CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN
AVRIL
I woke up to 15 missed calls from Tyson, I completely forgot about our plans together.. I jerked up from my bed and hurried to the bathroom, to take a quick shower. I quickly dressed up and texted Ariel and Chris.
It was a cold Saturday morning and the harmattan breeze blew cooling the whole area... I hurried downstairs and met Ariel there already dressed.
"Did Tyson call you?" I asked him and he nodded without uttering a word. "Then what are you waiting for? Let's leave immediately", I replied picking up his hands but he took them away from mine immediately. "What is the problem?" I asked shocked at his reaction.
"Jumai has asked us to eat first", he replied and I scoffed.
"Eat?" I asked placing my left hand on my head while licking my lower lip. "Ariel you know how long it's going to take you to finish eating and you want to eat first? Ariel we do not even know why it's so urgent that....."
"That Tyson has called us so early? Chill love, I even thought you already know and that is why you are tensed", he replied shocking me more.
"Ariel are you okay? You don't know, I don't know what if it's... Ariel you and I know clearly well that a cat does not run in the day time for no reason", I replied still starring at Ariel surprisingly.
"Oh please! Spare me those, I...."
"You guys are already set for breakfast?" Jumai asked as she walked out of the kitchen with a tray filled with food in her hand. Our chef followed after her with a another tray that was occupied with a bottle of wine, a bottle of juice and five glass cups. "Mom and dad will be joining us soon, why not have your seat", she added smiling.
I turned to Ariel with a scorn and he winked at me wearing a wicked grin, Ariel occupied a seat and I went to seat right beside him stepping on him on purpose. "What was the meaning of that?" He asked he knew I did it on purpose.
"Uhmm...", I scratched my head waiting for Jumai to return to the kitchen. She was finally gone, I took my seat beside Ariel and whispered in his ear. "This is all your fault".
My dad and mom came downstairs to join us for dinner, Jumai wanted me to go shopping with her later in the day and I promised to, if I returned on time. I was the first to finish my tiny plate of rice, I waited patiently for Ariel to finish the big bowl of dish he had dished.
I was getting impatient and the normal twenty five minutes for breakfast was seeming like twenty five hours.
Finally they were done and I and Ariel hurried to Tyson's house, Chris was already there when we got there. The both of them seem to be engrossed in a very serious conversation, it seemed really serious from the reaction on their faces.
"What is the problem?" I asked Chris and Tyson turning to both of them one after another.
"What took y'all so long?" Chris asked starring at Ariel.
"It was my fault", I replied to avoid an argument between them.
"If you all want to start apotioning blames then you can go outside and do it, I did not call you all here for all these. If you don't want this meeting why not get away from here?" Tyson asked annoyed.
"I am sorry", I apologized.
"Sit", he said calmly and I and Ariel took our seats beside Chris.
"There's a plan to launch an attack on humans, they are to set the shopping malls and schools on fire, they are taking down big companies and acquiring properties, the have plans to take over the world and rule the world mercilessly, they want to leave everyone at their mercy", Tyson said.
"So who is launching this attack?" I asked Tyson.
"Sadly it's our race, the werewolves, they want to make us look bad once again", Tyson said bitterly.
"We have to do something, there must be something to do to stop them", I said.
"We against a thousand werewolves? Do you think we stand a chance?" Tyson asked.
"Yet we have to do something, we have to find a way. Once again they are about to tarnish our images and make the werewolves look bad in front of humans", I said sadly.
"Don't you think we should report them to the police?" I asked and Ariel shook his head in disapproval.
"Do you know there whereabouts?" Ariel asked turning to Tyson. Tyson shook his head without uttering a word.
"First of all we have to find their hide outs, then we plant an insider to give us information about them, that way we can be able to destroy all their plans", Chris suggested and we all nodded in agreement to his brilliant idea.
"That is a very brilliant idea you've got there Chris", Tyson said.
"This is what we should do, how did you get the information?" Ariel asked Tyson.
"How did I get the information?" Tyson repeated the question, he made a face as if he was thinking about it. Chris stared at him suspiciously, then striked me a glance.
"I have a friend who lives in town, he's also a werewolf, he brought the news to me", Tyson said.
"Let's ask him for information about their hide outs, that's the only way we could plant an insider there", Ariel said.
"I will ask him when next he comes, I do not know how number and I can't go to him either. He only comes to visit me when he has something for me, I will hope that he visits before the week runs out so we can get enough information from him. I will text you all when he is around please do well to keep your phone's on", Tyson said.
"Do you have any one in mind to plant as a spy in their midst?" Ariel asked Chris and he nodded.
"Leave everything to me, I'd see what I can do in convincing him", Chris replied wearing a naughty grin.
I totally forgot about my promise to Jumai and left with Chris to his house, he wanted to show me a surprise.

"Meet my nanny that became my mom, nanny Suzy", he introduced me to his nanny.
"Nice meeting you nanny Suzy, I am Avril, Avril Fernandez Chris's girlfriend", I introduced myself with a smile.
"She's really pretty", nanny Suzy commented and I smiled broadly. "Her smile is so beautiful, you hit the jack pot right here", she said to Chris.
"Thank you nanny Suzy", I replied still beaming with a smile.
"Do you mean I am not handsome? She also hit the jack pot with me", I said and we all laughed.
"Come over dear, come give me a hug", she said and I looked over at Chris as if asking for approval and he nodded with a smile.
I embraced nanny Suzy for sometime before she finally let go of me. "I'd make lunch for you both, just go in and freshen up while I prepare something".
Chris and I walked upstairs to his room, he held my waist with his left hand and cuddled my fingers with his right.
"Why not let's get ourselves busy while she prepares lunch?" Chris asked me and I smiled shyly.
"Busy with what?" I asked and he started kissing all over my body, from my lips to my neck, then my fore head.
"Let's get busy with this", he said and I tried to push him away but be was stronger than I was.
"Go away, nanny Suzy night hear us, besides she's making lunch and would be here soon to call us for lunch", I said and he continued kissing me without responding to what I have said.
