Chapter 33

"What will I do with that?" I asked when he showed me his cellphone. Frowning as he stared at the phone. Because I still have half an hour for the next subject, he first invited me to go back to the garden.
I feel embarrassed for what happened earlier alright! It's annoying because before he handed over the phone, I was still pissed!
"Type your number." He said and shrugged, he was just looking at me and waiting for me to finally type my number. I was just looking at him too, when he realized that I have no plan to take his phone, he pouted and he himself put the phone in my palm.
I roll my eyes and do nothing but type. I almost returned it to him. I could see out of the corner of my eye that he was typing something. After he did that, my phone suddenly rang in my bag.
"Just making sure." He shrugged. I just shook my head and didn't pick up the phone. I'll save it later.
"What's your next class?" He suddenly asked. Btw, we"re both sitting under the tree and there"s a bit of a gap between the two of us. I don't know, I don't want to approach him I'm not used to.
"Major," was my short answer, he later also asked about the room and building which I immediately answered.
"I'll walk you in your room."
"Nevermind!" I was quick, his forehead wrinkled.
"Why?" He asked coldly.
"You have another guy to walk you, then?" I'm tired.
"No! I just don't want to bother you! I know you have classes too so I can handle myself!"
"Tsk, it's just a meter away from my building, Ysla."
So I did nothing but agree to his wishes. He was so lazy to enter! I did a few more drags with him just so he could get up and we could go to his class. But the grass is still really hard.
Even though, he didn't want to attend class for me but I didn't agree. It would be good if the reason was the bruises on his face but no! Its because of me!
How ridiculous of that cold hearted guy! Lame reason!
Like what he said, he delivered me. Sometimes I also don"t understand Zarius "trip. He did not even clarify the relationship between the two of us. He made so clueless between us!
But despite that, I think it's better this way too, because it's too early for the two of us. I don't need to name everyone, it's enough for me that I can be with him and he allowed me to see him. That's right, I'm happy.
Whole time major class nothing enters my mind. I'm going crazy! Lord! Not that much! C'mon, Ysla! Focus!
When I came out of the room, I saw Zarius who was covered in dust and seemed to be waiting for something. I bit my lip when he looked at me as if I was really what he was waiting for.
I look around to check who's really he is waiting. But he was really just looking at me and just frowned while his eyes were dark again, as usual.
"T-teka!" When he took the sling bag over my shoulder.
"What?" He asked rudely and started walking. What the ?!
"W-what are you doing? Give me back my bag!" I whispered loudly to him but he was just walking lazily and didn't seem to hear anything.
"Zarius!" I just follow him as he walks. And I don't know but we're going out of school.
"W-where are we?"
"You still have classes?" He stopped when I asked.
"B-why?"
"I'll take you to our place." My forehead wrinkled. His house?
"Place?"
He laughed at what I said. "C'mon, you'll never know if you won't come." He held out his hand to me, I don't know if I will accept. I'm hesitant, I still have classes! And two more subjects I need to enter!
But I want to be with him.
"Do you still have class?" He asked again and just lowered his hand without me accepting.
"M-there are, d-two more."
"Let's go, bring us. Just text me if you're bored."
That's what he did, he took me to my next class, I didn't want to miss it because it was a waste of the day. I still have promises to mom and Dad and they might find out I cut class just because I went with a guy. I'm also glad because he didn't force me to go with him, though I'm curious about what he's saying.
When he delivered me to the other side of the room, I hesitated to take my bag with him.
"Go inside now, Ysla." He noticed that I didn't seem to want to enter. I nodded slowly, I couldn't even smile at him. But I was surprised when he touched both my cheeks and squeezed.
"C'mon, smile! I wanna see your dimples!" I tried to remove his hand.
"Zarius!"
He laughed and finally let go. I roll my eyes on him and turn my back to enter.
"I'll text you." That was the last I heard from him when I entered. Even the weight of my heart.

I should not be absent in such a situation.
During class my phone suddenly vibrated, I put the case on the side of my chair and stood up to the text that Zarius was saying earlier.
I saw him even though he hadn't been saved yet.

I smiled at what I read. Seriously?
I would have just typed to reply when he texted again.

Stop texting me! The professor discussed!
After I sent it, he also replied quickly to me.

I just hid my phone and I might even get caught texting to confiscate my phone.
The whole class was in a good mood but I still couldn't help but regret that I hadn't been with her before. Even when it comes to my next class, I won't be next to him, maybe he's doing something and I'll bother him. Maybe there's another class!

I bit my lip, I was in the last subject and when the darkness took over the light in the sky now. It's only twenty minutes and the class will end. At noon we separated earlier and my two subjects were more than five hours because today is purely major class.
I think it's only six o'clock in the afternoon.
"Your class will be divided into 10 groups which is each group has 5 members. Because there are more than fifty of you in this class, and this is for what your booth will do this intrams."
Almost everyone shouted because of the announcement of prof. Earlier, officers also went around to announce this.
And since our course is HRM, the prof had better say that we were assigned to food stalls.
"It's up to you guys what you will sell as long as you earn and the capital you set aside for the stall should be returned." Everyone nodded.
"Alcobar, Alegre, Antonio, Arandain and Bacalay ..." Then the professor said to the group.
I didn't even reply to Zarius.
"Sta. Ana, Tresvalles, Trinidad, Valderama and Villareal." I got up when my name was mentioned and joined my group. I was shocked to see that my groupmates were all men and I was the only woman.
"Wow we're lucky!" I heard a man's promise. Everyone smiled at me.
"Hi, I guess you know me already." I just shook my head at the speaker.
"Hala ?! He's the Team Captain of our department who will play in the basketball intrams!" But I just shook my head at someone who spoke.
"Let go of Kio, I'm Eian Tresvalles." He held out his hand all at once.
"Ahm I'm Laraya Villareal." Then I smiled at them.
"Wow! Your eyes are so beautiful! There are still dimples for a real barbie." I laughed at one.
I met Kio, Nate, Klane, Jiro and Eian next. I'm happy because somehow there is no woman because I'm as traumatized as being friends with a woman.
But I also couldn't help but be nervous because of the men in my group. Do they know anything about that?
We still have two weeks for preparation, thinking about what to sell and building a stall.
"Are you all free this Saturday? We're just at home so we can talk about everything." Eian suggest.
"Yes pre!" Jiro replied.
"How bout you, Laraya?"
"A-ah yes! Its fine with me." Then we exchanged numbers to just text next Saturday. Because sometimes we don"t take classes in another subject. To know the time as well.
Then we walked out of the room together.
"What about Laraya? Just text!" I nodded to Eian.
"We'll take care of it!" Kio nodded. I just smiled and turned around but when I turned around I didn't expect a bulk to be leaning against the wall while holding the phone and looking badly at the men with me.
Eian also noticed him.
"Zarius pre! See you in intrams goodluck satin!" Eian even saluted Zariua but this man seemed to have no pake and even criticized me.
"Why are you with them?" He asked coldly when he was in front of me.
I couldn"t help but swallow at the extreme awkwardness I was feeling.
"I-I'll group them."
"Why pure men?"
"Prof's alphabetical order, and then I can't do anything."
"Tsk." He answered and just took my bag. I was not able to appeal and just followed him but when I remembered that older brother Maru was outside I talked to him.
"I have my bag."
"Why? You were together when it was Tresvalles?"
I was stunned by what he said.
"N-no! Because my bodyguard is there and I might see you!"
"Eh what?" I was slapped on my forehead.
Is he really that big?
"Because you don't understand that he might report to Dad--"
"I'll face your dad, then."
The day passed and Im so fluttered that me and Zarius getting close to each other. There is no clear meaning when we meet and the way he takes me to the room, I'd better just ignore it and go with the flow, I'm just happy that he's with me without a label.
We still make money secretly because I'm not ready to tell my parents. When the right time comes, I guess.
Then his friends often catch us together, btw he introduced me as not his girlfriend ah? Just Ysla just like that.
I met Chaos, Vino, Arkuss and the twin which is Zyle and Zyke. I also learned that what I often hear on campus is that Moonstone is just one band and they are the members.
They have a gig every night or so depending on if someone calls for them to perform. I once invited by them or him, but I refused. I don't know what I'll let my dad know just in case and I don't want to lie to them.
I'm also happy because Zarius often attends his classes but sometimes he still can't avoid fighting.
"I need to go home." I said while leaning on his shoulder, we are here in the park at midnight. And I'm getting used to him somehow. He often brought beers but instead of forbidding him, I just let him. Im not his girlfriend though.
Everything I don"t like about a man is in him when you think about it, but I can"t find myself maturn off with him.
His hand found my waist and pull it into him more.
I chuckled.
"Thirty minutes." That's what he always says when I say I'm going home. It's just funny because he used to say that for me to go home but now for me to stay.
We're both looking at the beautiful stars and glowing moon everynight. Sometimes I think I shouldn't train myself to be with him. I admit I have doubt, because just like mommy said we can't predict time, we can't tell the time. Sometimes the person who is with us now, will also leave us when the time comes.
But I hope Zarius wont.
"What are you thinking?" He asked.
I took a deep breath before he answered and faced me. I can see all the desires on his eyes, full of adoration but I hope that's what I see. Is it too fast if I am falling in love with him?

"Ahm." I don"t know what to say, I can"t find enough words.
"C'mon, Yslavien."
"Kase, w-what if the time comes when you can find someone you love?" She was surprised by my question and eventually smiled.
"Why would I look for someone else if they're just by my side?" My heart beats become loud. It seems that what he said has not yet sunk into my brain.

I averted my eyes, afraid that he might just be playing with me. I heard all of them are playboys except Chaos. I can hear him flirting with Shaina, the nursing student.
B-maybe he's like Arkuss. I still don't want to be left behind. They say it hurts to be hurt.
"I was just kidding." I seemed to be stabbed ten times by what I heard.

"S-I said that. But c'mon! Answer my question!" I tried to be firm in what I said.

"I dont have plan yet to find a perfect girl for me, Ysla. I am fine with you, Im happy when im with you." He said seriously while looking at me, I cant take my eyes off on him too. He was capturing me, hypnotizing me.
It makes my knees wobbled and trembled.
"A-what are you! H-not while we're alive together ----"
"You're the only one I want to be with for life, Ysla. No one else." Her eyes are dark.
Should I believe?
He's known as a certified playboy! But there is a part of my heart that I should believe him.
I averted my eyes when he held my hand.

"Are you doing anything tomorrow? Its saturday." He asked suddenly while holding my hand.
I remember that Eian and I were going to do something about the intrams.
"There is. I'm going to my groupmates, our section has been assigned to food stalls. I know E-eian Tresvalles."
His eyes darkened again when I mentioned Eian.
"Fuck! Why are they all men ?!"
"Eh our prof choose that! And I have no right to complain. Why?"
"Tsk. I'll go with you."

"No! I'll go with you tomorrow and that's final Yslavien. No more complains." So I did nothing but agree.
"What time is your curfew?"
"A-ahm, I informed dad that it was 2pm then he said my bodyguard will fetch me at 6pm."
"Fuck." Mura nya.
"Why?"
"What are you going to do in the morning?" He asked again.
"M-Soobin has a saturday check up ---"
"I'll go with you."
"Okay." I'll just answer.
"Then you'll be with me after that."
Where is my forehead frowning?
"At Moon Ground, our studio is okay with you, isn't it?"
It was my first time to go there, and I wasn't curious so I just nodded and I'll take care of older brother Maru.
