Sydney pov

I woke up in Grayson arms holding me tight to him. Like he was afraid I was going to run in his sleep. I never gave him a reason to believe I would run since we became mates......maybe it was a wolf thing. I started to think about meeting his parents yesterday it made me sad to know that he didn't tell them about me or the baby. I mean I know we have had a lot going on but when he told them about me why didn't he tell them I was pregnant.......was he hiding it. I thought he was happy about it but now I'm not so sure.

"Sydney, what's wrong?"

I paused and took a deep breath.

"Why didn't you tell your parents about the baby? I know why you didn't tell them about me.....we had a lot going on. But...."

I was cut off when Grayson spoke.

"Don't think I didn't want to tell them cupcake, it's just I wanted them to be surprised and they hadn't even seen you yet. I wanted them to be happy knowing you before all they saw was a baby. After they arrived I realized I should have just told them. It was my mistake please don't think I am not happy about our baby."

He smiled at me and kissed my cheek.

"So you are happy we are having a baby?"

"Yes, so happy."

I started crying.

He turned me over to face him and wiped my tears away. He kissed my cheeks then went to my forehead. He placed his hand on my belly and smiled at me. He held me in his arms for a few minutes before I decided to get up.

He groaned as I pulled out of his arms to get out of bed.

"Where are you going?"

"We do have company and I do want a better impression than yesterday."

He smiled at me.

"Alright dear."

We got up and showered and then got dressed.

As I was dressing he brought in some clothes.

"What are these?" I asked.

"I had some of the ladies go get you some pregnancy clothes. As much as I would love you to just wear my clothes all the time I know you want to look nice too."

I smiled at him. So happy he thought about me.

"Thank you so much!"

"Of course, my dear!"

He kissed the top of my head and left the room so I could change.

I walked out of the closet and saw Grayson sitting in a chair waiting for me. I smiled as I looked at him.

"I'm ready." I spoke.

He turned towards me and smiled.

"You look beautiful."

I blushed.

He got up and walked towards me and took my hand in his and guided me out the room and down the stairs.

We walked into the room, his parents were already at the table waiting for us.

We walked over and sat down at the table with them.

"Good morning you two love birds."

We all chuckled at her antics.

"Morning, mother." Grayson spoke.

She smiled at him.

"Well everyone eat before it gets cold." Grayson father spoke seriously.

Grayson started serving my plate and getting me a bunch of food. Once he was done he made his own plate. His parents just watched and smiled as they served themselves.

I thought this was the perfect time to tell them about myself.

"I would like to tell you a little about me if that is okay."

"Of course dear, we would love to hear anything you want to tell us." His mother said sweetly.

I took a deep breath and help Grayson's hand for support.

"I was living with my father and mother until a car accident took her life the year I moved into my own place for school. That is when I first met Wesley."

I smiled at Grayson as I remembered everything.

"Wesley, saved me on more than one occasion from evil men. My father gave my hand away to an evil man who beat me and Wesley showed up just in time to save my life. I soon moved in with Wesley as he protected me from everyone and I was very confused over everything."

His parents looked to Grayson confused by how we are together.

"One day Wesley, an alpha had to leave to help another alpha in another pack. After that I ran looking for who I really was and that is when I crossed Grayson territory. He came after me and I was scared that even when he caught me I escaped again."

Grayson laughed as he remember how it all started.

"Grayson followed me, I was looking for my mother........"

"Wait I'm confused, I thought you said she died in a car accident." His mother spoke.

"That is what I was lead to believe it was her escape. When I found my mother she told me she was a fae!"

They both gasped and looked to Grayson.

"I am princess of the faes. I spoke my mother was kidnapped and raped by my father, the head hunter."

The gasped again not sure what else to do.

"So I am now living here with my mate but I have communication with my mother. I do have some powers but not as much as living in the fae world."

"What about your father?" Grayson father spoke.

"HE IS DEAD!" Grayson spoke with authority.

"Good, we don't need his kind around."

"I am sorry you had to go through that dear." His mother spoke softly.

"Thank you, not many know I am half fae. We don't want anymore complications until after the baby is born."

They both smiled up at me.

"Thank you for telling us dear. We will do whatever you need to do." Grayson father spoke.

"Now......to change the subject. What are your plans for the luna ceremony?" His mother spoke.

"He told me a little about it but not much really."

We both looked at Grayson.

"What, I was trained for the Lycan role not the Luna role. That's why your here mother."

We both laughed at him.

The boys got up and cleaned the table while we moved to the couch to discuss the luna ceremony.

"So it's tradition to wear a specific dress but we might have to alter it a bit since your pregnant. So that's the first thing we should get working on to have them alter the dress so they will get your measurements...."

She kept going over all the details of the ceremony I felt overwhelmed with just the information. We spent all day going over the details and things that needed to change since I was a human and couldn't shift into a wolf.

Lunch was brought to us on the couch since we were still discussing all the details. Before I realized it night had fallen.

I got up and stretched as his mother and father went to the table. Grayson kissed my forehead.

"I am going to go out front to get some fresh air."

"Okay but don't go too far." Grayson replied.

I knodded my head and headed towards the door.

I walked outside and felt the nice cool air hit my face.

I didn't walk to far since I didn't know my way around yet.

"What are you doing out here Luna?" Caleb spoke.

I jumped in surprise.

"I needed fresh air."

"I get that, they probably overwhelmed you with all the luna ceremony details."

"Yes it was a lot to take in."

He smiled at me.

"Don't be long out here."

I knodded my head and he headed inside.

I just stood there breathing in the nice cool air.

Just then I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I couldn't make it out maybe it isn't there.

I started to head back inside when a sound caught my attention.

I turned around again and there stood a creature before that I had no idea what it was. He looked at me with dead red eyes.

"Who......who are you?"

He smiled evily at me.

"Looks like he left his mate alone.......too bad for him."

I stumbled backwards.

"What do you want with me?"

"I want your mate DEAD and his greatest weakness is YOU!"

He looked down at my belly and laughed.

"Your pregnant, this just got even better."

He laughed evily.

I turned to run and he grabbed roughly causing blood to trickle down my arm.

"Say goodnight."

I screamed as loud as I could praying someone would hear us before he took me to god knows where.

I couldn't let my baby be hurt.

He refrained my hands and covered my mouth and then picked me up.

I was kicking and screaming as much as I could but then he did something and I got sleepy. My head fell back behind me and before I passed out I saw Grayson and Caleb running out the door after me.
