Escape plan B

CHAPTER FIFTY ONE
AVRIL
I stood up abruptly and started walking out of the cell, I left the cell and locked the door afterwards.
Jumai was still trying to distract the security guy, but when she saw me drop the key, and sneak out of the place. She immediately picked the key, replaced it and ran after me.
"What happened?" She asked as we walked into her room.
"Chris didn't want to leave with me, he has another plan", I replied calmly and sat on the bed.
"What is the plan?" Jumai asked and sat beside me.
"We have to involve Ariel", I said.
"But I still have a bad blood with Ariel, do you think he would want to talk to me?" Jumai asked.
"This isn't about bad or good blood, is about Chris's life", I said.
I picked up my phone and dialed Ariel's number, it rang about three or four times before he picked it up.
"Hello Ariel, are you in your room?" I asked immediately I noticed he had picked the call.
"Yes, is there a problem?" He asked rudely and I swallowed hard.
"There is actually a problem, I need your help, we need your help", I replied ignoring his rude response.
"I thought you have a new companion now? Why not ask for her help instead?" He asked.
"Ariel please, can we not do this now?" I asked over the phone.
"Where are you?" He asked in a calm voice.
"I.... I am in Jumai's room", I replied and turned to look at Jumai.
"Oh!" He replied calmly.
"Should we come over to your room instead? Or you want us to talk elsewhere?" Jumai asked and Ariel was quiet for a while before giving any response.
"It's fine. I will just come over", he replied and hung up.
We waited patiently for Ariel to come, and in no time he did come as he had promised.
"Thank God you are here Ariel", I said quickly as he opened the door. I rushed to him and hugged him passionately, Ariel and I haven't talked to each other for days now, he had avoided me like a plague and it's because of Jumai.
"I missed you Avril", he said and pecked my cheeks.
I" missed you more brother", I replied and smiled.
We pulled away from the hug and went to sit on the bed with Jumai.
"Can I get a hug as well?" Jumai asked and Ariel nodded and hugged her.
"So what's the plan?" Ariel asked immediately he settled down.
"Jumai and I tried to rescue Chris but it didn't work out. He was scared of getting caught, so he asked us to return and replan. He had given us a better plan", I said and Ariel sat up.
Of course he knew about Chris's arrest and decided to stay on his lane, he didn't like Chris to begin with so it really wasn't his business.
"What is the plan?" Jumai asked, and I asked them to bow their heads close to my ear, I didn't want anyone else to hear, so I whispered into their ears.
The plan started immediately, Jumai prepared dinner the following day adding sleeping substance to it, she served every single person in the house except herself, Ariel Chris and I.
We served Chris food once every day, some times twice.
After everyone had finished eating and slept off we decided to sneak Chris out of the house out they key was nowhere to be found. It was as if the security already knew about the plan and had hid the key to the gate.
I decided to use my claws to break the keys as it was the only option. I tried tearing the keys apart but I couldn't so I cut through that guilder instead and it wasn't so difficult.
I also used my claws and fangs to free Chris from the chains that were used on him. It was more easier than I thought it to be. Ariel had to help Chris walk, he was too weak and could not walk on his own.
The concoctions that were mixed and forced down his throat had suppressed his wolf powers, he could neither change nor heal. He was now partly human, and they intend giving him the concoction daily until they decide and kill him.
I lead the way as we continued to walk slowly towards the gate, Jumai was on the look out for us, I didn't believe things would go so smoothly as planned.
I couldn't wait to leave the city with Chris, Tyson's house would be our hide out for the night, he would also help us find an antidote to the concoction Chris had taken, so Chris would heal and be fit enough to escape with me to another city.
The plan was to start a new life with Chris in a very remote town, or hide in the woods very far from here until we were able to prove that all werewolves are actually not bad.
Ariel and I walked slowly but steadily, it wasn't easy at all carrying Chris the way Ariel was so the journey from the cell to the gate took longer than usual.
Getting to the gate, it was still locked, the key also was nowhere to be found, we decided to find an alternative. I was about to start working on the gate when I heard a loud voice from behind that startled us all.
"Who is there?" We heard the thick voice from behind and tried to run off, but all the lights Jumai had helped us switch off earlier came on and we stopped at the spot shivering. We could see one of the security on guard walking towards us, he was wearing a very stern and unfriendly look and we wondered how it was possible that he didn't sleep off.
It was very impossible for anyone who ate the food to wake up before twenty hours.
"What are you doing here with this boy?" He fired as he walked up to us.
"We.... We...", I was about to say something but lost my voice immediately.
"You what?" He fired at us and none of us were able to day a word.
"You really think you are smart huh? By the time I finish dealing with all of you, you will know I wasn't employed here to joke", he threatened and I quickly went on my knees.
"Please forgive us, please do not look unto our sins, I beg of you to have mercy on us, please have mercy", I pleaded and he held me by the shirt and lifted me forcefully.
"What do you think you are doing? You really think you are smart huh?" He asked as he choked me with my dress.
"Please, have mercy", Ariel pleaded.
"I should? Or should I go to your parents right away?" He asked.
"Don't tell our parents please, if you do we are gone, please have mercy", I kept on pleading.
We were still pleading with him when Jumai walked out of the door.
"What is going in here?" She asked as she walked up towards us preparing not to know what has happened, she acted completely clueless about the whole thing.
The security immediately let go of me and I staggered severally before I was able to get hold of myself.
"This tiny rats had the guts to add sleeping substances to our food? They really think they are smart", he said to Jumai then turned to me. "Wait until your parents hear this", he spat into my face pointing his pointer finger at me.
He hissed then brought his phone out of his pocket and started dialing my parents number, the name displayed on his screen would tell even the blind that he was calling my parents.
I didn't regret one bit that I had tried to Dave Chris, I only regretted that we got caught.
