GLIMPSE OF A BAD BOY
CHAPTER 35: GLIMPSE OF A BAD BOY
~ Harper’s POV ~
Gabriel grabbed my hand and pulled me down the stairs and out of the front packhouse doors. I looked up at him, as he looked back and smiled. Even his smile has an effect on me. I looked past him to see a motorcycle parked with two helmets on the seat. It was one of those fast ones that reminded me of rockets. It was shiny and black, it suited Gabe perfectly. A wide smile spread across his face as he walked over to the bike and picked up a helmet.
“Oh, my goodness, we are riding that! I have never ridden a motorcycle before. I am so excited!” Gabe walked over to me and placed a helmet over my head and fastened it in place. I watched as he put on his own helmet and climbed on. The look of him on that bike got me so excited. He was so sexy! Before he helped me on, he stopped to explain something to me.
“Harper, I don’t want you to be afraid as we are exiting the pack territory briefly. I have to take the main road that circles back into our territory. I need you to hold on tight, I will be driving fast. I don’t want to risk being caught up to by that piece of shit of an Ex-alpha of yours. As much as I want to gut him, if he appears I can’t risk you being taken.” I nodded at him, and he helped me onto the bike. It felt good being wrapped around him. I snuggled into his back and held onto his abdomen with my fingers interlaced to hold me in place. Gabe started the bike, and it came to life. It sounded so smooth, until he revved the engine, then it screamed. It caused me to shiver from the adrenaline rush I got from the sound of the bike. Gabriel eased us onto the road exiting the packhouse going toward the gates that led outside the pack territory. Once we reached the gate, he nodded at one of the guards to open it. We continued down the long driveway, until we reached the main road.
“Hold on tight, sexy!” Gabriel spoke loudly to me. I nodded into his back, letting him know that I would.
He pulled out onto the main road lifting his feet off the ground once we were up to speed. This was so thrilling! Gabe didn’t go too fast at first. I think he was letting me get used to the bike first. Then we hit a stretch of straight roadway. He bent his hand backwards on the throttle shooting us forward. The front wheel was no longer on the ground, and he controlled the bike like a pro. I screamed and laughed with excitement, still holding on tight. Gabriel let the bike lower back onto both wheels but was still moving fast. He would lean into curves, and I would lean with him. The wind blew by us, and everything on the sides of the roadway was a blur. Gabe told me that the ride on the main road was brief, and after only a few minutes he slowed to take a turn onto a road that looked less kept up than the others. It still had pavement, but it needed to be restored. There was nothing but trees on the side of this road. It looked like it didn’t go anywhere. Gabe took his time maneuvering the roadway, trying not to run into any potholes.
It didn’t take us long to come to a wall. He parked the bike and stepped off removing his helmet, then he helped me off. After removing my helmet, I jumped wrapping my legs around Gabriel’s waist. I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him. He eagerly returned my kiss. It was long and sexy. Once we parted, we were both breathless. He licked his lips and grinned at me.
“What was that for, although I'm not complaining.” He asked, lowering his nose to my neck to take in my scent. I lowered myself back to the ground.
“I find the bad boy in you to be really erotic.” Gabe lifted his head to look at me. He was giving me that all time sexy grin that caused my heart to race every time he did it. He held onto my waist, not letting me step away from him. He lowered his head back down letting his teeth graze my neck and ear. His hot breath caused my body to shiver in anticipation.
“Maybe I should let my bad boy side out more often then.” I bit my lip. My heart was not slowing down at this point. I thought I would tease him a little.
“I didn’t know you were anything but professional, with your dress clothes and your Alpha title.” I giggled at myself as I said it. I have seen glimpses of how much of a bad boy Gabriel can be. I don’t know what I like more. The way he holds me, or the way he looks at me with those possessive eyes. It could be the way he touches me with those skillful hands, or the feel of his tongue on my skin. I felt my face flush, as moisture gathered between my legs. I looked up at him. He was staring down at me with one eyebrow cocked, and a seductive grin. I heard a low rumble in his chest.
“From the look and smell of it, you know just how unprofessional I can get.” He lowered his head back down to the marking spot on my neck and began to lick, nip, and suck all the way up to my ear where he gently took my lobe between my teeth. This caused tingles to travel all over my body. My legs turned to jelly, and my breathing hitched.
Gabe chuckled, stepping away from me and taking my hand. He led me up to the territory wall.
“We have spent more time outside the border wall than I had planned. I will feel more comfortable getting you back across the wall. I need you to climb on my back and hold on.” I did what he asked of me. I noticed a change in the feeling of his body as he allowed his wolf to partially come out. Gabe Jumped and grabbed hold of some stone that looks like it is impossible to hold on to. He scaled the wall with no effort at all. When we reached the top, he gently leapt down. I was surprised that I didn't feel a jar from the landing at all. I slid down his body until my feet touched the ground. He turned to me.
“You, ok?” He asked, wanting to make sure I didn’t get hurt from the landing.
“Yes, I'm fine. Are you going to tell me where we are going? It doesn't look like there is anything out here.” I asked, looking around. We were in the middle of the forest surrounded by tall trees. The sounds and smells of nature were all around us.
“That’s the point. You will love this place, just trust me.” I nodded at him as he held his hand out to lead the way. We walked a short distance before we turned to the left going down an embankment that looked like an old trail. We walked a long way, stepping over boulders and fallen trees the whole way. I didn’t mind any of this. I was completely at home in the forest. “It’s just around this hillside.” Gabriel said while continuing to walk forward. I don’t know how long we had been walking before I started to hear faint sounds of water. Gabe turned to me and smiled. I bit my lip a little nervously, not knowing what I would find beyond the hill side. We walked around and down the hillside. I saw that we were now under a thick canopy of trees. The sound and smell of water was growing stronger. Gabriel turned around to me, excitement was written all over his face. Ok, we are here. He moved out of my line of sight. My eyes grew bigger, and my breath caught in my chest, as I took in the setting around me.
