Chapter 57 Tell
"Annika, your child oh! You're ready Gale, your mom has a stick!" Keus's voice echoed, I stood up on the sofa and frowned at the large window.
I could clearly see Gale stopping, running and biting the nail looking to the right where the main door was. It coughed slightly and quickly approached Keus.
"Annika oh!" threat of Keus, here.
Everyone sitting on the sofa turned to look at the entrance to the living room, Keus and Gale appeared there, rushing to enter the living room. I intentionally cooled my gaze to the child pinching the little fingers.
"I'm just chasing what Uncle Martin is flying, mama," he explained then wiped his eyes that were already wet.
"Why are you crying if you're just chasing it?" I asked then it hugged me.
I heard its faint cry which Keus was obviously intimidated by. I was just shaken because of the laughter of others and then took the bimpo that papa was handing me. I could feel the back of it soaked in sweat so he often sneezed.
"How many times have I told you that you shouldn't remove the bimpo from behind you? Huh? Then after you run and getting sweat, you're getting inside here? Then what happen next?"
"Cough," he replied politely then I removed it from my embrace.
"It's okay to play outside, but make sure to bring this towel."
"I'm sorry," he said weakly staring into my eyes.
I just shook my head because I knew he would do it again. It left its gaze on me because of the entry of Veron and Zafia's children. The cousin.
"I'll just go upstairs. Don't come with me anymore," I whispered to my son who was sitting in my seat.
"Where are you going?" asked Van, sitting on the lap of his grandfather Uncle Zack.
"In secret room," I winked as he snapped. I left them talking and then went upstairs.
"Will you clean up?" voice coming from behind me, causing me to stop climbing.
"Yes," I replied to someone I hadn't seen in almost five years and three years I hadn't spoken to.
It still followed me and I stared at it intently. "I'll change his dress, maybe you want to go out?" I raised my eyebrows and promised that she would laugh and then come out.
"Happy birthday," I whispered then picked up the bimpo and sat slightly down next to it.
It was almost normal for me to talk to Zeke's body, which had been lying in this bed for three years. And the only one that answers me is the machine that has also been next to him for three years.
"You're 34, you have no plans to wake up yet?" I asked in the middle of removing his top.
I could clearly see the scars on its body that I could say had healed. I slowly put the thin patient dress on him. When I changed everything down to his lower back, I then applied medicine to the scars left on his face.
"What story do you want me to tell you? Hmm, about your son? Other matter? Well, you would have been your brother's bestman at the wedding, but then, he chose Keus, Nadia is the name of.his daughter, your nephew. And about Gale, I plan to send him to school, he also knows how to write and read, he's just a little lame. Did you know? Here he is next to you sleeping whenever I am away. He wakes up in the morning to wipe you with a bimpo, he always sings you the sad song you sing to me." I stood up slightly then combed his black hair, arranged his pillow and blanket.
I stared even harder at my wife's face. Gradually, as the skin returned to normal, the scars began to heal. I'll just wait for him to wake up, and get to know me. I will never forget what her doctor told me before that she had little chance of survival. But if he survives his memory could be affected. He's comatose for almost three years. So great a miracle happened then.
When I first saw him in an empty room he was gone, he was covered with a white blanket and ready to be put in the morgue, but in the middle of my visit to him his body was shaking, which is why the doctors said that he was still alive and the heartbeat had temporarily stopped. But he hasn't woken up since. She did not see her son how to walk, talk, and take care of him. He did not see.
"Wherever you are, I just want to say that your son and I are fine. Help me explain everything to him. Guide your son, Zeke," I said tearfully then lay on his chest.
Simultaneously with his deep breathing was the repeated sound of the machine. I just kept closing my eyes because of what Keus told me, back then.
["There's no guarantee that Zeke will wake up. There are comatose people who take years and also lose their lives. Only a few survive like this. Think about it, Annika. You could run out of money and there's no certainty if he'll wake up."]
I just smiled bitterly because I begged Zeke's mother. They just wanted to get rid of the machine, but I calmed down. I do not want. I knew he would come back. I don't care if I run out of savings. I could work all day to get back the money I lost. There is only one Zeke in the world.
"You're just alone."
