Did she see that?

CHAPTER FORTY TWO
AVRIL
"Jumai please can you not do this?" I pleaded.
"For how long?" She asked coldly...
"It's... It's been months", I stuttered.
She scoffed, took my hands off her's and walked into the room, while I stood there watching her until she disappeared into her room and shut the door behind her.
I fell to the floor and started crying, I wished I had told her earlier but it was already too late, she found out on her own already.

Finally it was time for school, all the students were present in school on Monday morning. The assembly ground was filled with students they whispered among themselves during the assembly, I hadn't seen Chris and his squad yet.
I was restless, completely restless.
I went straight to my class after the morning assembly, and the class was completely empty, I waited for other students to come in, which they did after a little wait.
They came in in groups, twos, threes and ones. Sally came in walked past me, gave me a wicked grin and walked straight to her seat. I turned around to look at her until she sat down.
I was restless the whole day, I wanted to see Chris. Sally behaved so strangely the whole day and I hardly cared about her. My major concern was with Chris, how he handled the police men, because I was sure they had interrogated him, knowing fully well he was the only one in the apartment during the incident.
After classes I decided to go in search of Chris, I hurried out of my class room so I would get to the his classroom even before he left.
Getting to Chris's class room, it was almost empty as students were already leaving for their various houses, a few students were still packing their stuffs, while gossiping in groups, others stayed back intentionally, some chatting with their lovers, some gossiping, others just stayed behind for no reason.
I stood at a spot and searched the whole place with my eyes for Chris, he was the reason I had come and I needed to find him.
"Chris", I called out slowly immediately I sighted him, he had moved to another seat no wonder I didn't see him when I walked in.
Chris was seated on his seat, lost in thought, doing nothing exactly, yet not making any attempt to leave the class room.
"Chris", I called again as I walked up to him, he raised his head which have been resting on his jaw to look at me.
"Hello love, what brings you here?" He asked and I quickly sat beside him and took his hands in mine.
"You don't sound to excited to see me Chris, hope everything is fine?" I asked.
"I am really sorry if I created that impression and if I haven't been giving you enough attention my love, do accept my apology", he pleaded and hugged me tightly for minutes.
"Tell me Chris, how did you escape the police the other day? Hope I didn't get you into much trouble? I am very sorry hun, it wasn't my intention", I pleaded.
"No it's fine, you didn't get me into any dort of trouble, I'm good, my mom got everything under control, and she didn't call afterwards to complain as usual. Tell me about you and Jumai, how is she? Hope you both are good?" He asked.
I exhaled deeply and bowed my head.
"Jumai is upset with me, she didn't speak to me since then, even this morning, she made breakfast I complimented her and she ignored me completely", I said and Chris sighed.
"Come out of it hun, she'd get over it. She'd come back to her senses soon, she just needs time to process it all in her head", Chris assured and I nodded with a smile.
"Come here love let me show you something new" Chris said as he lifted me and placed me on his lap.
"What?" I asked as I looked around in the class room, the students have reduced drastically, only a few student are still left there.
"Let this kids leave first", he whispered softly in my ear and my cheeks became red.
"What is it you want to show me? I know you to be very naughty, I would not be expelled because of you", I said.
"You will get to know that very very soon", he replied and planted a wet kiss on my neck. I immediately felt cold shiver run down my spine.
"Can you not act naughty in front of everyone?" I punched his knee and we both chuckled.
"So tell me how should I act in front of everyone? I just want to show the whole world how much I love you, if only you will let me", he said as he strolled his right fingers all over my body.
The students were leaving the class room slowly and slowly, until Chris and I wee left alone.
"I saw Tyson yesterday", Chris said.
"Really? You visited him right?" I asked.
"Yes, Tyson is actually cool. I wasn't interested in learning about werewolves but I am now, I saw his friend and they asked that we see them soon, they had gathered information about the bad werewolves and humans that are planning to bring war to humans, I have a plan sketched out already", Chris said.
"What is the plan?" I asked.
"We'd plant David Thompson, he's also a werewolf, you do not have to be scared that he would expose us, he would only get himself into trouble as well. I called him, he had agreed to meet us when we are ready so we can visit Tyson's together", he said.
"So David would be our spy? You knew him all along? How come I didn't know about it?" I asked.
"I will just tell you later, but for now let me show you the skill I learnt at Tyson's", he said and clipped his fingers, his claws came out immediately, they were even longer than before.
"Don't do that Chris, what if we get caught?" I warned.
"Don't worry, there's no one here. Try it first it's very simple, bring out your claws for war at the clip of your fingers", he said and I shook my head.
"I don't want to get into trouble", I protested.
"You won't get into trouble for trying something new, just do it dear", Chris urged and I decided to give it a trial.
After seven failed attempts I gave up, Chris laughed so hardly at me and I decided to cheat, which forced out my claws and fangs. I was still boasting and flaunting it when I saw Sally walking into the class room. I immediately got rid of the fangs and claws and turned to look at Chris.
"Do you think she saw it?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"I am not sure about that, we would only find out when she gets here", he replied.
