Chapter seventeen

Astrid's pov
I was worried, Emma didn't come to school too and Noah didn't come as well. What's going on? I think I like Emma, she is really pretty and there's something special about that. Lucas is the only challenge I have. He almost killed me the last time because I said somethings about him to Emma. I avoided him today though, he is so strong. "Hey, what are you thinking about?" Kelly said and handed me a bottle of beer.

"I'm thinking about Emma, there's something special about that girl",I replied. " I can feel it too",he agreed. "Wait, Kelly do you think this girl is Lucas's mate?" I asked and all of a sudden. Everything clicked, she could be his mate.

"Are you sure? I don't think so from what I gathered they are enemies and they don't like each other",he said. " It doesn't matter, Kelly. You can be enemies with your mate, no one cares. There's this strong aura around her, my dad said Lucas's mate is a special being",I uttered feeling so happy. " We have to tell your dad about it then",Kelly said. " Pack some clothes, we are going to the pack",I ordered.

" Yes prince",he said and went inside. The journey to the pack was two hours, Kelly drove all the way. We went straight to the pack house where my dad's office is located. "Alpha",I said with a bow as I entered his offfice. My father prefers me to call him alpha to calling him dad.

"Astrid, I was about to call you. Your uncle is missing",he said and I rolled my eyes. " I don't like it when you call him my uncle. I don't know where Noah is",I shrugged. "Then where he could he be? You know what never mind. I will send my men to look for him. Why are you here?",he raised a curious brow." I think I found Lucas's mate",I replied and my father gasped. " You did? When? How? Who is she?" he asked impatiently.

" Her name is Emma. She is very beautiful and there's something that draws me close to her. She has the strong aura like a powerful being. She and Lucas are enemies though but i think he cares about her. I thought about it and I concluded that Emma is Lucas's mate",I explained and my father grinned.

" Excellent, does Lucas know? Did you see any signs of him getting close to her",he asked and I shook my head. " I mentioned earlier that she and Lucas are enemies. They don't like each other",I replied. " Did you make friends with this same girl?" he asked again. " Yes, I did. The moment I set my eyes on her. I was blown away by her beauty, dad. I can't wait to mate her and make her mine",I said with excitement.

" She will be yours and she will be the future Luna of this pack. She will reign with you and we will become so powerful. We will destroy the whole blackwood pack and they will be at our mercy",dad said and laughed as he rubbed his hands together. "Yes dad",I agreed. "Come here son, you've made me proud. I'm proud to be your father, thank you for saving the future of this pack",he said with a smile and hugged me.

This is the first time my dad will give me a hug. He is so excited and I'm happy too. "We need to celebrate this but before we do that. I will give you a necklace for you to give Emma. When you give it to her, tell her to use the necklace immediately. Observe the necklace if it glows then she is Lucas's true mate and the special being we have been looking for",he explained and I nodded. He opened his safe and he brought out a box. He gave the box to me, I opened it.

"This is so beautiful",I said in awe. It's a diamond necklace with a heart pendant. The pendant colour is green. "It is a special necklace. It is for special people. Don't forget, if it glows when she puts it on that means she is his mate. You must call me and tell me the result", he reminded me.

" Yes dad",I nodded. " Okay run along and go tell your mother about the news. She will be so excited, I can't wait to see the end of blackwood pack",he giggled. I'm glad about this development. "We will be so powerful",Lin(my wolf) said in my head with excitement and I chuckled. "Hey Prince, what's up?",Kelly asked me. "He was so excited. He gave me this necklace to give her when it glows it means she is the one",I explained briefly and he smiled. " This is good. Your days to be crowned alpha is near",he teased and I laughed.

" I have a question though",kelly said. I nodded and placed the necklace carefully in my bag. "How are we going to get her? I mean she may not want to accept you. She may even like Lucas",he asked worriedly." Kelly, that's not an issue. I will make her fall in love with me. When she does i will explain to her and I'm sure she will accept",I replied. " What if she doesn't like you? Or want to date you?" he asked again and I frowned.

"Then we will do it the hard way. I will mate with her without her consent and mark her as mine. The moment I have sex with her, I become more powerful and unstoppable",I grinned. "Okay then, problem solved",he smiled.

"Yes problem solved bro. We have to celebrate tonight before going back to the city", I winked and he nodded. " I will get some girls for you to chill with",he smirked and I laughed. "Thank you. It's been a while since i did it. Get me the girls, I need to blow off some steam",I said. " You are a bad boy, prince. A real bad boy",he smirked. "Gotta enjoy life while it lasts",I said and he chuckled as he walked away. I shook my head and sighed feeling content that I made my father proud.
