Unknown Being

Who was this creature?  She trespassed onto my land.  She looked human but I knew better than that!

Yet, she smelled like sweet caramel.  How could that be?  My mate died so long ago.  I also died then also went feral from it.

Yet on my nightly run her smell called to me.  It woke my beast from hiding and ran for her.  I didn't know what the smell was but he wouldn't stop hunting until he found her!

I can't have a mate.   I won't go through it again. 

Sydney POV 

I woke up in a room.   A beautiful room but no memory of how I got there. 

Suddenly my power started rising in my body.   I could see my veins turning blue.   

Then they stormed in. 

Bang

Crash 

My powers went off and they were all on the ground now.  I got up and walked around the bodies.  I knew they would be fine.   

I ran out the door and crash straight into HIM!

The man I ran from in the forest.   He must have brought me here. 

"Who are you?"

He peaked in the room and saw them on the ground.

"What are you?"

I had no answer.

He grabbed my arms and looked at the blue.   I looked at my arms as the blue faded and returned to normal. 

"I….I don't know,  anymore. "

His eyes locked with mine and I felt a strong pull to him.   How could that be though?

I looked in his eyes, the yellow reminded me of sunflowers.  His eyes got darker until they were black,  staring at me. 

I looked away and he lifted my chin up to see his eyes. 

"You don't fear me?"

"Should I?"

"Most humans do….. not that your human but you stare right into me?"

"I have been living with werewolves recently…."

Before I could finish he cut me off.

"That explains the smell on you. You smell like a wolf. "

"Don't you all smell the same?"

"No dear,  we don't.   Plus I am no ordinary wolf.  I am a Lycan.  Now tell me what is your name?"

I backed up.   Stunned by his revelation.  My back hit the wall.   He leaned closer with his arms on both sides of me.  He looked deep in my eyes.

"Sydney,"  I said shakily. 

"Are you afraid of me?"

I wanted to scream yes over and over but something told me he would never hurt me.

"No, you would never hurt me. "

He started sniffing my neck. 

"How do you know that?"

I gulped.

"Because…. I'm not blue anymore!"

"Blue…..you mean that all came from you?"

"Yes….I….It had to be me."

Unknown Pov

She made me feel like I needed to protect her.  She can't be my eitheral.  I was cursed to be alone.  But she looked into my soul.

What was I going to do with her?  Where did she come from and where was she running to?

"You said you lived with werewolves before."

My claws extended of the thought of her being with someone else.  How could she be but she smelled of a wolf.

"Where did you come from?"

I watched as I could see her thinking of how to answer my question.

"I don't know the name of their pack but it's not too far from here…...what is your name?"

Should I tell her the truth.  I normally hide everything, but she made me want to tell her everything and that scared me to death.

"Let's go this way before you do more damage with your blue light!"

"Why won't you tell me your name?"

"When it is time you will know it."

I took her to a corridor and walked her in a room.  It was a guest room but that's where I would keep her.

"What am I doing here?"

"This is where you will stay until I figure out what you are.  Don't try to leave here, the consequences will be dire!"

I looked at her with a stern look.

"What are you going to do with me?"

I walked up to her with her eyes so big. As I got closer she leaned against the wall.  I put my arms on both sides of her, careful not to touch her again.

I whispered in her ear…."don't worry, sunshine.  Everything will be revealed in due time."

With that I left and locked the door behind me.  

Sydney pov

He left me locked in a room where was I?  Why did the locket lead me here and not to my mother. 

I was angry and knew I had to find her to find my true self.  There had to be a way out of here.

I grew angry and then it happened again.   My veins started growing blue.  I wondered if I could control it. 

I tried to concentrate my power to focus it.  I felt heat rising up my body.  I looked at the window and crash!

The glass shattered and blew everything in the room down.  I ran to it to look.   I was on the third floor.   I could make it down there. 

I looked at the bed and started tying it together.   The sooner I got out the better. 

I looked back at the door then threw it down and climbed out the window as quick as possible.   Not sure how long it would hold my weight or when he would come for me again. 

Just then I heard the blanket ripping, I was half way down.   I let go hoping I wouldn't break anything on the way down. 

Crunch!

I threw my hand over my mouth so I wouldn't scream out!  I got up and looked at my leg.  It might be broken but I had to go.  I needed to find my mother.

I walked as fast as I could away from here when I got back to the forest line I touched the locket.

"Mother, please guide me to you!"

A blue light shot out from the locket and deeper in the forest.  Without hesitation I followed it.

Unknown pov

What is she?  Who is she and why am I drawn to her.  I need to find out now.

I headed back to her room and I knew something was wrong.  I opened the door.   I took in the room. 

Where did she go?  Then I notice the window is open.  This girl has some balls.  She didn't even stop after I threatened her.

My insides were mad and I couldn't help but let out a howl screaming through the forest.

"Lycan, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm going after her.  You're in charge until I get back."

With that I changed into my wolf massive in size as I chased after this mystery woman!
