Soft Perfume

Lobo POV

I woke up in a tangle of limbs, the scent of perfume and sweat thick in the air. The soft murmurs and satisfied sighs of the women around me filled the room. I let my eyes drift open, taking in the scene. Women of various shapes and sizes lay sprawled across the massive bed, their eyes glazed with the aftereffects of our night together. Some were still asleep, while others watched me with adoring eyes, eager for another round.

I stretched languidly, a smug smile playing on my lips. This was my domain, my kingdom. Here, I was the king, worshiped and desired. I pulled one of the women closer, her skin warm and inviting. Our lips met in a heated kiss, and soon the others joined in, their hands and mouths exploring my body.

As the morning wore on, the pleasure built until we reached the peak together, the room echoing with our cries of ecstasy. I lay back, catching my breath, basking in the satisfaction of my conquests. But before I could fully relax, the insistent ringing of my phone shattered the moment.

Annoyed, I pushed the women away and reached for the device. The name on the screen made me sit up: Rewa Park Leader. I answered the call, my voice rough with irritation.

"What is it?" I demanded.

"Lobo, it's important," came the voice on the other end. "Anisha is planning to overthrow you. And there's been a sudden appearance of Estel's son in the area."

My blood ran cold for a moment before the rage set in. "What do you mean?" I growled.

The man detailed the information he had gathered, his voice steady. When he finished, I took a deep breath, forcing myself to remain calm. "Thank you for the information. Meet me at the usual location later to receive your reward."

I ended the call, my mind racing. So, Anisha was making her move. And Estel's son—what was his role in all this? The anger simmered beneath the surface, threatening to erupt. I turned to the women, who were watching me with a mixture of curiosity and fear.

"Get out," I snapped. "All of you. Now."

They scrambled to obey, gathering their clothes and rushing out of the room. Once they were gone, I dressed quickly, my hands trembling with fury. I needed to clear my head, to think. But first, there was business to attend to.

I left the room and made my way to the guard wolf chambers. The wolves there straightened as I approached, their eyes wary. I barked an order for the man I had tasked with killing Estel's family to be brought to me. They moved quickly, dragging the man before me. He was trembling, his eyes wide with terror.

"Please, Lobo," he begged. "I did what you asked. Please, spare me."

I felt a cold smile curl my lips. "You failed. Estel's son is still alive, and now there's talk of rebellion."

He continued to beg, but his pleas fell on deaf ears. I struck him, the force of the blow sending him sprawling to the ground. I beat him mercilessly, each strike fueled by my anger and frustration. When I finally stepped back, my knuckles were bloodied, and the man lay unconscious at my feet.

"Burn him," I ordered. "And hang his family. Make sure everyone sees."

The guards moved to obey, dragging the man away. I followed them outside, watching as they carried out my orders. The smell of burning flesh filled the air, mingling with the cries of the man's family as they were hanged. I watched it all, a dark satisfaction settling in my chest. This was my justice, my retribution.

When it was over, I turned back to the guards. "Ensure the park is guarded by strong wolves. No one gets in or out without my permission."

One of the guards hesitated before speaking. "But, sir, there are no strong wolves left. You ordered them all killed."

The realization hit me like a punch to the gut. In my quest for power, I had eliminated those who could have protected me. I felt a moment of regret, but I quickly shoved it aside. Regret was a weakness I could not afford.

"Then find new ones," I snapped. "Train them if you have to. I want this park secure."

As I walked back to my chambers, my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. Anisha's rebellion, Estel's son, the lack of strong wolves—all of it weighed heavily on me. But I would not be defeated. I was Lobo, the king of this domain, and I would crush anyone who dared to challenge me.

Back in my chambers, I poured myself a drink, the burn of the alcohol a welcome distraction. I needed to think, to plan my next move. Anisha's defiance would not go unpunished, and neither would Estel's son. I would find a way to regain control, to ensure my power remained unchallenged.

As the sun set, casting long shadows across the room, I felt a renewed determination settle over me. I would not be brought down by those who sought to betray me. I would rise above them, stronger and more ruthless than ever.

Tomorrow, I would start my search for new allies, for those who could help me solidify my rule. And I would make sure that Anisha and her followers paid dearly for their insolence. The thought brought a grim smile to my lips. The game was far from over, and I intended to win.

As I sat there, my mind racing with plans and strategies, I couldn't shake the feeling of impending doom. But I pushed it aside, focusing on the here and now.

The night deepened, and I continued to sip my drink, the alcohol doing little to dull the edge of my anger. Thoughts of Anisha's betrayal and Estel's son gnawed at me. I couldn’t afford to show weakness, especially now.

Determined to regain control, I summoned my most trusted lieutenants. They arrived quickly, their expressions serious and attentive. These were the wolves who had stood by me through thick and thin, and now I needed them more than ever.

“We have a problem,” I began, my voice cold and commanding. “Anisha is plotting to overthrow me. Estel’s son has resurfaced, and we lack strong wolves to guard the park. We must act swiftly.”
