Red goes to talk to Elton, and I look at them. The moment their hands touch, Red's eyes turn golden, and Elton's eyes go black. Elton's wolf growls.
**'It happened again,'** Raven says.
*'There's no doubt he is a Theta then!'* I say before going over to where Red and Elton are.

I put my hand on Red's shoulder, and I look at Elton. He looks at Red and me with scared eyes.
"Caleb," Red says and gets closer to me. I am sure she is confused about what's happening.
"Luna, I—" Elton says in a nervous tone. "I—I don't know what happened. It's Michael, my wolf. He—"
"Elton, I want you to take a big breath and relax," I say, and Elton obeys. "I would like to talk to you tomorrow in my office."
"Am I in trouble?" Elton asks.
"Why would you be in trouble?" I ask in a confused tone.
"Because of my wolf. He feels a connection with Luna Rain," Elton explains.
I nod. "Your wolf wants to be around Red and protect her. Am I right?" I ask, and Elton nods. "That's why I want to talk to you. I want you to start training with Jeremy and Bolgan."
"But I am an Omega," Elton protests. "Besides, my mother tried to teach me how to fight, and I didn't learn anything."
Raven snorts. 'Great start as a Theta Knight!
"Elton, you are more than an Omega now, and you will learn how to fight with a weapon of your choosing. I will explain more tomorrow," I say.
Elton looks at me with confused eyes. "More than an Omega?"
"You are a Theta Knight now, and your job is to protect Red," I say. Both Red and Elton gasp.
"I need to know what a Theta Knight is!" Red says, and Elton nods.
"Let's go to my office," I groan. "I will try to explain as best as I can."
Once we are in my office, Red and I sit on the sofa while Elton brings over a chair and sits.

"While you explain to us what a Theta Knight is?" Red asks.
I lift her hand and kiss the back of it. "A Theta Knight is a special rank. Very few werewolves had been chosen by the Moon Goddess to be Knights. They have one role, but it is the most important role—to protect the Luna!"
Elton scratches the back of his head. "How come I never heard of this rank before?"
"Because the last Theta Knight died around a hundred and fifty years ago. And they only appear when the pack is in great danger," I explain.
Red gasps, "The pack is in danger?"
I shrug. "I don't know if another pack wants to attack us. It could be other communities, but the fact that Elton is a Theta Knight tells me that we need to prepare."
Elton sighs. "Alright. I will start training."
"Great! In the past, the packs had weapons for the Theta Knights, but since we have lived in peace for so long, no more Knights, the weapons were taken to the Werewolf Palace. Next month, when the annual Alphas and Lunas meeting will take place, you have to come with us and choose your weapon," I say to Elton.
"Won't any weapon work?" Elton asks, and I shake my head.
"The weapon you will choose is special. You will understand when you choose yours. But until then, I want you to train." I look at Elton, and I can tell he is stressed about what I told him. "Elton, I know that being a Theta Knight is a great responsibility, but the Moon Goddess wouldn't have chosen you if she didn't find you worthy of this rank. I can hardly wait to take her to the Ritual Stones and claim her in front of the entire pack. My eyes go to Elton. "You don't have to be stressed about being a Theta Knight. And I can hardly wait to see what weapon you choose!"
**'I bet it is a tank!'** Raven says.
*'Why a tank?'* I ask, confused.
**'So he can hide. Can't you see how scared he is? We should get him some diapers!'** Raven huffs. I snort.
Red clears her throat, "Do I also have to train?"
"Since I don't know what the threat is, I would like if you would also train," I reply.
Red groans, and Elton chuckles. "At least I won't be the only one suffering," he says.
"If you have more questions, I would gladly answer them," I say, and Elton shakes his head. "Then I will see you tomorrow."
Elton leaves, and I remain in the office with Red.
"What do you think?" I ask her.

"I don't know what to think. First of all, I am scared for the pack. And second of all, what do I do with a Theta Knight?"
I laugh. "You don't have to do anything with Elton. It is his purpose to protect you. Don't worry about the pack. There are enough Enforcers to keep everyone safe."
"I hope Elton won't become my shadow!" Red says. "What should I do to help?" she asks in a serious tone.
"You need to stop worrying! I will make sure the pack is safe!" I make a mental note to send Tristan an email. I need to ask him if the Leech Queen's plan. "We should go to bed, and tomorrow we will start to prepare for what is to come," I say when I see how late it is.
Red nods.
We get out of the office, and soon I find myself walking Red toward her room.
"Can any werewolf become a Theta Knight?" Red asks.
"Yes," I reply fast.
"Even an Alpha?"
I chuckle. "Even an Alpha. I read about a case where he was her soulmate as well."
Red gasps, "Why aren't you my Theta Knight?"
"Because I wasn't chosen to be one."
We make it to her room, and Red looks at me.
"I just want to grab some things from my room," she says. "You know, since I will be sleeping in your room," Red says, slightly embarrassed.
**'We will finally have our soulmate in our bed!'** Raven says.
*'And we will sleep on the couch!'* I say.
**'Why can't we sleep in the same bed? Imagine having her in our arms all night long!'** Raven says.

"Red, you don't have to sleep in my room if you don't want to!" I say.
She looks at me with confused eyes. "I want to sleep in your room! I am the one that came up with the idea. Remember?" I nod. Red opens the door to her room. "Will you wait for me here?"
"Yes," I say, and Red gets inside.
Red stays in her room for about ten minutes before coming out with a backpack. I stare at it for a few moments. Red is moving into my room. I am not sure if I would feel happy or horny. I mean scared.

I ignore Raven. "Let me carry the backpack for you," I say, and Red hands it over to me.
