Annabelle's Mother

Annabelle pov

I woke up to the smell of bacon in the air. Licking my lips, at the juicy bacon. I slowly opened my eyes and getting up and getting out of bed to stretch my body. Wesley smiled up at me as he watched me stretching.

"Good Morning beautiful."

I grinned and blushed at his statement and turned my face from him.

He got out of bed and was behind me pulling me to face me.

I looked up into his eyes as he put his hand on my shoulder and inhaled my scent.

I giggled and pushed him away.

"Come on Wesley, let's go have breakfast."

We made our way to the kitchen.

"See, I told you bacon would bring them to the kitchen." My aunt said.

My mom knodded her head and started laughing.

"Well, in my defense who would pass up bacon!"

That made everyone laugh at my statement.

"Well come sit, breakfast is ready." My mother said pointing to the table filled with delicious breakfast items including bacon.

We walked over and Wesley pulled out my chair and then sat down next to me.

We started dishing our plates and eating. I was starving and I loved my bacon.

We had light conversation about the town and how little it has changed since I last was there.

I finished my food and we all got up and started gathering up dishes and putting whatever was left away.

We walked to the livingroom when we were done and sat down.

My mother started the conversation.

"So Annabelle, tell me more about Sydney."

I gulped not really sure how much I could tell them.

"Well, I told you about the baby and you already guessed she's a Fae......what else do you need to know?"

"Well tell us everything."

"I can't......it's not my story to tell. She will tell you when it's time until then you just need to trust she is good."

My aunt stood up and lookeed at me.

"If she was so good....her blood line wouldn't be cursed. Even if it wasn't her, her blood same thing."

I stood up and looked back at her in the eyes.

"So I will become a hunter ready to kill all......it's in my blood line! I may not have known a lot but I do know she's a good person and if your not willing to help me then I wasted my time."

I turned around to Wesley.

"Let's go, we wasted our time. We will figure another way to help her."

Wesley stood and got up and took my hand in his as we headed to the door.

"Stop.....We will help you Annabelle. If we go and she is not good after all then we will leave with no regrets!" My aunt replied.

I turned and looked them in the face.

"That's all I'm asking for is a chance."

She knodded her head at me.

"Shall we go?" Wesley spoke sweetly.

My aunt knodded.

"Yes."

We headed out and walked back to my old house as I looked at how run down it looked as we passed it back to the car we had waiting for us.

We all piled in the car and once we were all inside Wesley spoke to the driver.

"Head home now."

The driver knodded his head as the car started up to go back home.

Wasn't sure what would happen when we got home but I hoped everything would be fine and they could help Sydney.

-------------------------

Hours later we arrived back at the pack house.

We pulled up and Wesley got out then helped me out before he helped my mom and aunt out too.

I looked up at the pack house that was now my home and smiled.

"Welcome home my dear." Wesley whispered in my ear.

We headed towards the steps when Sydney and Grayson walked out and smiled at us.

"We heard you were coming." Grayson said.

I looked towards Sydney and her smile was fading as she looked at my mother and aunt.

I turned to my mother and there faces were stone hard.

Before I could turn around again Wesley pushed me behind him and started growling in fear as Sydney glowed blue.

Grayson was whispering something to Sydney but we couldn't hear from where we were.

I looked towards my mother as she and my aunt joined hands, they were chanting. Suddenly a bubble appeared around them.

Sydney blue shot out at them but stopped right in front of them.

We all had wide eyes as we saw what happened, how it didn't touch them at all!

I walked in front of Wesley as he held me from behind.

"Mother."

She opened her eyes and looked towards us. She stopped chanting and turned around to face Sydney.

"You must be Sydney!" My mother said harshly.

"I am, and you are not here to help me!"

My mother turned to look at me then spoke.

"We have not decided yet."

"Why come then?"

"We wanted to see if the curse was worth breaking!"

I took a deep breathe as I walked towards Sydney with Wesley right behind me.

Once I reached her side I spoke.

"She is worth protecting, she has been through a lot and still helped everyone. If you don't want to then your not welcome here!"

"My daughter...."

"You lost your daughter years ago. These people here are my family and that's who I will protect."

They looked at me in shock and turned to face each other before knodded there head at each other.

"Would you like to hear the story about the curse, Sydney?"

"Sure." Sydney responded.

"Well let's take this inside in the livingroom, and get a little more comfortable. Shall we?" Grayson spoke with authority.

We all knodded and turned to go inside. My mother and aunt the last to come in.

They sat down as far away from us as possible.

"Well tell us the story." I said impatiently.

My mother shook her head in response.

"This story was told to us and has been passed down for generations, next sure exactly what year it happen but it was many years ago. Our mother was told this story from her mother.

It happened when a Fae fell in love with a werewolf. Not just any fae but a royal fae, princess to be exact. She came out of her world and fell in love with a werewolf. We don't know exactly what happened but the werewolf was dating a witch at the time. When he found the fae he dropped the witch on the spot...."

"It must have been the werewolves mate." I spoke.

"Maybe but that is what started all this. The witch was devasted when she went to meet him and found him kissing another woman. She ran away in shock of what she saw. She went to the stream to calm down and that is where he found her. He told her he found his true love and would no longer be with her. She got angry and pushed him in the water. He tried to calm her down but failed. Eventually he won and left her there next to the river like nothing happened. She went back to her coven and spoke to her leaders so she could find a way to harm him. At first they didn't agree with what she wanted done as time went on they knew he needed to be punished. They decided they would punish him by hurting her. They figured if she was barren he would reject her and then he would be miserable as well as her. So they cursed her line so the baby would grow but when ready they baby would be attacked from the inside and die. This went on for some time as they watched from a far her children being taken from her right before the end. She cried and kept pushing him away until she couldn't anymore. When we thought that she would leave him they were surprised.......she went home and he followed her after she left. She some time later came back with a baby and we thought the curse broke somehow. Every generation gave birth to there child in the fae land so we thought it ended the curse with that line. Until your mother Sydney! When she was kidnapped and got pregnant with you, we don't know how but it started the curse again in your blood line."

"So does that mean I have to go back to the fae world to have my baby?"

"Unfortunately we won't know.....we will need to discuss it with a seer and consult our magic to see what the outcome could be. Unfortunately, we don't know of any seers anymore."

"I am here." Wesley's mother spoke.

We all turned our heads to her as she spoke.

My mothers mouth dropped as she looked at Wesley's mother.

She got up and walked over to her and they held eachother.

"I thought I would never see you again after.........he died."

She laughed.

"My brother best friend chose his path, mine was always leading to this moment........to bring all the sides back together."

We all gasped as we heard what she said.

My father was knew her brother......that means she knew my father too.

"Now I think we should all rest we will need it to focus tomorrow. Have someone show them to a room. Sydney, no more stress my child we will get it straightened out. We will let you know what we find out later."

We all knodded at Wesley's mother and headed to our separate rooms.
