Nostalgic

Ashina POV

Estel left few minutes later, turned out Alpha lobo also wanted to retire from the charade of the people, and hide in the room like I had just done, I didn’t protest, I just gave way so he could climb on the bed and eventually sleep off.


His scent made me nostalgic, and honestly, I could not take it even for a moment, since he wasn’t grumpy, and overly dominant, I chose to excuse myself.


I left the room , in search of a cool spot to rest my mind, and hopefully sleep for maybe an hour or two, before he comes around to plague my existence.


“Sister!” I heard Meera’s voice from behind, making me turn hurriedly.


Her cheerful self had no care in the world if everyone in the park was sad, or gloomy, she just laughed all the way all through the aisle then forcefully hugged me, her graceful scent had been dented by that of lobo, and now I felt a lot more nauseous but her oblivious mind didn’t let her know why I was scooting away.


“Oh Meera, I feel a little bit ill” I complained, but she held my cheeks with both her palm, simultaneously placing kiss on both side of my cheeks, it was something she would always do when she wanted to ask for a Favour.


“What is it Meera, you can’t have my clothes, I just bought new clothes and you took the old ones, please let me enjoy them while I still can” I said.


“No, not that, you are quick to judge” she pulled away, her hands clasped together immediately as she went on her knees.

“I want to stay for one month, please please, don’t say no, Alpha Lobo already told me no, and I can’t bear another rejection from you, please Anisha, please!”


Confused, I asked again, “Lobo?, why would he tell you no?”


He has never said ‘no’ to Meera since we got mated, so I was taken aback by the new development.


“Yes, he said I shouldn’t stay anymore, I don’t want to see mom and dad, they would pressure me into finding a mate, I don’t want that, u am very comfortable here” she continued.


“And, maybe I might have a chance with zeeb, but I can’t make our relationship work if I don’t spend time at least”

It wasn’t a bad idea to have Meera stay over, but there was one thing I had to consider.


Meera had been caught up in the park’s activity and when she was done I could swear on my life, she would be back to pestering me.


She might be more engulfed in my life, and then she gets to see the dark part of my marriage.

I didn’t want that, she still saw lobo had the perfect man for her elder sister, and I wanted it to be that way, I wanted her to still see him in that light, but if she stayed long enough, it would be almost inevitable to stop her from seeing the other side of the man she adored.



“I don’t know Meera, if lobo said you should leave, maybe you should, you know mom and dad must be looking for you”



“Anisha, not you please!, I don’t want to go, I want to stay with you, I came to look for you, I came because I missed my older sister, but now you push me away like the rest”


Now she was toying with my feelings, and it was working.


“Meera, please see it from my point of view,”

“No!, I want to stay, please help me beg your husband please, Anisha, please”


Fear gripped my mind, I wouldn’t dare speak to Lobo, talk more of striking a conversation to contradict his words, he wouldn’t strike me down with a slap.


“Please Anisha, he will listen to you”


No he wouldn’t, he would beat me, he would reclaim me, he would force himself on me, that’s what he would do.


“Just tell him” she stood then pulled me by my arms, forcefully dragging me back to my room.


“Meera, please stop”


Her grip was stronger than mine, unlike most Luna who would train along side the Alpha I wasn’t given that opportunity, I was focused on healing, while Meera took fighting classes, so it was only natural for her grip to be tighter and her her will almost automatic.


In a jiffy I was standing at the door to my room, my heart racing like I had just partaken in a race.


“Meera, please don’t”


She pushed the door open then shoved me inside.


‘Oh shit’


“Alpha lobo, Ashina wants to tell you something” she said, lobo was still on the bed, and our intrusion had woken him up, I feared for my life the moment he moved, and now I was completely crippled, his dark heavy eye stared at him in dismay, then narrowed towards Meera.


“What is it?” He asked.


“Uhm I” I stuttered.


“Ashina just wanted to tel you that she allowed me to stay for the month”


“Meera, I said no such thing”


“Stop it Ashina, please, please!” she begged.


Looking at lobo, his judging eyes set like glue on my body, in a mindlink I could hear his growl of dissatisfaction.


“Meera” I began to tremble.

“Fine” lobo said.


“If my wife says you can stay, then you are free to stay how long you want”


Just like I suspected, he would rather die than tell her No to her face and now I was left to do it for him.


“Yah!, you see, I love you Alpha lobo, I love you Anisha” she kissed me playfully then ran to the bed where she hugged him before joyfully running out of the room.


I was left in there with lobo.


“So you go against my words now?, I know you think you are worth something in my life, but believe it or not, I will always be superior, I would always be there to remind who you owns you, now get out of the room, I don’t want nightmares”


“Thank you Alpha” I bowed before leaving, at least I made it out alive.
