Human Mates?

Sydney pov

I woke up the next morning just aching to shower my body.  I got up and with the sheet still around me walked over to the shower.  I turned it on to the warmest setting I could handle.  I dropped the sheet and climbed in.  Getting all the blood of my skin and out my hair but being careful with my head.  Didn't need to ruin the bandages the doctor put on.

I started singing in the shower as I scrubbed every inch of me.  I got out and saw him there staring at me.  He handed me the towel and I quickly covered my body.

"How long have you been standing there?"  I said angrily. 

"Long enough to see my beautiful mate!"

"I've been wanting to ask you about that. "

"Yes."

"I thought humans couldn't be mated with werewolves. So how would this work.  You need a werewolf because you're an Alpha."

I got closer to me and wrapped his arms around my body, he looked deep into my eyes.

"I honestly don't know how this will work.  Never knew anyone that this happened to but I can honestly say I don't want anyone else."

"That's just the mate bond.  You'll be better off with a werewolf. " I said softly.

"Maybe to someone else but I want you and I will wait forever for you if i need to."

He let go of me and started walking back to the room.

"I have a meeting to go to now but I brought you food up so make sure you eat, love."

My heart fluttered as he used my nickname.  I just loved when he called me it.

He walked over and kissed me softly on my lips then walked out.  I sat down on the bed and ate what he brought up.  I then got up and started looking for something to wear.  I found his t-shirt and slipped it on.  It smelled like him and I loved it.  I got back under the covers and just smelled his shirt as I drifted off to sleep again.

Wesley pov

After I brought Sydney home I had to make sure she was okay.  My anger was so bad I wanted to go back and kill.  He didn't deserve to live after what he did.

Victor found the doctor and came rushing to my room where I put her to lay.

"Here's the doctor, I got him as fast as I could." Said victor.

He looked so appalled by her looks not sure if it was because she was human or because she was beaten so badly.

"I am gonna approach the female now Alpha if you can't handle this i would step outside now."

"I'm fine just do your job!"

Victor came and stood next to me.  The doctor started pulling at her hair and clothes to get to wounds.  My fists tightened…..trying not to move as I wanted to go rip his throat out for touching her.

"Ahh no please don't!"

I rushed to her side and Victor pulled me back right before I reached the doctor.

A second later he was done.  He stood up and walked towards me but kept his distance. 

"Alpha, she has really bad brain damage.  Don't be surprised if she sleeps for weeks off and on.  No mating! She can't be touched for at least a month.  Her bruises will heal but she has nothing broken."

With that he bowed in respect and left quickly. 

That's when Victor spoke…."she's your mate isn't she Alpha?"

I froze, not sure how to answer.   I felt weak but I knew she was everything to me.

"Yes she is….. I tried pushing her away, letting her go but I can't. "

"She's human!  I didn't think it was possible. "

"I didn't think it was either but here she is.  I'll figure out when to tell the pack….I haven't told her yet.  She feels the pull but doesn't understand it."

"Okay Alpha!"

"Do me a favor and don't let anyone in here….I have to finish my meeting.  Not even my MOTHER!"

"Yes Alpha!"


Wesley pov

I went down into the conference room I knew the other alpha would still be there waiting for me.  

I walked in the room with my head held high.  He rose to his feet.

"Alpha, are you okay? There's blood on you?"

I looked down and noticed Sydney blood was all over me.  I didn't even realize. 

"I'm fine, thanks for your concern. Let's get down to business. "

We sat down at the table.  I reached for a snack and drink.  Then bowed my head for him to begin.

"Thank you for taking this meeting. "

I bowed to show respect. 

He continued…"We are getting our pups kidnapped."  He took a deep breath.   "I know human are aware of us and a lot don't care for our kind.  I just don't want to assume its humans and start something before i have proof."

"What do you need?"

"I need some help with the  investigation.  Mine have left me nowhere.  It could be rogues but one way or another I need to know."

I knodded my head.

"I will look into one would be good to send."

I stood up went to walk out the door.

"I'm sorry I made you wait so long."

He bowed his head back.

"Alpha duties can pull us away sometimes!"

"Yes." And with that i walked out the door.  I saw one of the pack members that set up the room.

"Hey, I need you to find a room for the Alpha for the night."

"Yes Alpha!" He walked away immediately. 

Just then my mother walked by.

"Wesley, what happened???"

She looked worried then I remembered Sydney blood was all over my shirt.

"Don't worry mother it's not mine."

"Good but then….."

"Don't worry I took care of what I needed to."

She looked at me skeptical then kissed me on the check.

"Go change before everyone thinks you're on a killing spree. "

I laughed..

"Okay mother."
