CHAPTER TWENTY _ FOUR
CHRIS
I was still confused about what to do when I sighted Tyson running into the school compound towards the moving van, my heart leapt for joy.
Tyson held the van from the front and it came to a halt. I was confident that Tyson would be able to save the students.
I rushed to Avril, Ariel was already with her when I got there.
"Avril?" I called her gently placing her head on my thigh.
Ariel was sobbing gently without uttering a word.
"She isn't healing, the bullet was poisoned", I said to Ariel.
"Is she going to die?" Ariel asked me.
"No. Someone that'd help her is here, I call him my saviour and hero, his name is Tyson", I said confidently.
Ariel raised his head and stared at Tyson in shock.
"Tyson", Ariel muttered.
"You know Tyson?" I asked Ariel.
"You know him? Ariel asked back.
We both smiled and nodded in unison.
Ariel and I carried Avril to the sick bay and lay her on the floor next to Daniel. Daniel was already sleeping by the time we got there.
I applied some ointment and fast-healing warewolf medicine on Avril's neck and back.
Avril's pulse came back, I could hear and feel her heart beating.
Avril moved her fingers then she coughed lightly.
"Her wounds are healing! The treatment worked!" Ariel shouted excitedly.
Avril stood up weakly, she was perfectly okay...
"Thank you so much my dear brother", Avril said and hugged Ariel.
"The bullet was poisoned and I thought you were going to die, thank God for Chris he was able to bring you back to life", Ariel said.
Avril turned to me with a smile.
"Thanks for saving my life", she said and hugged me.
"Where is Sally?" She asked after we disengaged from the hug.
"Sally is fine, everything is under control as Tyson is here", Ariel said and I nodded.
A light knock came on the door and Ariel rushed to see who it was.
"Tyson!" Ariel shouted excitedly and hugged Tyson tightly.
"What happened you are injured?" Ariel asked.
"Don't worry it'd heal", he replied and walked into the seat with us.
"I captured them all and called the corps, they all have been arrested", Tyson said and we all sighed.
Andrew joined us in the room, and we chatted and laughed excitedly, it wasn't long before Daniel woke up and joined us.
I introduced Tyson as the warewolf who rescued me on the day I was bitten. I was very young then but still recognized Tyson whenever I saw him.
I have seen him on two different occasions after the bite.
Ariel also introduced Tyson as his friend...
This world is indeed a small world, who would have known that Ariel and I shared a mutual friend?
I called him a friend although he was more than a friend, he was always there to rescue me whenever I was in danger.
He rescued me for the first time at age four, age six and age eleven respectively.
Lots of students were injured, and Tyson and I later went to treat them.

AVRIL
The earlier incident was still fresh in my memory, I was terrified and couldn't get it off my mind. It was giving me goosebumps and making me panic at the slightest sound.
I couldn't help but wonder why they decided to attack the school. Mom and dad were over-excited to see us, they were glad that no harm came to us.
Again I had to sleep in Jumai's room since I couldn't stay alone due to the panic attack I was having.
The next day was Jumai's party and she had to stay up all night to ensure I was okay.

Invited guests started arriving at our place as early as 9: am
Chris and his parents weren't left behind as they also came in a few minutes after nine o'clock.
"Hi Chris", I said walking up to him.
"Hello Avril", he replied wearing a grin.
"I want us to talk, please?" I said.
"Sure", Chris replied stretching his hands towards mine, I took it with a smile and we both walked upstairs to my room.
"Your room is looking more beautiful today, just like you", he complimented.
"Thank you", I said and sat on the bed, Chris sat beside me.
I cleared my throat and exhaled deeply.
"I am sorry Chris, I am sorry for everything", I said.
"I am sorry as well, I spoke to you harshly and hurt your feelings", he replied and I shook my head.
"Do you still want to end the werewolves? Even after what happened yesterday? The humans were the ones killing each other and who saved them?" Chris asked peering into my face.
I inhaled and exhaled deeply before giving a reply.
"I was wrong about the werewolves, you and Tyson have proved that truly not all werewolves are evil, even the human hearts are evil as well and they killed each other, if not for you and Tyson who would have saved the school and treated the injured kids?" I asked not expecting a reply, Chris smiled and squeezed my fingers gently.
Chris moved his lips closer to mine and I closed my eyes.
I felt his lips on mine, he started kissing and caressing my body gently.
I felt his left hand grab my ass while his right hand caressed my left boobs...
He was devouring my lips greedily and rubbing his hands all over my body, he pecked my forehead, kissed my neck and then he grabbed my lips again kissing it roughly.
he pushed me onto the bed still kissing and caressing my whole body.
"Stop!!" I said pushing him gently away from me.
He ignored me and continued kissing and caressing my whole body.
"Chris, Chris, stop... Please just stop, I can't do this", I said pulling him away from me.
"Do what? Kiss me?" He asked me with a grin.
"That was way more than kissing", I said.
Chris stared at me for a moment without uttering a word, after seconds of staring at me he chuckled.
"What's funny?" I asked him a bit shy and embarrassed.
"I know what you're thinking but I am not gout to have sex with you without your permission, I was only trying to make out with you", he replied and I rolled my eyes.
I was feeling more nervous and awkward, I didn't like the way Chris was staring at me and smiling.
"Why do you always do that?" He asked still staring and smiling.
"Do what?" I asked back adjusting my dress.
"Roll your eyes like this", Chris replied trying to roll his eyes like mine... The sight was too funny that I burst out in a loud approach of laughter.
The sight of Chris rolling his eyes was so funny he looked like a 3-year-old troubling her younger sibling.
"Why? I didn't do it, right? Okay is it this way? Or this way or this way?" He asked rolling his eyes in different ways.
I was laughing my ribs off, my throat and rib started hurting as a result of laughing for too long.
"Stop, stop, Chris you're going to choke me from laughing", I said covering his eyes so he would stop rolling them.
Chris grabbed my arm and started kissing me again.
"Chris, Chris, Chris", I called into his mouth, he didn't give me any breathing space.
"What?" He asked after letting go of me.
"You must be addicted to kissing", I said and Chris chuckled.
"This is just the beginning, you haven't seen anything yet", Chris replied and I punched him.
Chris was about to kiss me again when we heard a knock on the door. We exchanged glances and chuckled lightly.
"Who is there?" I asked and Chris chuckled, I elbowed his right arm and he groaned in pain.
"It's Shelly, you both have been asked to come downstairs for the party has already started", she said and we heard her footsteps walking downstairs.
"Lazy ass", I muttered turning to Chris.
"Let's go", I stood up dragging Chris along with me.
"One last kiss", Chris said bringing his lips closer to mine, I slapped him softly and he smiled.
We both ran downstairs, truly the party had already started.
We exchanged glances and chuckled.
Chris and I took our seats beside Ariel, he had no facial expressions and I couldn't read his emotions. I wanted to confirm if he was still angry at Chris but he didn't show any facial expressions.
Jumai had already finished her speech and was walking down the stage when I and Chris walked in. The whole crowd were clapping for Jumai, Chris and I also joined them even though we didn't hear the speech.
I stared at Chris and we both laughed at our actions.
I was smiling gracefully from my seat as dad walked up the stage to give his speech, something crossed my mind immediately making my heart skip...
I turned to Chris, he was staring at dad wearing a very beautiful smile. I wished I could drag him to me and kiss him so passionately but there was still one thing.
