The visit.

CHAPTER FIFTY ONE
CHRIS
"You expression and reaction alone says it all, I have been bethroted as well", I said sadly.
"I am sorry son", age said.
"You don't have to be, there's no point being sorry, I won't marry anyone that isn't Avril and you know that right. Oh let's not forget, I am going to die anyway", I said and she began to sob once again. "We are both lucky I would die this way, because I would never be with someone that isn't Avril", I concluded.
"I have been trying so hard to get rid of that legacy, I have tried so hard to talk your father out of this stupid legacy. But he is insisting you marry your betrothed", she said.
"Who is she?" I asked.
"Her name is Sally", mom replied coldly and my eyes and mouth went agape.
"Sally? The same Sally I know? We both know?" I asked and mom nodded.
"An no one said anything to me? The same Sally I detest so much? No wonder she is so obsessed with me", I said.
"I had made you suffer the same fate I suffered unnecessarily and won't let that happen anymore. I couldn't give you the love and attention you deserve because no one ever gave it to me, I do not know what it felt like to be loved, I never felt love all my life, the only person that ever showed me love was Chris, he was harshly taken away from me, and I vowed never to have a child, or get emotionally attached to anyone else, so I wouldn't feel the pain I had felt when Raphael died. But then, when I heard you were arrested as a werewolf, I was broken, my heart was chartered, I felt triple the pain I had felt when I lost Raphael. I wasn't loved and do not know how to give it, I am so sorry son", mom paused and began to weep.
I hugged her and caressed her back gently, she cried in my arms and I wished I could take away all her pains, she was still my mother after all and I loved her. I wanted her to leave, I didn't like that she was seeing me this way, it broke my heart, and broke her's even more.
"Chris", she called and took my both hands in hers.
"I love you so so much, even though I have tried so much to deny this in the past, I can't do anything to help it, I just love you so much and can't help it. I would do everything within my power to get you out of this place, I would do everything to get rid of the stupid legacy of fixed marriage. You will break the bond and would marry your choice, you will love and be loved by your wife Chris, your marriage would not be anything like mine, or your fore father's", mom said.
"It just hurts so much that you are doing this only after it's late. Why now that I am about to die mom? Why now?" I cried.
"You are not going to die Chris, no one can, and would take you away from me. I love you so much Chris and would so everything to get you out of this place, we only have a week Chris", she said.
"A whole week?" I asked and she nodded. "Mom, I need to speak with Avril, I really need to please help me pass this information to her, tell her to find a way to see me", I said and mom nodded.
She kissed my fore head, my both cheek and then stood up to leave. She stopped at the door, turned to me with a teary eyes, waved me goodbye and walked away crying.
I felt so much pain in my heart.
AVRIL
Jumai and I woke up the following morning, we had slept off without knowing it, and we couldn't carry out our plans for last night so it was rescheduled for the night of today.
Jumai and I waited till night and then we decided to carry out the plan, we decided we wouldn't go back to the room or lie down to sleep no matter what happens. We decided to wait in the sitting room until one of the security gaurds fell asleep.
Jumai and I walked over to the cell, I quickly found a close space and hid there, Jumai walked up to the guard and started a conversation with him, the both of them were bonding, and the security gaurd was laughing so hardly at Jumai's cheap jokes and flatters.
I saw her bend over and kiss him, it was eww and I closed my eyes immediately, then I remembered I wouldn't see her sign of my eyes was closed. He fell for the trick and was kissing Jumai back, she dipped her hands in his pocket when the kiss was intense enough and he was completely lost.
She brought out the key from his pocket, and I tiptoed out of my hideout, Jumai placed the key behind the security guard and I tiptoed to where it was kept, and picked it up.
I didn't have any slippers on so it wasn't so difficult for me to walk around without being noticed, it was hard locating the particular key to open the door, among the keys that were there. I located the key w d opened the cell, Chris was fast asleep so I tapped him gently and coveted his lips immediately so he wouldn't scream.
"What are you doing here?" He asked immediately he gathered himself together.
"Let's leave this place right away Chris, let's just leave I'd tell you later", I said dragging him up.
He pulled me down, and hugged me tightly unto himself, I felt his tears drop on my shoulder, then I started shedding tears as well. Chris pulled me away gently, he stared into my face and forced a smile.
"I have missed you so much, I thought you will never come", he said and hugged me again. "I am sure my mom delivered my message", he added.
"Your mom? I didn't see her. I had planned to come yesterday instead but I slept off, we need to leave this place as soon as possible", I said pulling him by the arm, but he pulled him had backward and held mine.
"My mom didn't say anything to you?" Chris asked and I nodded.
"Chris, this is not the time for all of these, stand up let's leave right away", I insisted.
"Hold on Avril", he said and I wondered why he was delaying when his life was at stake. I wondered if he didn't care about his own life and safety.
"Chris? Do you want to die here? We have to leave here right away", I shouted.
"Where do we go to? We would run away but to where?" Chris asked.
"Anywhere that isn't here, Chris you know any other place is better than here", I replied.
"We have to think about this first, let's not make hasty decision and get you into trouble", he said and I placed my hand on my head.
"Are you for real right now Chris? Think about what exactly? I just told you we have limited time, well unless you have other plans", I said.
"I do not have other plans, but do you really think we can escape? Think about it Avril, the security in your house right now is so tight", Chris said.
"Oh God! Chris!" I screamed and placed my hand on my lips immediately, realising I wasn't supposed to scream at this time.
Chris took my hands and looked directly into my eyes.
"Avril just go, talk to Ariel, together you would plan a better escape plan then you come back and rescue me, I would tell you what to do", Chris said and I pulled my hands away from his gently, as tears began to drop down my cheeks gently.
