Chapter 37

Ronald's POV
"Is this dagger really yours?" I confirm to Charlotte again.
"It's mine, it's always been mine." Charlotte's skillful movement of dressing Charlie reminded me of Ally again.
It was the exact same dagger Ally had once used.
"Ally?" I inquired tentatively.
"Charlotte, your dagger is the same as the one Ally had used."
I finally said what was on my mind.
Charlotte's movements paused for a moment as she ended the final circle around the gauze and turned to look at me.
"Ronald," Charlotte took a deep breath, "perhaps this is something that you have already guessed. That is, I am Ally."
Charlotte looked at me, her eyelashes fluttering.
"I'm sorry, Ronald, that you know who I am in this situation. But I really had to lie to you..."
Charlotte took my hand as she tried to explain to me.
I gently took her wrist, feeling the warmth I hadn't felt in a long time.
Charlie lightly snapped the desk, "Ronald, I think I need to rest. Why don't you take Miss Charlotte back to rest too."
"Good." I knew my father was saying this to give me the opportunity Charlotte left alone.
"Just a minute, please, Mr. Charlie!" Charlotte interrupted my reply.
She pleaded earnestly, "Mr. Charlie, please talk to me more about clarifying things about my own mother's death."
Charlie nodded wearily, "That's what I was thinking. After dinner today, please come to my study with Ronald. I'll tell you everything I know."
Charlotte agreed, "I'll be sure to come on time, Mr. Charlie."
Charlie looked wearily at the portrait on the wall, and his eyes seemed to harbor even more intense emotion. It was something Charlie had never told me about before.
I pulled Charlotte with me and we strolled down the hallway.
Neither of us said anything at first just waiting for a quiet walk.
Finally Charlotte spoke up.
"Ronald, I want to know why you are not surprised at all about who I really am?"
I answered her, "I was surprised, but the truth is that you have surprised me far more than you have surprised me."
"Ronald, how long ago did you learn that I was Ally."
I smiled in response to her, "From the time you were describing things about Tyler at the hospital, I had a vague feeling that there was more to you than a mere slave."
Charlotte clasped her arms, leaned against a marble pillar, looked up at me, and said to me.
"And besides that?"
I leaned close to her ear, "Those little habitual gestures of yours, like the way you like to hold your arms when you retort to someone, and..."
I snuck my hand around her back and gently pressed my other palm against Charlotte's breast.
"Also, the expression you have when you climax is exactly the same as Charlotte's hand."
After Charlotte heard what I said, her expression was a little, annoyed.
I nimbly dodged the dagger she was thrusting at me, "Beautiful lady, hey!"
Charlotte attacked me. I had to surrender.
"Well, well, lady, daggers are for attacking enemies, not for hurting those who love you."
I begged.
"So you knew I was Ally all along?" asked Charlotte angrily.
"Yes, but I wasn't completely sure. Because you and Ally don't look alike. Although you both have the same lake blue eyes."
I emphasize.
I found a marble column opposite Charlotte and leaned against it casually.
"So why do you keep lying to me? You know I had people looking all over Wind Pack for you. I even made a point of going back to your place after I found you missing."
I questioned Charlotte forcefully.
Charlotte tilted her head sheepishly, "It happened so suddenly, and I made a spur-of-the-moment decision. Besides, didn't I leave a note under my glass of water? I thought you would have seen it."
I sneered, "When you treated me like that, you left me hanging for your safety. Now you should be taught a lesson. Lest you make the same mistake next time."
I twisted Charlotte's head and then kissed her hard.
Charlotte's mouth made a slurred sound and I could tell she was rejecting me.
I gently nibbled on Charlotte's lips and rubbed her nipples with my right hand. She felt the pain and pounded my chest.
The force was nothing to me.
Perhaps she was done with her anger, and I lightened up on her bite.
I gently wrapped my arms around Charlotte, cupping the back of her head with one hand and wrapping one hand around Charlotte's ample breasts.
I felt Charlotte as if she were the most precious part of me, and I felt her trembling like a petal in the rain.
I looked at her. Charlotte's expression was very soft, and she looked at me with bright eyes. Then she wraps her arms around my neck, closes her eyes and takes my lips.
Charlotte's scent lingers on the tip of my nose, "Ronald, you know what?" Charlotte whispered to me.
"What?" I rubbed the tip of my nose against her forehead then asked.
"At the time I knew you were Charlie's son, I knew I loved you, but we couldn't love each other. Do you know how so me that is?"
Charlotte's voice got a little choked up.
I held her close in my heart, "I know Charlotte, I know. You have your goals and your mission, and it's not your fault, honey."
I kissed the side of Charlotte's face, hoping it would make her feel better.
"I know you love me too, Lottie."
Charlotte buries her head into my chest and takes a deep breath.
I gently stroke Charlotte's back as she takes a deep breath, then looks up at me with a smile.
I find the smile somewhat impish and, simply put, somewhat complex and devious.
"Ronald, sir. Do you love Charlotte, or do you love Ally more?"
This is a deadly question. Because it was clearly the same person.
"Charlotte..." I lengthened my voice.
Charlotte followed my lead and waved a finger in front of my eyes.
"No, no, no, Mr. Ronald? Why are you trying to trick me with Tyler's name?"
It was my turn to feel weak.
"Well, I admit that I lied to you." I paused, "So we lied to each other."
Charlotte shrugged, "Uh huh."
"Whether you're Ally or Charlotte, I can't avoid falling in love with you, Lottie."
Charlotte pressed her lips to mine as I finished the sentence.
She badly rubbed up against my pen*s, Charlotte's openness, which caused me to cover up this ill-timed, embarrassing erection of mine.
"Charlotte! Don't do that!" I looked around, fortunately there weren't many attendants here.
Charlotte's face was filled with a smug expression.
"Delicious little guy!" I thought to myself.
I squeezed her wrists and then pinned Charlotte to the marble pillar.
"Damn , Charlotte, I just love it when you express that look fu*k you!"
I kept my hand up her left leg so that she had to choose to submit to my threat, while I lifted her skirt and rubbed my erection against the sensitive area near her v*gina.
"Ronald!" my action caused Charlotte to exclaim.
She tried to push me away hard, but she failed.
"Lottie, honey." I murmured softly in Charlotte's ear.
"You look really delicious. Baby."
Charlotte's body kept exuding a fatal attraction to me.
Charlotte opened her lips and she breathed hard like a dehydrated tropical fish.
I ran my tongue over all the places I'd bitten, which caused warring shivers to flood her skin.
"I want to have you here, Lottie, baby."
I said to Charlotte, suppressing the longing inside me.
"Please, let me enter you. Baby."
Charlotte stared at me with her lake blue eyes, and I thought she must be torn too.
"Ronald, I do. But not right now. Honey."
I slumped onto her shoulder in disappointment, "I knew it."
Charlotte cupped my chin soothingly, "We'll have plenty of time to make love later, Ronald, but for now we must endure."
I took a deep breath, then sighed, "You're right, Charlotte."
Charlotte must still be worried about the whole thing about Kalay right now.
"You have to promise me one thing, Charlotte."
I squeeze Charlotte's head and hold her close.
"What is it?" Charlotte asks. She looked up at me.
"Keep loving me and don't stop."
A smile tugged at the corner of Charlotte's mouth. "Always, Ronald."
