The Meeting

I woke up with a smile on my face. I got up and started getting ready for the day. It was going to be a long and hard day figuring out how to take down the hunters. With Annabelle help we might have an insight to be able to destroy them before they see it coming. The new technology they have does not need to be out there to torture helpless werewolves.

I looked over as Annabelle stirred in her sleep. I guess I should wake her up so we can get going to the meeting. This will be a very important meeting and who knows how long we will be in it.

"Annabelle." I said softly to not shock her awake.

She stretched and rubbed her eyes.

Damn she looked sexy especially in my shirt and boxers. My wolf was going crazy to attack and claim her before anyone else had a chance to look at her.

"Good Morning."

She smiled at me, cheerfully.

"Morning, we have the meeting soon and thought you might want to get showered and eat before we go."

"Yes, thank you."

She got up and then paused.

"What's wrong?"

"I just realized.....I don't have any clothes and as much as I love wearing your shirt and boxers. I don't think everyone else will like seeing me in these."

My wolf growled before I could stop him at her statement.

"See even your wolf agrees." She smiled.

"I will retrieve you some clothes, just shower and I will leave clothes on the bed for when your done."

"Thank you Wesley."

I knodded and walked out the door as she turned back to the shower.

I walked down the hall to find the Alpha, only he would know where I could find female clothes that didn't smell of another male wolf.

I entered the kitchen.

"Alpha." I bowed my head as I entered the kitchen.

"You don't need to be so formal with me while your here, Alpha Wesley. The name is Trevor."

"Trevor......I wanted to see if you had any female clothes preferrable not near any male wolves that Annabelle could use since she didn't bring anything before she came with us."

"Sure, I'll have someone get on that for you. Meeting in an hour right?"

"Yes, as soon as Annabelle comes down and eats then we will head to the meeting. Where did you want it to be at?"

"We have a conference room, its normally used for birthday parties for the pack but it will be big enough for what we are doing now and it keeps sound out too so we won't get disturbed by outside noise."

"Where is it at?"

He pointed to a room off the kitchen.

"Right through there, when you and Annabelle are ready we will be there."

"Okay, see you in an hour then Trevor."

"Her clothes were just delivered to your room. I will see you at the meeting Wesley."

"Thank you."

Trevor then walked away to finish up some pack business before the meeting.

I was sitting at the kitchen table waiting for Annabelle with our plates of food.

I smelled her amazing scent and looked up, she was walking down the stairs.

I smiled as I saw her come down the stairs.

"I have your food." I said as she got closer to me.

"Thank you."

She looked at her plate and her mouth watered. She started eating slowly so I started eating as well. We ate in silence while I was mentally preparing for this meeting.

I looked up to see she finished eating her food.

"You all ready to go?"

"Yes, I think so."

I took our plates and cleared them out then headed back to Annabelle. I reached out for her hand and she put her hand in mine. I guided her to where Trevor said the meeting would be.

I opened the door to the meeting.

Trevor spoke as soon as we walked in.

"Perfect timing, we just got all the other Alphas on the conference call. Even Delta is on the line so we can get this meeting started."

I bowed my head as I guided Annabelle and I to our seats next to Victor.

"Thank you everyone for taking the time out of your busy days of running your packs. I understand this is a lot to take in but please bear with us while we explain what has been going on here. My pack has had issues of children and adults being taken. We weren't sure who or what was going on. We tried to investigate it ourself but by the time one was reported the scent was dead, it lead nowhere. I reached out to our neighbouring pack and Alpha Wesley came to investigate. Now he didn't think anything bad at the time, he came and investigated anyways. I will turn the call over to Alpha Wesley to let you know what he had found when he was able to track them down."

He pointed to me and I rose from my seat.

"Good Morning everyone, my name is Alpha Wesley. I am from the Moonlight Pack. We got a visit from the Alpha and knew we needed to help even if it was just to find answers they needed. One day we got word that it happened again so we immediately took off and travel to this pack. When we got here we asked for last location seen. I then put my best tracker on it as we searched and went after the scent. The scent would try to lead you away to an empty cave to throw you off but in the end we found the real hiding place."

Gasps were heard from the phones and in the room.

"Unfortunately it was worse than we were expecting, it was HUNTERS! They have found a way to hide there scent which is why the scent faded. It took us too long to find the kids and other missing wolves. Unfortunately, this is not the end of this tale. We got captured and the one to help release us was a prisoner herself. After she helped us escape, I then helped her escape too."

I looked around the room, making sure everyone was listening and ready for the next part.

"Her name is Annabelle, she is here today with us to help strategize but she told me a couple things already that you should know. Not only can they mask there scent but they have silver liquid bullets. These bullets are capsules that instantly turn to liquid once entered into your body. They also have what is similar to pepper spray but once again silver instead. We are not sure if this one will kill or just paralyze you long enough for them to escape or damage you while your stuck in pain. We have to be careful when we approach them but these hunters need to be stopped and if they aren't they will travel to ALL of our PACKHOUSES and when they do there will be no one left to help."

Everyone started talking and trying to figure out what to do there was a bunch of commotion. Everyone was surprised that hunters were not only kidnapping people but everything that had been made to kill us off.

"Look we all know we need to stop this hunters are going to make......"

Annabelle touched my arm as she stood up. I looked at her about to ask her what was wrong when she spoke.

"My name is Annabelle, I am the one that helped them escape. I am also the one that told them of all the weapons they had. These weapons are still in the testing face which is why they were kidnapping wolves, to test them out. There are only two people that know how this is made so if you destroy the factory and kill these two Hunters then you shouldn't have a problem with them trying to go world wide with this issue."

There was a lot of decision and chatter then someone spoke.

"If it only takes killing the two then why didn't you do it already miss?" The Alpha asked.

"One my wolf was in hiding so he couldn't sense that I was a wolf, if she made herself known I would have been experimented on too. Also I was watched with everythinng I did. I tried to help them escape but it only caused there deaths before."

"Why did they keep you around if you kept setting our kind free?"

She gulped and I saw her fists clenched, she took a deep breath and spoke slowly.

"Because the head hunter is my uncle and he gave me away to his second in command."

She looked down, ashamed.

I grabbed her and pulled her to me, as I spoke.

"Her uncle killed her brother in front of her and made her his slave waiting to see if her wolf would come out. It never did so he did the next bext thing and gave her away to an equally awful man."

They all looked around unsure of what to do.

I slammed my hands on the table!

"He must be stopped!"

"I think we all need a break, we should come back tomorrow with ideas on what the next steps should be." Alpha Trevor spoke.

Heads knodded around the room and we all left the room in silence.
