"So that doesn't explain why you hate Lycan's so much or more specifically Grayson? I mean I understand that the Lycan didn't help and when he did it was too many years later but what does Grayson have to do with any of it?"

"The Lycan could have helped and we could have been together for years knowing your true identity. It's not that I hate Grayson but all his kind are the same they only put her there kind first. They didn't think of the consequences just thought what would be good for them and there kind. My life was ripped away from me, he had a chance to help me but he didn't and for that I would never forgive him.
Have you thought why he wants you, my daughter?" My mother responded.

"Because I am his mate. I know I haven't know him that long but he is my mate. He helped in getting me here when he could have dragged me back to his home. There's still a lot I need to learn about myelf being a fae and all but I believe he is the man I am supposed to be with."

"Have you glowed blue before you came to the fae world?"

"Yes, when I woke up in his home. I knocked all of them out when I was scared not knowing what they wanted from me. However, when he came in the room I was glowing brightly and it went out. I knew he didn't want to hurt me after that."

"It went out for him?"

"Yes mother, what does it mean?"

"It is unclear, the blue aura is normally warning us of danger and the fact it went out signifies he was no threat to you but to be sure he's your mate you'll have to see on your own. Since you have been here and no longer pulling men to love you, has he still felt love for you."

"Yes, he's called me his mate the whole time we have been finding our way to you. He's waiting for me to call him, he said he can sense me."

"They is an extension of our fae magic they believe they are your mate and they can sense and feel a bond, just like the werewolf."

"Wesley, I know I feel bad for doing that to him. Even if I didn't know I was doing anything wrong. But the blue aura didn't attack him either."

"Have you called out to either of them to see if they respond?"

"Call out to them? How do I do that?"

"I can walk you through this, close your eyes. Keep a steady breath and focus on the one person, in this case lets focus on Wesley."

"But he's so far away will that still work?"

"Our magic shows no distance if he's really the one for you he will feel your call and he will respond to you."

"Okay, i'll try then."

I closed my eyes and focused on Wesley about everything we felt when we were together.

"Close your eyes reach out to him and call him, speak to him like he is right next to you."

"Wesley, are you there? Please answer me I need your help."

"Breathe in and out, remember he's far away so it may take a few more minutes before we do here a response."

"I feel like he is no longer alone, he found someone new. How would I know that mother."

She smiled up at me.

"You formed a bond withe Wesley so even if he found another. He has left a place in his heart for you and this gives you access to feel part of him."

"Since we know he is not my mate......what about Grayson?"

"Are you ready to know that truth?"

"Yes mother, I need to know."

"Okay, let's close our eyes as we concentrate on Grayson!"

I closed my eyes and focused on Grayson.

"Grayson, please I need you."

I didn't hear anything, I sighed. Just when I was giving up hope that he was my mate I heard a commotion.

BANG

BANG

GROWL

Just then the doors flung open, and in came Grayson looking around for danger.

"Sydney are you okay?"

I smiled at him, he came.

"Yes Grayson, I am fine."

"How did you know she needed you Grayson?" Mother asked.

He walked over and held my hand in his.

"I felt her near me and heard her tell me she needed me. I never felt that before but I knew I needed to find her and it didn't matter what got in my way."

"You found me Grayson."

He pulled me into his arms, I rested my head on his chest.

"I will always find you, my dear."

"So it seems you are in fact my daughter's MATE!" My mother stated.

"Yes ma'am."

"So she is the princess of this realm but you can not stay here. So my daughter you have a choice to make, either stay with your mate in the human realm or stay here in the fae world?"

"Are you really kicking me out if I choose my mate?"

My mother laughed.

"No my child, he can not stay here. Eventually he will get weak and die from not being a fae and living in our world. You can always come here as long as you wear my locket."

I looked towards Grayson and my mother. I had so many confusing statements.

"I......I just found you mother and this world. This is hard to have to make a decision or leave?"

I looked to Grayson with questioning eyes.

"I understand and I would never make you choose. I will go but just know I will never stop waiting for you." Grayson spoke.

Tears filled my eyes as he told me this. I couldn't live without him.

"Mother, I just can't...."

She cut me off.

"I understand my child, I love you and will always be here."

She came and hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"Just promise to visit me and if you have any questions about your powers I will be here."

I turned and looked to Grayson who was very confused.

I walked over to him and took his hands in mine.

"I have chosen to be with my MATE, if you so choose me. I do require time with my mother from time to time but I would like to come home with you as my MATE. What do you think?"

He stared into my eyes and he started to smile.

"I will always want you as my MATE. I am glad to bring you home to be my Luna and introduce you to our pack. You can visit your mother whenever you need as long as at the end you come home to me."

He moved my hair out of my face and tucked it behind my ears.

He then pulled me into his chest and rested his chin on my head, kissing the top of my head.

"So you have made your decision and I will respect your decision but I should give you some advice on being a fae. So the blue aura will not go away, any time you feel your life is in danger it will attack and will not stop. The brighter blue it is the more danger is coming. Now Grayson, you must know now that they will eventually come after her life for that blue aura. You must protect her at all costs. The aura has already choosen her protector.....Wesley."

I gasped.

"That's why I could sense him?"

"Yes that is why. He needs to know your okay but until you go back there he can't sense you."

"How am I supposed to be protected by an Alpha but live with my mate the Lycan?"

Grayson started laughing at all the information.

"What's so funny Grayson?"

"Oh sorry, you don't know yet. Lycan are powerful, when I started losing myself because I didn't have my mate I gave control to Alpha's of the werewolves. Now that you, my mate have been found control will be mine again. So you're protector Alpha Wesley will be under my ruling yet again. When we leave I will be taking control again but with you by my side this time bring all my Alpha's back under my control and guidance. We will live in peace again as I protect them all from the hunters and any other creature trying to kill us off."

I was in shock.....he was a Lycan who ruled all the werewolves.

"Oh my gosh, is that why the werewolves came out in the first place?"

Grayson laughed.

"Yes, unfortunately werewolves came out due to me not being there to guide them."

I looked back to my mother. She smiled at me.

"I told you my story but now I think it is time for you two to go home and live your story. I will have my guards take you back to the border."

"Thank you Mother."

She called her guards and they came in the room.

"I love you daughter and be safe."

We held eachother as we said goodbye.

The guards took us to the edge of fae world and waited while we entered the portal back into the human realm.
