What are we going to do?

We both realized at that moment that we needed to change our clothes, as it was very crucial.

"Where can we get some new clothes around here?" Sandra asked. The question was actually for me, but I still thought it wise to give my own candid response.

"Let's check around. It doesn't look like we can g t anyone around here." I replied her.

After scanning the entire area, we decided to clean the stains in our body with the water from the river, as that was the only alternative available.

"So, what is our next move?" Sandra asked me, and I paused for a while.

I couldn't think of any other thing, but I knew that I could we really needed to find where to sleep first, as night was already fast approaching.

"I believe that we need shelter for the night. It should be our priority, right now." I responded to her, and she nodded. We might be thinking about the same thing.

At this point, it was really important and very crucial that we found a place to rest, and probably continue the journey, tomorrow.

"We need to locate an inn, as fast as possible." She suggested, and I nodded in affirmation. Immediately, we started working around the village, in a bid to locate any inn.

Fortunately for us, we found one not too long after.

Although it look dilapidated and archaic, we didn't have any choice other than to spend the night there. After all, half bread is better than none.

We paid the old lady at the reception, before being assigned to the room that we were going to spend the night.

"This place looks very old and unkempt. We have to just manage it for the night." I said to her, and she smiled immediately.

"Of course! It's not like we even have multiple choices at that. I just can't wait to get out of this place, tomorrow. It seems like we still have a very long journey, ahead." Sandra said.

It was obvious that she already had some where in mind.

"I think say. But, do you have anywhere in mind?" I asked her in an inquisitive manner.

She paused for a while, before replying me.

"I believe that we would have to ask that old woman at the reception, first. My instincts are telling me that she would give us a good direction." She spoke further.

"Well, don't you think that it'd give us away, easily?" I asked her.

I didn't want a situation where that old woman would turn against us immediately, after she hears about our story. It was the last thing that I wanted.

"Nope! I understand your worries but no need to worry, as we would follow her with logical reasoning." She responded to me, immediately, and I smiled weakly.

That was just the last thing I could remember, as I collapsed on the bed in exhaustion.

I suddenly woke up at the middle of the night, after Sandra tapped me on the shoulder.

"Are you okay?" She asked in concern.

"Yes... Yes... I am..." I stammered.

She kept calm for a while, before replying me.

"You don't look alright. It's just very obvious. You've been shaking while asleep, like someone who was in a battle field, coupled with the fact that you were speaking inaudible languages." She said in concern, and I had no other choice than to relate the story to her.

I didn't have a choice.

"I had a terrible nightmare..." I began.

"Please, tell me what you dreamt about. Maybe, it could be the moon goddess revealing things to us." She said to me.

Well, she could be right, but I was getting more scared as a result of the terrible dream.

"I saw where a large number of wolves gathered around us to feast on our bodies. It was as if we were caught on our way of escaping, and they decided to unleash terror on us..." I continued narrating the tale in fear.

The warm hands of Sandra, kept rubbing on my shoulders.

"That's not a good omen. Meanwhile, did you recognize anyone?" She asked.

"Oh yeah. Their were many of them, but I think I could recognize Alpha Roman, and one other white wolf there." I replied her, and she sighed.

I knew that it wasn't just a random dream. It could be that the moon goddess was passing a message to us.

"Damn! That white wolf is my monstrous alpha. This is just so pathetic. I thank the moon goddess for revealing these things to you. It's quite obvious that they've been searching for us, and we have to continue running..." Sandra said, and I nodded in affirmation.

She was right, we owed it to ourselves to be safe from all the embarrassment and wicked life that they wanted to force us to live.

"What do we do now?" I asked in panic.

The room went silent again, as we were seriously thinking about what to do. At this moment, sleep had disappeared from our eyes, and we got scared by any little noise that we heard outside.

"We have to act fast. There's no need to panic. We would continue the journey tomorrow. You see the reason why I suggested that we inquire from that old woman..." She responded.

I didn't want us to give ourselves away. That woman could easily betray us, and that would be the end of our journey.

"It's not like I don't want us to ask the woman some questions, also remember that she can easily give us away. Well, their won't be any issues. If asking her some questions would solve these problems, then let's do that...!" I answered.

She nodded her head, and we kept calm in silence.

At this point, we obviously didn't have any other thing to say.

"We need to ask the moon goddess to direct our paths, so that we won't make mistakes. Have a good night rest ahead..." Sandra said with a smile, and I smiled back at her.

She was such a warm soul.

"Sure! Our paths are directed, already. Have a blessed night too, sis..." I said to her with a smile.

Who knows what tomorrow would hold for us?

Just at that moment, we heard voices of men outside.
