Chapter twenty one

Lucas's pov
"Can I kiss you?" I blurted out before I could stop myself and Emma gasped in shock. "Gosh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it",I said, am already panicking and sweating. " You didn't mean what? You just asked if you can kiss me",Emma said, her face flushed. I don't know how to go about it, that's why I thought about asking her and I ended up saying it out loud.

"Lucas",she called my name, I just stared at my shoes because I was nervous to look into her eyes. "Do you really want to kiss me or you are just joking?" she asked. " I want to",I replied in a low voice. "Look at me",she ordered and I look into her eyes.

Her eyes were glowing like a diamond. Her cheeks were red, her lips pink and inviting. I can't believe this is happening. I used to hate her now I'm here asking her to kiss me. "Have you kissed a girl before?" she raised her brow curiously. "No, I haven't kissed anyone", I replied feeling shy.

" I will agree to kiss you not because I like you but as a thank you for what you did",she said. Oh wow! She agreed, thank goodness. I can't wait to know who this girl is to me. I sat on the couch and was tapping my feet on the floor. I don't know how to make the first move and I don't want to be too forward.

As if she knew what I was thinking. She pulled me up and pulled me closer to her. We were now facing each other, my face near hers. She wrapped her arms round my neck. My body shivered from the contact of her skin on mine. She smells heavenly, I can't believe this is happening. "Wrap your arms round my waist",she whispered and I did. She was so soft and fragile in my arms.

I could feel her breath on my face. "You are beautiful, Emma",I whispered into her ear and she made a sound like a groan. Did she just moan? "Kiss me",she said in a low raspy voice. I don't even know where the confidence came from. I kissed her, I kissed Emma star.

The moment my lips touched hers, I almost went crazy. Her lips were soft and they taste like strawberry. When kissing, I pulled her closer to me and she moaned. When she did my tongue went into her mouth and we kissed using our tongues. I was so lost that I forgot the reason why I was kissing her. We kissed for like some minutes but I didn't hear any voice. "Lucas..",she managed to say between the kiss and I pulled away.

I was breathing heavily for air and she was doing the same thing. "Your thing is standing",she whispered and I was confused. "My what?",I asked her and she chuckled pointing to my trousers. I looked down at my crotch area and gasped feeling so embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry, I will see you later",I said and covered it as I ran to the bathroom. My dick was so hard, she got me real good. I thought about the way we kissed, it was the best. But I was disappointed, I didn't hear any voice in my head. Emma is not my mate. I spent twenty minutes in the bathroom thinking about irritating things so that my boner will go down and it finally did.

"Hey bro",Chris said as he entered my room. I was sitting on the bed feeling so sad. "You guys kissed real good huh? I saw her, her lips was swollen and her cheeks red",he winked. " Is she still here?" I asked. "Yes, she is with Eva and they are discussing",he replied. " So what's up? Did you hear any voice?",he asked and I shook my head.

"She is not my mate. We kissed for five minutes and I didn't hear a voice",I said sadly. " Are you sure it was a deep kiss?" Chris asked." Yes, it was. I even got a boner from the kiss",I replied with a groan. "Did you like it? Do you wish to do it again?" Chris raised a curious brow. " Yes, I liked it. She even encouraged me, she gave me the confidence. She pulled me up and wrapped her arms round my neck, Chris. I'm so disappointed that she is not my mate.

Now I have to be looking else where for another girl",I complained. " Seems like you are starting to like Emma",he said and I agreed. " She is cool, you know what I did. I just asked to her kiss me and she agreed",I said. "I'm so sad, I thought she is your mate. I'm so sorry, bro",Chris said and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks man",I gave him a smile. "You have to go meet her now and take her home", Chris suggested and I nodded. I grabbed my keys and walked with Chris to the sitting room. The girls were talking and laughing when we go there. "Lucas, I was waiting for you. I'm ready to go home, my sister has been calling me non stop",Emma said. I looked at her, she just acted as if nothing happened between us.

She is good at masking up her feelings, I don't even know what's going on in her head. "Okay, I will take you home",I said and walked towards the door." Bye Eva, see you tomorrow",she gave Eva a hug and waved bye to Chris. I opened the car door for her and went back to the driver's seat.

"Are you okay?",she asked me as I drove after five minutes of awkward silence in the car. "Yes, I'm fine",I replied, I'm going through a lot of emotions right now. I'm sad, flustered, disappointed, happy, it's really crazy. I parked my car in front of her house when we got there. "Should I walk you to the door?"I asked her and she shrugged. I know a lot of things is going on in her head.

I didn't talk about the kiss and she didn't as well. "Thank you for today",I said when we got to her door. "Thank you for what?",she raised a brow and I knew she was teasing me. "The kiss",I whispered and she chuckled. "You asked for it and I decided to grant your wish. That doesn't mean I like you or I enjoyed the kiss",she said and I rolled my eyes.

" Don't be an arrogant liar. You enjoyed the kiss and you moaned, Emma. I don't like you either",I said and she smirked. " You sure you are not catching feelings huh? Your boner said other wise earlier",she teased and I groaned. " It's called sexual desire not catching feelings, dummy",I corrected her. She looked at me, her back was on the door while I was facing her.

I stared at her lips and I really wanted to kiss her again but I couldn't. I don't have that confidence anymore. "I have to go",she whispered and gave me a peck on my lips. She pushed me away from her gently and opened the door. She entered and closed it back. I touched my lips.. why did she kiss me again.

She better not be catching feelings because nothing can happen between us. I walked to my car and I started feeling dizzy all of a sudden. "Mate mate mate",I heard a voice in my head say.
