**Jordan**
My face hurts from the punches I received. Caleb punched me so hard, that he almost broke my jaw. So taste some blood in my mouth and when I touch the corner of my mouth with the tip of my tongue, I know he broke my lip.
For what I've done to Rain, I deserve the way she talked to me. I deserve each and every punch I received from Caleb Black.
That evening, on her birthday, I didn't even give her a chance to talk. What should have been a special day for her turned into a nightmare because of my father. I know I should have listened to her cries and pleadings, but instead, I let myself be driven by my anger and jealousy. Days later, when I was calmed enough, Titan forced me to listen to the recording from her phone. At first, I could not believe what I was hearing–my father sexually abusing a pack member. And not any pack member but my soulmate.
After listening to the record I beat the shit out of my father, locked him in his room, and went to look for Rain. But no matter how much I looked I could not find any trace of her or her scent. I suspected she was in the Black Rubie Rogue Pack territory and I feared that they were abusing her more. When I contacted the Elders and told them about Rain and the rogues, Elder Adam told me that he will find a way to get inside Caleb Black's territory so I can get my soulmate back.
Days later, Mr. Smith came to talk to me and told me that it is possible that my father abused more females. So while I still had my father locked up in his room I started interviewing all the pack members and I started finding more things about my father. He sexually abused many young females from the pack, all of them under eighteen years old.
**'If you weren't so busy thinking with your dick, you might have figured out in time what father Ben was doing!'** Titan lashes out at me.
I don't argue back because I know he is right. Titan told me many times that I should wait for our soulmate.
I inhale deeply and my lungs fill with Rain's scent. Goddess! How I missed her sweet scent. How I missed her!
**'Have you seen how haunted her eyes are? And she is so thin! Because of you!'** Titan says in an angry tone. **'Because you did not stop to listen to her! You let the pack hurt her, knowing too well how they felt about her!'** he keeps going. **'I begged you to stop! I even tried to shift but you blocked me! And now I lost my soulmate because of you! I lost Rain and Safia!'**
*'I know, Titan! We will get them back. I will beg and crawl if I have to. I–'*
**'You will do what exactly? Didn't you hear her? Caleb is her other chance at happiness!'** Titan snaps for the last before blocking me.
I will do whatever it takes to get her back because I still love her. I just need another chance to talk to her.
I am still laying on my back when I hear the door opening and someone enters the kitchen. From the scent, I know it is the Omega from before. I think his name is Blade.
He walks over to me, puts his hands on his hips, and looks at me. "So, you are the Alpha that rejected Rain and let the pack beat her to death?"
Can't say I am surprised that he knows about what I did to Rain. I did expect to be treated like shit, but I still hoped that Rain would listen to me, once I found her. I want to show Rain that I regret what I did to her and that I am willing to do whatever it takes to gain her back.
"Yes, I am him," I say and my jaw aches in pain as I speak.
Blade goes to the freezer, opens it, takes some ice, puts it in a towel, and brings it to me.
I rose slowly because I feel a bit dizzy, sit on a chair and take the towel from him. "Thank you," I say to him and put it close to my mouth.
Blade goes to prepare some coffee and once it is done, he puts two mugs on the table, one of them in front of me.
The Omega sits at the table, and drinks from his mug while he studies me for long minutes.
"Why did you come here?" Blade asks me in a serious tone.
"Long version or the short one?"
"I think I heard Caleb telling you that you have to leave in an hour," Blade says. He looks at his watch then back at me, "You have 37 minutes left."
"Short version: a member from my pack is a fucking pedophile. I am here to learn how to work with the females he raped because they don't trust me and think I am going to do the same. I might be many things but I am not a fucking rapist! And all of this is creating a rift between me and the rest of the pack. I also want to win Rain back."
Blade snorts, "If she ever accepts you back she is the biggest fool I have ever seen!"
"I love her!" I try to explain to him. "I am not leaving without her!"
"When you love someone you don't hurt them. When you love someone you protect them. And in this pack," Blade says in a serious tone, "we protect what we love." He looks straight into my eyes, "Do you know why I am called Blade? Go near her, and I will show you how well I can handle a knife!"
I am sure he thinks I am here to hurt her, but I will show this whole pack that I regret what I did to her and I want her back with me. Also, I want to learn how to work with my abused pack members.
**'Leave her alone! You harmed her enough!'** Titan growls at me.
*'Don't you want our soulmate back?'* I ask him with a confused tone.
**'The question you should be asking yourself,'** Titan says in a very angry tone, **'is–Does she still want us back?'**
*'She is ours, Titan, the Moon Goddess gave her to us. Of course she will want us!'*
Titan snorts, and then tells me in an angry tone, **'She found her second soulmate! Why would she want us back after all you did to her?'**
I have seen how Caleb reacted when Rain said they are soulmates. Even if he didn't say anything about it, I've seen the confused look on his face.
*'They are not soulmates,'* I say to Titan.
My wolf snorts, **'What makes you think that?'**
*'I just know, and I will prove to you that I am right!'*
Blade looks at me, still waiting for me to say something.
"I know that what I did is wrong but I want to prove to Rain that I am sorry. And that I am going to protect her from now on!" I say to him.
Blade looks at me for long moments, "No, I don't think you are truly sorry. I think you want her just because she is your soulmate and not because you truly love her for who she is. And I think that your presence here will do her more harm."
"I want her because I love her!" I argue because I know I love her.
"I am not saying you don't love her, what I am saying is that you love her just because she is your soulmate," Blade says in a serious tone.
I want to argue with him, but the door opens and Caleb enters the kitchen. He puts his hands in his pockets and stares at me with eyes full of rage. I put the towel on the table, next to the mug and stare back at him.
"You are staying. For the moment!" Caleb says in an angry tone. "But I am warning you that if I ever see you near Red, I am going to–"
"If she wants to talk to me," I say, interrupting him, "there's nothing you can do about it! And her name is Rain, not Red!"
"Trust me, there's nothing I won't do to keep her safe. And I think I gain the right to call her how I want because, from the day I found her, I had to fight her hour after hour, day after day, to keep her alive! Do you know how many times she woke up screaming? Or many times have I had to use my Alpha voice to stop her from harming herself? Or how many panic attacks she had daily? Not to mention that not only did you reject her but you marked her as a traitor and a cheater!"
I stand, "She tried to harm herself? Is she alright?"
"If Red is alright it is no thanks to you! This is the only warning I am giving you! Stay away from her!" Caleb looks at the Omega, "When you have time, show this fucker where he will be staying."
I growl, "My name is Jordan not fucker!"
"Growl one more time at me and I am going to remove your mouth!" Caleb says in a calm tone but his silver eyes glow with rage.
I say nothing more and Caleb leaves. I have to find a way to get Rain away from him because I am sure he will be a big problem.
Blade looks at me, "If you care for her, you should go."
"I am not leaving without her," I say.
I know I still have a chance with her, because Rain never rejected me back. The bond is still there.
