But that day is not today.

"Call your packs and have all the available warriors ready to fight!" I order the Alphas. "This night will be long, and many will perish. Blood will be shed, and tears will be spilled, but my soulmate and I will do everything we can to send the Demon King back to where he belongs!" I say while looking into their eyes.

The Alphas wait until I finish talking before taking out their phones.

"So, the final battle has finally come?" Red asks, and her anxiety is skyrocketing. I rub her back, trying to calm her.

If it weren't for the prophecy, I would have never let Red join the battle. But truth be told, I need her to fight with me if I want to defeat our enemy. If there were even the remote possibility of sending the Demon King back through the portal on my own, I would have made sure Red and Sky were safe before heading to the City of the Angels. I put a strand of Red's hair behind her ear. "I hate that you have to fight, but I won't let anything bad happen to you," I promise her before kissing her.

"Eww! They are kissing again!" Sky comments and I lift my head and chuckle while I look at my daughter.

Conon smirks. "Wait until you start noticing boys!"

"My daughter hates boys! Besides, if a boy wants to approach her, he will have to pass my interview!" I snarl at Conon.

**'And not to mention, I will be watching from the shadows all the time, and if any boy makes Sky upset, he will have a long talk with me!'** Raven growls, and Red laughs.

"Goddess help us all if I have a baby girl!" Red says, and Conon howls with laughter. Even Katherine is shaking her head, amusement written on her face.

Naomi cocks her head to the side. "You don't know?"

I frown. "Know what?"

She sighs. "I will tell you once Earth is safe again! The portals will be ready in about fifteen minutes!"

I am curious to know what Naomi wants to say, but she is more stubborn than Tatiana. I can wait until the war is over to find out.

After I tell Elder Riad that I want all the Royal Enforcers armed to the teeth and ready to jump into action and send Conon to inform all the males from the pack to grab their weapons, Red and I take Sky to the safe room before going to change our clothes.

When Red takes off her dress, I stand behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. "I love you," I say and kiss her mating mark.

"Caleb!" she breathes.

I know it is not the time to make her mine, but anything can happen tonight, and I don't want to have any regrets. I spin her around, grab her ass and lift her. "Wrap your legs around my waist!" I tell her.

Tatiana and Naomi, together with an army of witches, have opened portals in front of the Werewolf Palace, and warriors from packs all over Romania are coming out of them. There are not only werewolves but also dragon shifters, werecats, werebears, and even human soldiers.

Naomi and Tatiana are working to open a big portal that will lead straight to the City of the Angels.

"Remember to remain with Rain no matter what!" Tatiana tells me once the portal is opened, and I nod. The Theta Knights are the first to go inside the portal. "Once you have the Demon King cornered, we will send him back to his realm!" she adds before I grab Red's hand and follow Elton.

It takes a few seconds to get to the other side.

Angels are fighting with humans and other creatures while around them, the beautiful city is burning. Bodies cover the streets, and there are more Angels than enemies. Black witches use magic mirrors to amplify their spells and absorb the magic of the Angels.

Elton and Kevin get in front of Red while Katherine stands behind her. Conon and Jeremy step out of the portal and rush to us. Nature witches come out of the portal and attack the Black witches, while the Light witches hurry to heal Angels. My warriors spread around the city, killing any enemy that crosses their paths.

Conon grabs Katherine's face between his palms and kisses her. "I know I should have told you this earlier, but if anything happens to me tonight, I want you to know I love you, Kitty Kat!" he whispers to her.

Katherine smacks him. "If you get injured again, I will kill you myself!" she huffs before kissing him. "Once we get rid of the Demon King and the Vampire Queen, I want you to mark me!"

Conon's eyes shine with joy, and he looks away for a moment. "It would be an honor!" he says.

Jeremy clears his throat. "I might have gotten Sarah pregnant." He swallows hard. "I am not sure how things will turn out tonight, but if anything, please make sure Sarah and the baby are happy and well taken care of."

Red gives him a shy hug. "I am so happy! Our babies will grow up together!"

Around us, warriors die, and spells are cast, but we take a moment to congratulate Jeremy for the baby and Conon and Katherine for their upcoming mating ceremony, and we make a promise to remain alive no matter what.

I call my magic to me, and an ice sword appears in my hand while fireballs float around Red, and we join the fight. Fallen Angels and rogues race toward us, but between Elton and Kevin, they are dead before they reach Red or me. Behind me, Conon, Jeremy, and Katherine make sure no one takes us by surprise.

We walk around the city helping Angels kill enemies. It does not take long for us to defeat everyone. The Light witches finish healing all the injured Angels while we search for the Demon King and that Leech Bitch. There is something about this battle that I don't like. We won too fast, too easy, and with minimal casualties.

We head to the Cloud Palace and enter. The hallways are quiet; blood covers much of the white floor. Five Angels try to attack us, but when they see the marks Red and I have, they stop.

"For a moment, I feared the Demon King sent more of his army to attack us," an Angel with black wings says.

"He is not here?" I ask.

"After killing the Crowned Prince, the Demon King left," the same Angel replies.

I frown and think about where the Demon King could be. "Shit! We need to return to the Werewolf Palace!" I say.

We run out of the Cloud Palace and back to the portal. Luckily it is still open, and we step through it. Dead Royal Enforcers are scattered in front of the Werewolf Palace, and my mouth goes dry.

"We need to hurry!" I say while I run inside.

If the Cloud Palace was silent, the Werewolf Palace is like a grave.

The mutilated body of Elder Riad is waiting for us in front of the Golden Room's closed doors. Elton and Kevin open them, and my knees almost give in.

Tatiana and Naomi are kneeling in front of the dais while the Demon King is killing the rest of the Elders. The pups and the females of my pack are in the middle of the Golden Room, holding each other tightly, fear written all over their faces, while vampires look at them with hungry eyes. Sarah and Viki are holding hands while their eyes are on the thrones.

"Viki!" Elton breathes, and Kevin holds him back before he does anything stupid.

"Sarah!" Jeremy says in a low tone, and I grab his arm before he runs to his companion.

"You will put not only them in danger but also yourself if you rush to save them without using your brains first!" I say, and he clenches his teeth.

The Leech Bitch sits on Red's throne with Sky on her lap. I can see how scared my daughter is. "Let go of her, and I will make your death less painful!" I snarl while my heart beats wildly in my chest, and fear like I never felt before takes hold of me.

"You killed my son, and I will do the same with your daughter!" she snarls. "Imagine my shock when I discovered you had a mutt with a vampire! It will be fun breaking her!"

That fucking bitch laughs before sinking her fangs into Sky's shoulder. A heart-chilling scream echoes inside the Golden Room.

**'I am going to kill that fucking vampire leech for touching our child!'** Raven growls.
