My baby

Sydney pov

He laid me down in the forest near a tree. My head was spinning from the blood loss and from his super speed. He left me against the tree as everything was spinning. I closed my eyes hoping I could stop spinning. Then I felt it, a pressure in my head like someone was trying to speak to me.

"Syd, baby?"

"Grayson?" I spoke excitedly.

"Yes, it's me. Where are you?"

"We escaped from the witch we are right outside the forest edge in the dark. Hurry, I don't know how much time I have."

"Hold on Sydney! We are coming to get you."

Then the line went dead.

I knew something was coming and he needed to get here soon.

Then I felt the pain, I was hoping wouldn't happen. Not yet it can't be happening not now.

Lucifer walked back over to me.

"Sydney, what's wrong?"

I grabbed my stomach and screamed in pain.

"The baby!"

"No, no you can't have the baby here!"

He walked over to me and touched my belly gently.

"Sydney I can't leave you alone but I am afraid I won't be able to control myself if I stay."

"I trust you won't hurt my Lucifer.......ugh."

I screamed in so much pain. Then it happened my water broke.

"Sydney, your baby is coming and we don't have much time."

He helped get my in a good position to push as he looked into my eyes.

"Are you sure you want me to do this?"

"Yes Lucifer, please."

He reached up and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. He then helped undress my bottom half to have my baby.

His eyes flickered between lust and wanting to help me.

He regained composure as I let out a blood thirsty scream.

"Do you know what your doing Lucifer?"

"Yes, I used to be a doctor before I was turned. Now, I am going to check you to see how dilated you are and how the baby is positioned."

I nodded my head and laid there as I felt his hands checking me.

"Okay Sydney, your baby is ready to come. We are going to do one big push and I'll tell you when to stop....okay?"

"Okay."

"One, two, three, push."

I pushed down as hard as I could. I felt the heat in my face as I pushed as hard as I could.

"Okay, breathe."

I took a deep breathe as I waited for his next instructions.

"Okay, now we have one more push for your baby to be all the way out."

I nodded my head.

"One, two, three, push."

I pushed as hard as I could.

"Done.....your baby is out."

He took his shirt off and wrapped my baby in it. He smiled down at the baby.

As he handed me my baby he spoke.

"Congrats mommy, you have a baby boy."

Lucifer put the baby boy in my arms.

I looked up and saw him fighting between lust and hunger. I hoped this wouldn't be the ending.

He snarled at me as he was losing control. I could smell all the blood and don't know what was going to happen.

He lunged at me and started biting my thigh and licking up blood.

Just when I thought I was going to die from blood loss he stopped.

I saw him stand up and then he was pinned against the tree.

"Grayson..." I barely spoke his name.

"Sydney..."

I saw Lucifer being held by others as he came over to me.

I had a blanket and covered me up.

"Don't kill Lucifer!" I said softly.

He looked at me confused.

"Please."

He nodded his head and turned to Wesley.

Grayson pov

"Take him with us, don't kill him until Sydney is better and we know more."

"Sure thing." Wesley responded.

He got on the phone to get him in the car out of sun light so he wouldn't be killed.

I turned my attention back to Sydney

Then I noticed she wasn't alone. She was holding a baby in her arms.

"Sydney is that our baby....."

"BOY." she spoke.

I smiled at her brightly.

"Let's get you two home."

I took the baby out of her arms and then noticed how weak she was.

"Annabelle."

"Yes." she replied.

"Hold my baby boy, and do not let anyone touch or harm him."

Aubrey jumped in front of Annabelle.

"Not a good idea Grayson, I will explain later. I will take care of your baby and make sure no harm comes of him."

I looked at them confused.

"You will explain when we are home and after Sydney is settled."

"Yes sir." Aubrey replied.

I handed her the baby and turned my attention back to Sydney.

I leaned down and could feel she was weak.

"Sydney, I am going to pick you up and get you to the doctor."

She nodded her head and I knew she was getting weaker.

The car arrived just in time for everyone to get in. I took Sydney and the baby in one car and Lucifer and the others went in the second car.

"To the doctors, as fast but as safe as you can."

The car took off and I took out my phone and text the doctor letting him know my mate and child are coming in and need urgent attention.

We drove as fast as we could and I prayed we would make it there before anything bad would happen to Sydney.

My baby was soundly sleeping with Aubrey, thankfully.

My worry was for Sydney, that she wouldn't make it before she had a chance to really bond with her child or share memories with me.
