Chapter 37

Its monday today and now the intramurals. It's been a week since that incident that I went to Moon Ground, a lot has happened as well. The midterm is also very close so after this intrams it will be bloody again for the pre-lim exam.
Our group talked about wearing both a plain blue shirt and pants. That's why when I think it's okay for me to look in the mirror, I smile. I am also wearing a bunny headband actually we are all so I keep wondering what they look like.
I just put a lip tint then wear my white shoes. I picked up my bag that was lying on the dresser. My phone rang correctly.
It was Zarius.
"Hello?" When I answer.
"Where are you?" I heard his baritone voice.
I sat on the end of my bed first.
"Still at home, are you? You're already at school?"
"Nope, Im outside your house. Come out now." My eyes widened at what he said so I quickly got up and went to the balcony to see if he was there. My heart beats faster when I saw him leaning on his car smoothly while his hand holding a phone that was pointed at his other ear.
He's just wearing a white shirt with jacket pair with his black pants. He's too gorgeous in any kind of views.
I bit my lip, I could see how his foreheads were wrinkled even when I was far away.
Fortunately, Mommy and Daddy have left so he is free to wait for me now.
"Wait, I'm down."
"K." He just said, I didn't speak anymore and I ended the call myself.
I was about to put down my phone when it vibrated.
It was from Ivan!
Ivan:
Otw, let's go in together.
Goodness! What should I do? He might catch up with Zarius! What will I say?!!
I immediately typed a reply.
Me:
Nevermind! Brother Maru will take me.
When I sent that, I waited for his reply.
Ivan:
Psh. I'm close, but don't go. Ingats
I immediately took a deep breath! God! That was so close, Ysla!
I hurried down, only to find out that Manang and Kuya Maru were there. Manang was peeking out the window and seemed to be watching while Kuya Maru was doing the same.

I shook my head and went down the stairs.
"I think I saw him here in the village. That young man is familiar." Manang still promised.
"Ahm." They immediately looked at me when I coughed.
"Oh hija." Manang turned around. "Wow! Every day you look so beautiful!" He praised me, I immediately blushed.
"N-not at all!"
"It's okay, that's why there's a handsome guy outside because my pet is waiting." Pang asar pa ni manang
Kuya Maru whistled.
"Man, he's not dating yet!" All three of us widened our eyes at what I said.
What the hell ?!
What did I said again?
"Not yet?" Manang emphasized the word 'po'
"Ah." I couldn't find my words.
"Ehem." Brother Maru coughed and whistled.
Embarrassing!
"Did Andrea and Guillermo already know this hija?" I slowly shook my head.
"Man please, I'll be the one to say. T-besides, he's just my friend."
Manang nodded as if he didn't believe what I was saying.
"Just friends?" He asked.
"Yes..."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes manang."
"Why just a friend? That young man is slow." Kuya Maru and I both laughed.
"Just hija, you promised your parents to study ah?" Manang also knows about my promise.
"Yes," I replied.
"Oh he's fine! Go and multiply este so you don't get sick!" It was funny that my older brother Maru and I just went out.

When we got out, Zarius immediately glanced at us and frowned again when he saw that my older brother was with me.

I waved at brother Maru when I got on board and Zarius did the same.
"Did you eat already?" He suddenly asked when we were on the flight.
"Yes, you?"
"Done." He simply said.
"Don't you have classes? I mean joined activities?" I will ask.
"Just practice."
I just nodded and stopped talking. Like what I said, I am not that talkative type of girl. So I don't believe that those who try to flirt with me really like me. They like me because of my physical appearance, they don't even know my behavior. If I'm ugly, they probably won't like someone like me.
That's how the world is, isn't it? Lots of judgmental people. The outward appearance of a person is first seen or based on. What about those who don't look good but have a good heart?
I wonder if Zarius too, if I'm ugly will he approach me?
If he likes me, what's the reason?
I'm sure his physical appearance is not the reason why I like him. From what I found out about him, I liked him there, I want to know more of him. I want to be his crying shoulder whenever he needs someone to lean on.
"What are you thinking?" He asked, I glanced at him but he was just serious about driving.
"Nothing." My answer. Even the truth, I hid my face because of the memories flashed back. That was so close! Goodness! What went through my mind and sent me body heat? And Lord! We just met for almost a month or so then I let him did that? Hays spontaneously followed my body.
I just squeezed to the side so he wouldn't notice that I was blushing.
By the way, maybe Ivan and I are already there and fixing up our stall on campus, maybe the booths and stalls in the school are scattered.
My phone vibrates correctly.
I took it out of my bag. From Eian.
Eian:
Laraya, where are you?
I kept smiling at how he typed.
Me:
Otw
That's all I replied.
Eian:
Ok, take care. Btw, we're fixing our stall already.
God! They are complete! And they're fixing it, I hope I can still help.
"Who's that?" Zarius asked.
"Eian, where am I?"
"Tsk." What is his problem again?
Half an hour passed and we arrived at the school. No wonder there are so many students. Many also have the same shirts. All of that is pure plain, but the colors blue it means those with stalls that sell foods of which I am one of them.
But the other plain color I don't know what it means. I will look at the poster in the bulletin later.
Zarius opened the door for me, but he treated me coldly again. I was surprised when he took my mini bagpack, I didn't complain and let him go.
He will walk with us first. I don't know if I will be ashamed because he is with me. She's such a brush! So many students are already looking at him.

Zarius shook his head, but I was surprised when he pulled me over and wrapped his arm around my waist.

I smiled at them.

"Stupid!" Mura is Zarius.
"Sana all." Chaos has a bitter harvest.
"It's too bad! Shaina is such a rock! She's been in senior high school!" Zyke's pissed off. I just saw Vino quietly hugging me.
I wonder who is Shaina, she is a nursing student. I immediately remembered what they said to Kio that Zarius was also courting nursing.

"Fuck you!" Then Chaos raised his middle finger to Zyke.
"Let's just meet at the gym. I just brought it!" They parted ways and then we walked.
Zarius' cold aura is back, he's really different when I'm with him. It's refreshing.
In the distance we saw Eian getting ready.
"Laraya!" Jiro called me. I immediately smiled and waved.
I turned to Zar.
"Ahm my bag."
"I'll take you."
"Here we are."
"There you go, Yslavien." He taught at our stall at the same time. I still wanted to appeal but I just let him.
Their eyes widened when they saw Zarius with me again. Our stall was in good condition, I was immediately amazed. I even saw that there were tools on the side, and our goods had not been fixed in the stall yet, and I saw a tent on the side.
"Ahm." Kio coughed at the same time while he was drinking.
"Hi!" I greeted them, but they just smiled. I turned back to Zarius and took the bag, he looked badly at my companions.
"Zar ..." I called.
"Text me if you're done." His response was cold.
I just nodded and smiled but I was surprised when he lowered his head and kissed me on the lips.
I heard Kio sigh.
I was stunned for a few more minutes by what he did until his lips parted from mine.
"You're cute." He smiled at me as he squeezed my chin.
I'm still shocked.
"I have to go." Then he walked backwards.
He kissed me! Lots more people! Even they only saw Eian but still! Hays!
"Shit you said you didn't?" I just went back to trance when Kio asked.
"Ahm we'll fix that." When I talk differently. I put my bag on the chair first.
"Sus avoiding." I scolded Kio. But he just laughed.
I looked at Eian who was banging on the top, he was attaching our tarp.
"You need help?" I asked him.
"No need." He promised without looking at me.
I just shrugged and was about to take the box full of food but Nate preceded me.
"I'm the leader." I laughed and just followed him to put the box inside.
When he put it inside, I fixed it.
"Son of a sweet potato really oh!" I stopped putting water in the styro box when Eian shouted. I peeked in and saw that Kio looked like they were teasing Eian.
"Pakyu tanga." Eian answered again when Klane whispered.
I just continued what I was doing, I even managed to tie my hair because it was hot inside, and I was already sweating. It will be eight o'clock in the morning today and I have news that there will be a program later. For those who will participate in activities, board games and the pinoy game but I did not participate.
Also tonight there will be a battle of the bands.
"Laraya come rest first warm in there." I heard Kio say.
I stood up and went out.
They were surprised at how well I was.
"Hey, you're sweating a lot! Sorry Laraya, we haven't installed the mini fan yet!" Jiro was confused.
"It's okay what are you!" I saw Eian looking at me too.

I laughed and went to my bag to find something to wipe but I forgot to bring it.
"Here." I looked at the pink handkerchief that was presented to me. I immediately looked up and saw Eian coming out.
"Ahm." I would have taken it slowly if he had preceded me and gently wiped my forehead.
I averted my eyes.
"I-I ..." I was about to get the handkerchief but he didn't give it to me.
"Stay still."
"S-thank you, Eian." He looked at my neck, he was still hesitant to wipe but in the end he was just trembling when he handed me the handkerchief for me to wipe.
"Bat andaming langgam!" We looked at Kio who was scratching his arm.
"Sit down first." At the same time Eian handed me a chair, I sat down and saw him leave for a while. He went to the pouch of our bag and took something.
He was carrying a blue tumbler and I was surprised when he handed it to me.
"Drink first." Confused, I accepted with him, I would have been grateful when he returned to what he was doing when he was beating.
I just shook my head and drank.
"Hey news we'll play Moonstone ah!" Klane leaned over me.
The band Zarius?

"You will play Moonstone later, they are judges in the battle of the bands."
