Chapter 25

Ronald's POV
A month or so ago, I returned to the Blackout Pack, but before I could finish sorting things out, David came to me with the unfortunate news.
"Ally is gone, she disappeared about a week after I left."
My mood hit rock bottom at the news, and I had no motivation to do anything else.
I approached Tyler, "Help me with the rest. I have to go back to Wind Pack for now."
Tyler hurriedly stopped me, "You can't leave yet, there are still a lot of unresolved issues in the pack! We don't know much about where the slave trade is coming from!"
Tyler paused for a moment, as if to confirm a suspicion to me.
"You're going back to Miss Ally, aren't you?" Tyler said.
I nodded, no one could hinder me when I wanted to make up my mind to do something.
"I've made up my mind, don't get in my way." I said to Tyler.
"She was left alone, and the damn Beta's in the Wind Pack will keep coming after her. I knew she was going to run into trouble alone!"
My heart was so full of worry for Ally that I even began to imagine that she had been threatened by kidnappers.
"She could lose her life..." The thought made me barely settle into my chair.
"I have to go now, now, now, to find her!"
I turned into my wolf form and went back to the wind pack as fast as I could.
David had been waiting for me for a long time, and the tense expression on his face was relaxed only after he saw me.
"Tyler and I bet that you wouldn't come back for a normal girl."
David shrugged and said, "Obviously, I won."
"You treated Ally very special. ronald."
I didn't deny it because I knew it would make me look bad to my peers. Being obsessed with girls and obsessed with so-called love would make one despised.
"You should be aware of how males are supposed to treat women in the pack..."
I interrupted David impatiently, "I know, but the most important thing right now is, Ally, where is she?"
"A few days ago, our pack's spies went to secretly observe Ally's living condition as you explained to us. Her house became disorganized, like it was ransacked."
David took a sip of water and continued.
" Then we asked the people at the hospital, and they all said they hadn't seen Miss Ally in a long time, and they thought she had left without saying goodbye."
"Like she'd been robbed?" My heart sank, things were getting tricky.
Those two brutal murders couldn't help but make me worry if Ally had run into a murderer.
"Let's go to Ally's house now!" I ordered.
Following a familiar route, I made my way back to Ally's house. I cautiously entered her bedroom and the messy scene caught my eye.
The coverlet on the bed obviously showed signs of being dragged, and the pillows had fallen to the floor and become dirty.
The glass Ally always used to drink soda was also broken, and glass shards were scattered all over the floor.
My heart felt like it was being ripped open, and I felt a strange emotion.
I began to feel a kind of anger and worry that I had no control over.
So easily the thing about Ally took hold of my emotions.
"Tell all the citizens of the Dark Pack in Wind Pack to find Miss Ally and I will reward it heavily!"
My mind went blank, "Ally where are you?" I asked myself silently.
I looked at the items in front of me and the scenes of my past life with Ally came to my eyes.
I accidentally broke the vase on the table, and a piece of paper with writing on it appeared in the place where the vase was originally placed.
I picked up the paper, and the familiar handwriting rekindled my extinguished heart.
"Don't worry about me, I'm just going to do what I'm supposed to do."
I read the words on the note out loud.
"She's like a junkie." I said. "I don't know where she came from or where she is now."
Tyler came over and patted me on the shoulder and said reassuringly, "Ronald , don't worry about her too much, like you said. You have to believe that she is capable of facing difficulties on her own."
I carefully put the note Ally left in a pocket near my heart.
"Come on, we need to hurry back to the Blackout Pack."
"Yeah." I promised Tyler. "Wait a minute!"
  "David?" i asked.
"He's outside the door." Tyler said.
"Tell David to keep looking for Miss Ally's whereabouts. As soon as you have any information, tell him to tell me first!" I stressed.
  "Yes, sir."
I went back to the Blackout pack.
Tyler told me, "I found that the dead gamma in the pack all had a special poison in their bodies."
I asked him, "What kind of poison?"
"There is no taste, the color is transparent, like water. And, this poison can only last a week , more than a week's time, it will disappear."
After I heard it, I frowned unnaturally. It seems that the murderer is more cunning than I thought.
"Got it." I said.
At night, I sat alone on the couch by the window.
Tyler brought me over a file, "Ronald, this file is all the information I've compiled on the gamma who died in the pack."
Tyler paused for five seconds as he surveyed the expression on my face, then continued.
"Also, as reluctant as I am to do this, Mr. Charlie Carson insisted that I pass it on to you. Don't pay too much attention to the woman who disappeared at Wind Pack."
I was silent, not really wanting anyone to mention Ally in front of me because it would make me feel so frustrated. I had lost Ally.
Tyler's face showed some helpless emotion, "I know, Ronald. you're upset right now. But we have more important tasks to tackle! You can get the likes of any member of the opposite sex in the Blackout Pack if you want!"
Tyler and my father, Charlie Carson, had the same idea.
"Why must you want to get a woman? There are more beautiful women in the Blackout Pack than you can count!"
"But Ally is not like everyone else, you see?" I retorted. "I don't want my father to meddle in my personal affairs anymore. Tell Father that I'll take care of it myself."
I turned my body back, because I didn't really want to hear anyone question my thoughts again.
"Well, I respect whatever you think. ronald," Tyler said with a sigh.
"The latest news from the spies is that a new shipment of slaves is coming to the black market recently. So tomorrow we need to go to the black market and take a look at it, as it could potentially yield new leads."
Tyler said, he is my most loyal subordinate. And also my most powerful helper. I didn't want to get angry with him over my father's idea.
"I got it, I'll do as promised."
Tyler left my room, leaving me to sit alone in the room in silence.
"Ally, where the hell are you now?" I said with a sigh.
The next day, the weather didn't look too good today. The sky was overcast, "It looks like it's going to rain today, Tyler."
"Let's hope we don't have too much luck today." Tyler answered me.
Facing a future that can't be determined. Although there were many sexy, scantily clad, beautiful slaves on the black market, the atmosphere between us was anything but relaxed.
Tyler and I followed the code word given to us by the spy as we searched the black market for our target.
"Ronald, look over there!" Tyler was pointing at a girl in a white dress.
"That person would be the one we're looking for!"
I followed the direction of his finger, a girl in a tattered white dress crouched between a pile of messy wooden boxes.
I couldn't take my eyes off her anymore.
On her slender arms, four bloodstains looked like they were surrounded by vines.
She had her head buried in her chest, and her pretty blonde hair was scattered like seaweed over her shoulders and back.
The man standing beside her kept scanning the street with his eyes searching for customers, his shrewd eyes rolling as if he was constantly calculating the benefits he would get.
Just as he was about to whip the girl in the head, I asked Tyler to stop him.
  Tyler stopped him, "Hey! Stop!"
The man stepped forward, bent over and fawned on me, "Hello, masters! Look at this pretty, obedient slave girl!"
I didn't even want to talk to this man who smelled of alcohol.
If it weren't for the investigation of the source of the slave girl on the black market and the cause of Gamma's death, I would never have come here.
I noticed that this slave girl kept her head down and she didn't seem to want to engage in a stare-down with me.
I crouched down and looked at her suspiciously.
To my surprise, the boss behind her suddenly kicked her.
The girl lost her balance in a flash and fell towards Tyler like a flower petal.
Tyler subconsciously dodged, yes, he and I grew up together. We have a common habit: we do not like strange people near us.
But now, to my surprise, I subconsciously reached out to help the girl who was about to fall to the ground.
She looked up at me in surprise, and I met her lake blue eyes.
She had the same lake-blue eyes as Ally. If I had covered the area below her eyes and hair color, I would have recognized her as Ally.
But she and Ally are the same color except for their eyes, and nowhere else on their bodies is the same.
Ally is independent, decisive, aggressive, and even very stubborn. The girl in my arms at this time, the body is soft, the eyes reveal the seductive and hot lust.
They are not even a little similar, they are two different people.
Tyler coughed twice, which brought me back to reality.
"How much is this slave? I'll take it." I took the girl into my arms, and she leaned against my chest like a kitten, good-naturedly.
Tyler looked at me in surprise, "Ronald? What are you doing?"
I could practically read it on his face, "Damn you, what the hell are you doing?"
The girl's seller, who by now had a smile on his face like a flower in full bloom, poured wine into his mouth. Then he slowly extended a finger.
Tyler couldn't deny me, he looked at me with a "Are you sure you want to do this?" He stared at me with a "Are you sure you want to do this?" look.
