I'd definitely see to the end.

"It's obvious that you do not know the meaning of the word underestimating. If you did, you won't have underestimated me by bringing those cheap boys of yours, to disrupt the peace and tranquility in my kingdom." The spirit woman fired back at him, and the room immediately went silent.

The battle line has indeed been drawn!

"Old woman, I'm not here to banter words with you. Just hand over my bride back to me, and let my men and I, leave here in peace." Alpha Roman, said to her.

Dam!

I hated the fact that this monster was still referring to me as his bride, when he found it hard to even treat me like a human being, talk more of a bride.

"And who is the bride that you're talking about...?" The queen mother asked, and he stared at her with so much anger.

Maybe, it was her own way of trying to piss him off or something. I knew that each of these questions furthered anger Alpha Roman, but he had no other choice than to maintaining his composure.

"You're daring me, you old hag...!" He cursed the spirit woman under his breathe.

"Go and call your dead mother, an old hag. Insolent!" She fired back at him, and this time around, he tried to fight her, but her men held her back.

Deep down inside my mind, I was happy with the way that the whole drama was going. Alpha Roman, had no respect for anyone, and I was glad that someone was finally treating him the way that he deserved.

"For saying those words, I'd make sure that I scrape off your dirty mouth with a sound paper. Witch!" He yelled in anger.

Why was he even that angry?

Maybe, he really had an unfinished business with this spirit woman. One thing that surprised me the most about them, was the fact that they were acting like they've known each other for a long time.

Why is that?

"You can't possibly do that, you little murderer. I can't count how many people that you've killed, including your own family members. Well, I have a sad news for you. It's your own time to be killed." She muttered with so much boldness, and Alpha Roman flinched in fear, although he tried to cover up his expressions, immediately.

That was really becoming very much tougher than I had ever expected it to be.

"After now, you'd be counted as one of the confused spirits that I destroyed in the past." Alpha Roman, replied back with an evil smile.

The altercation between them was really heating up. Most of the other wolf warriors, just had to keep standing there, as they tried to comprehend what was happening.

"That won't be possible cause I can see the spirits of the dead whom you've gruesomely killed in the past, hovering around you." The spirit woman said to him, and he froze in fear.

At this point, one could easily tell that he was in a state of panic, as he couldn't hide the obvious, anymore. No matter how hard he struggled to, he always gave himself away.

"You can't fool me with these dirty mind games of yours..." He finally found his voice.

Saying that I didn't love what was going on, would be a very fat lie. I was really enjoying every bit of it. I loved the way that the queen mother was treating Alpha Roman.

He didn't deserve to feel alright.

"Unfortunately for you, they are not mind games, they're your sad reality..." She continued.

At this point, I could notice that the queen mother was really messing with his head. It was obviously part of her plans which was to destabilize him, mentally.

"Shut up...!" Alpha Roman, yelled at the top of his voice.

That was it!

The effect of the whole thing, was already beginning to work on him. At least, he was getting a dosage of his own medicine.

"I can see the pictures of your dead pack members, calling you to come back home. See them, walking through you. I see one trying to grab your head." The spirit woman continued her games, while Alpha Roman, continued to display signs of mental weakness.

To be honest, this was my first time of seeing him in such a vulnerable state.

"Stop it...!" He screamed out again.

Just then, we heard a powerful noise on the ground.
