Missing Jumai's company.
CHAPTER THIRTY ONE
CHRIS
We turned around to our greatest shock it was Tyson.
He ran up to us and apologized for the way he talked to us.
"I am sorry guys, I was only being unreasonable.. let's go back to my house and talk about this", Tyson said and we smiled.
The four of us returned to Tyson's house happily.
"Before talking about peace we have to be at peace with each other first", Avril said and we agreed.
"First we have to do the apology part", she added.
"I'm sorry for troubling you all", I apologized
"I'm also sorry for troubling you", Ariel apologized...
"I'm sorry for being strong-headed", Tyson apologized and we laughed.
"Group hug?" I asked and we all hugged each other.
"Now let's talk business", Tyson said taking his sit.
"Where do we start?" Ariel asked as the three of us sat on the same bench we sat on earlier.
"We just have to prove to the world beyond reasonable doubt that werewolves are not evil, and we can Coexist with each other", I said and they smiled at the brilliant idea.
"How do we go about that?" Tyson asked.
"How about we sketch a plan? Something like, we launch an attack and save humans. They'd forever be grateful to us", Avril suggested.
"That isn't a nice idea, if we are to prove anything it should be sincere. If they get to find out we cheated them do you know what the implications will be?" I asked.
"Avril, Chris is right. we don't have to cheat, if we have to prove to them that there are good werewolves like you all, we have to do it sincerely", Ariel said and I nodded.
"Let's just go he and sleep over this, when we have a better idea we come together for another meeting, id also try and come up with something", Tyson said and we all agreed.

Things were going smoothly as we all continued to think of possible solutions to the challenge we were faced with.
Things were also going smoothly with me and Avril, her eighteenth birthday was drawing closer and I had a surprise planned for her.
I also wouldn't forget to inform you that hers is right after mine. I didn't care much about mine anyways after all no one ever did aside from my nanny.
I really missed her, only God knows when she'd resume and take care of me once again.
No one ever gave me a present except my nanny who prepares my favourite and buys me cheap chocolates from her salary for that month.
AVRIL
I and Ariel were over-excited about our eighteenth birthday which was a week after resumption... My friends will be so excited to attend, I really do miss Sally, she would be the one to help in dressing me and also assist mom in picking the best outfits for my party. She'd also come with her friends, she really made all my parties in the past fun.
I remember how I and Sally would make plans for our eighteenth birthday, Sally's birthday was just a few days before mine. She usually had a small party because her parents couldn't afford something loud. I had promised Sally that I'd help make her eighteenth party colourful while we planned mine.
Sally and I had so much planned out for our eighteenth birthday, it just hurts so much that all have been crashed because of Chris.
My cell phone beeped jacking me off from my thoughts, I picked it up quickly, my hands wobbling out of fear for no reason.
"Hello", I said in a very low and weak tone.
"Please who am I speaking with? This is Avril Fernandez", I said breathing heavily.
"There's no point introducing myself because you don't know me", I heard a masculine voice from the other end. The voice sounded like a teenager's voice.
"There's actually a need, we introduce ourselves so those that know us will get to know we are the ones speaking and those who don't know us will get to know", I said curiously. I was a bit angry that someone would be so rude as to take my contact without my permission, have the nerve to call and then say shit to me.
"I am David Thompson, a kid from your school", he said.
"How may I help you?" I asked getting impatient.
"You are the one who needs my help", he replied and chuckled lightly.
I was agitated.
'Who does this?' I thought.
"You really think I have time for scumbags like you? If you don't have anything reasonable to do why not go pick beans or work in the fields? Why do you have to be a parasite in the lives of others?" I fired at him.
He chuckled more audibly this time annoying me the more.
"You are insane! Don't you dare call me again", I said and hung up.
"Urgh!" I screamed.
I threw my phone to my bed but unfortunately, it missed and crashed to the floor, I immediately picked it up and tried fixing it but it wasn't working, the screen was really bad and the vision had become blur.
"This insolent human has made me destroy my baby", I said sadly burying my face in my palm.
I heard a loud knock on the door and dropped my phone out of fear.
I turned around to see who it was, I turned as if I could see through the door.
"Wh... Who I... Who is there please?" I asked lightly.
"It's me Jumai", I heard Jumai's voice from the other end.
My heart leapt for joy, I rushed to the door, opens it and jumped on her.
Jumai's new job has taken a big turn on her and affected our closeness big time. Jumai was always busy with work, it was either she is in the office or she was home very busy with her laptop. Jumai worked tirelessly day and night, whenever she wasn't working she was sleeping, although jumai hardly ever sleeps even at night.
"I miss you so much dear sis", I said slowly as I disengaged from the hug.
"I miss you so much as well my baby sis", she replied and pecked my forehead.
"Are you busy tonight?" I asked Jumai.
I really needed to talk to her, she is the only one I could confide in right now.
"I... I came to see you", Jumai said and paused for someone staring into my eyes like she wanted to eat them.
"What?" I asked curiously, my legs and hands were still wobbling.
The look on Jumai's face changed immediately she sighted my phone on the floor. She walked forward into my room and shut the door gently.
"What happened to your phone? Were you fighting with someone?" She asked looking around the room.
"I, I am fine", I replied trying to hide my nervousness.
"Are you? Do I even need to ask? Of course, you're not fine", Jumai said turning me around to ensure I was okay.
I smiled weakly.
"I want to talk to you and probably sleep in your room tonight if you won't be too busy with your new babies", I said sarcastically rendering her books and laptop as her new babies.
"Uhm.." Jumai said scratching her head gently.
"I knew it, there was no point asking in the first place. It's fine I understand that you have to work like mom and dad, although they always have time for me during weekends", I said sadly lowering my head to the floor.
"My dear!" Jumai called and hugged me tightly.
"It's not like I don't miss you as well, I honestly do but you know some things have to be done", Jumai tried to console me.
"It's fine", I replied trying to hide the sadness in my voice.
"Why are you here?" I added.
"I... I will be going on a trip to Canada soon, I just..."
"You are going to Canada? Wait for what?! And I'm just finding out? When are you leaving?" I asked pushing Jumai away roughly.
"I'd be leaving soon, my flight is tomorrow morning but I'd be going to the airport this night. I'd lodge in a hotel close to the airport so I'd leave from there tomorrow", she replied.
"Gosh!" I said as I let my tears fall freely. Jumai had never left my sight for a whole day, now she was going to Canada.
"H.. how long are you staying in Canada?" I asked trying to hold back my tears, but I was betrayed by my eyes as they fell freely dropping at my feet. I felt my eyes bulging, it felt like it was going to fall off my eye socket.
"Just a week or so", she replied.
"You're not even sure?" I asked.
"Just a week", she replied.
I placed my hand on my head and scoffed lightly, I wanted to burst out but I tried to hold in my pain so I wouldn't say words I'd regret to Jumai. One more thing was certain, I would turn into a werewolf anytime soon.
I turned to Jumai red-eyed.....
