59. Rain

**Rain**

Raven watches me as I rummage through Caleb’s clothes and sniff them. Most of them are washed or new and don’t have Caleb’s scent. I throw some t-shirts on the bed, frustrated. Sometimes, I hate being an Omega. Raven takes off the t-shirt he is wearing and gives it to me. I bury my nose in it. Happy that it smells like Caleb and Raven, I take it to the bed and add it to the little nest I am creating. When I am satisfied with my work, I turn my attention to Raven. “Come here!” I say, patting a place inside the nest. Raven lays next to me, and I get on top of him. “How much longer until we return home?” I ask, starting to feel restless because I know I will have to take the nest apart once we leave the hotel.

Raven puts his arms around me and kisses the top of my head. “Two days.” I groan. “We can leave any time you want!”

Since we arrived at the hotel, all Caleb and Raven did was take turns fucking Safia and me or make sure I ate and rested.

I am tempted to say yes, but then I remember Caleb never had a vacation since he started the pack. “Stupid hormones and Alpha knot!” I mutter. “I was not ready for this! It is all Caleb’s fault!”

Raven chuckles and puts a hand under the t-shirt I am wearing—belonging to Caleb—and touches my stomach. “This is thanks to your magical pussy!”

I roll my eyes so hard I am sure they spin like slot machines. “Can you stop joking around?” I ask in an annoyed tone. I feel as if I can’t breathe. Too many changes in a short time, and my brain is yet to catch up with everything. “How will I balance everything? I just started training because I need to take control of my life while I am learning how to be a Luna and a mom for Sky! I don’t think I can do this!”

Raven puts me on my back. “Relax, female!” he says in his Alpha voice. “Good female!” he praises me when I do as he asks. “We will go home, and once you are in our room, surrounded by Caleb and my scent, you will feel better. You can use all the clothes Caleb has to build your little nest. Everyone will make sure you are comfortable until the baby comes!”

There! Raven tackled the elephant in the room. Even if Caleb had told me several times he couldn’t have babies, something happened the first night we arrived at the hotel. I am carrying a little Caleb. I wonder if it has something to do with the voice I heard because I wasn’t in heat when I got pregnant.

Omegas need to feel safe and sheltered while pregnant otherwise, they get anxious about things. Fortunately, Caleb and Raven understand the need I have for them and left my side only to bring me food and water. I wonder if I am stressing about the baby because of how I have been treated in the past. Maybe Raven is right, and once we are home and familiar scents surround me, I will feel better. The lack of materials for my nest is also adding to my anxiety. Not to mention that I have to destroy the one I am trying to make in this hotel room. It is a rare case in which an Omega destroys a nest, but I try to think that I will make a better one soon.

When I say nest, I am not referring to one like birds build. Omegas use their soulmate’s clothes, blankets, and pillows to make a place where they spend time when they have a bad day, are in heat, or want to feel safe. As the date to deliver gets closer, Omegas spend more time in the nest with their soulmates.

I had never made one before because I never felt protected or happy. But Caleb’s patience and the pack’s acceptance of me made me believe in my happy ending.

Raven runs his fingers up and down my stomach. He and Caleb are very excited about the baby. I put my palms on his shoulders. “Maybe you are right, and once we are home and I start working on my real nest, I will feel better about everything.” I sigh. “I hope you do not think I don’t want the baby because I do! It’s just that I got used to the idea that I will never get pregnant, then boom!”

Raven chuckles. “I know.” He dips his head until our lips are almost touching. “I will take very good care of the baby and you, Red.” His hand goes up, his fingers brushing the underside of my breast. “No one will ever harm what’s mine!” he says before kissing me.

He lifts my t-shirt, his hands teasing my nipples for a few minutes before going down on me. I am not wearing panties, and Raven puts my legs over his shoulders before he eats me out. “Oh, fuck!” I say when he sucks my clit and his thumbs stroke my nipples.

Raven loves making me come on his tongue. If I let him, he can spend hours with his face buried between my legs.

“You taste so good, Red!” he says before his mouth is back on pussy, licking and sucking.

“Raven!” I pant his name, feeling an orgasm building.

He licks me faster, his fingers twisting my nipples, and it doesn’t take long for me to cum. I try to catch my breath while Raven removes his boxers, kneels between my legs, and strokes his cock a few times before pushing it inside me.

While Caleb likes to fuck hard and fast, Raven enjoys doing it slowly, taking me in many positions—under him, on top of him, from behind, spooning, the butterfly, and so on. When Raven finishes, we are both exhausted and breathing hard.

Raven takes me to the bathroom, cleans me, returns me to bed, and kisses me before letting Caleb take control.

“I love your scent mixed with mine,” Caleb says and kisses my temple.

Caleb uses a blanket to cover me as I cuddle against him and rest for a while. “I was thinking,” I say to him while he plays with my hair. “How about we go out and visit Sinaia? Or maybe we can go skiing?”

“We can visit things, but no skiing! What if you fall and something happens to the baby?” Caleb says in an alarmed voice.

I sigh. This is going to be one long pregnancy. “Caleb, there’s nothing wrong with doing exercise while I am pregnant. The baby is fine! My magic protects him!”

Caleb puts a palm on my stomach. “Red, from the moment I felt your scent changing, mixing with mine, and the impossible became possible, all I want to do is keep you safe until the baby is born!”

I throw the blanket aside and get up. “I am pregnant, Caleb, not sick! Now, move your butt out of bed, and let’s do something other than fuck like bunnies!” I say while I start dressing.

Caleb laughs before standing. He looks at his phone. “We have about four-five hours left before night falls. I am sure we can visit something, and we can dine at a restaurant.”

I put my boots on and tie the laces. “Sounds like a date! And we can buy some gifts while we are out!”

Once we are dressed, Caleb interlaces our fingers, and we walkto the car. Caleb takes me to Peles Castle. It is the first time I see it, and for long moments I forget to breathe because it is so beautiful, covered in snow. While I stare at the Castle as if it is something belonging to a fairytale, Caleb buys the tickets online. More people are waiting to visit Peles Castle, and while we wait for our turn, I borrow Caleb’s phone to take some photos.

“I will have to buy you a phone when we get home,” Caleb says.

Since my last phone, I hadn’t had one, and frankly, I don’t want one. When I need to look for something on the Internet, Caleb lets me use his laptop or phone. “Maybe a tablet,” I say.

Caleb puts his arm around my shoulders. “If that’s what you want, then I will get one for you, but you will need a phone as the Luna of the pack,” he tells me before we go inside the Castle.

I thought the hotel we were staying at was fancy, but Peles Castle is on another level. I don’t even know where to start explaining how beautiful it is. We visit room after room while I look with round eyes at things. I try to memorize details I might use for my drawings. Caleb studies some weapons while I am fascinated by armor and furniture.

After we finish seeing the Castle, we buy some souvenirs. Caleb drives to the Museum of trains that is located at the local train station. Many families come to watch the little trains. We look around the train station for around ten minutes before deciding to walk around Sinaia to see if we want to buy more things.

It is dark when we finish shopping, put the bags in the car, and stop at a restaurant to eat. Caleb helps me with the chair, and we place our order. While we wait for the food, some familiar scents tickle my nose, but I ignore them because many werewolves can have similar scents.

I sip some water. “Today was a lot of fun. I was thinking about our house. You will have to add an extra room for the baby.” I chew my lip for a moment. “And perhaps a little room I could use to transform into a cozy nest so we can spend time as a family.”

“When we return to the pack, I’ll show you what I have in mind, and we can modify it as you like. How about that?” Caleb asks.

I smile. “Sounds good to me. I will be right back; I just need to use the bathroom for a moment.”

My head is full of thoughts about the house, Sky, and the baby, and I don’t realize the bathroom is not empty until it is too late.

“I thought it was you from the moment your mongrel stench reached my nose and ruined my night!” I hear Ruth’s voice before I smell her. She sounds as if she is talking to her worst enemy. I stop in my tracks because I did not expect to find my cousin in Sinaia. “Jordan should have killed you that night for cheating on him!” she snarls at me.

I turn on my heels, not wanting to be in the same room as Ruth. Hell, I don’t want to be in the same city as her! To my frustration, Hannah is behind me and locks the door. I turn my attention back to Ruth while I call my Fire.

“After Jordan got rid of you, I thought he would finally look at me,” Ruth says angrily, “but all he did was drink beer and search for you instead of taking care of the pack! When some pack members decided to come to Sinaia to spend New Year’s Eve here, I didn’t expect to run into you! But lucky me,” Ruth says, and her nails turn into claws. “Maybe if you are dead, Jordan will finally accept me as his companion.”

I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. “As much as I dislike Jordan for what he did to me, I think that having you as a companion will be the worst punishment he can receive!”

Ruth launches herself at me, and the moment she touches me, my Fire attacks her. She takes a few steps back, looking at her burned hands. “You are a monster!” Ruth accuses me.

“The only monster here is you!” I say. “This is not the first time you tried to hurt me. All those times you bullied and hurt me, I held back, but not anymore, Ruth. We might be related, but we are not family! Next time we meet, pretend we don’t know each other because if you try to touch me again, I will strike back much worse than I did a few moments ago. And I don’t think you want to know what my magic can do to you!” I say. “Don’t you think for a second that I forgot how you lied to Jordan about me!”

Someone knocks on the door. “Red? Are you alright?” Caleb’s preoccupied tone reaches my ears.

“Yes! Just taking care of a little *family* problem!” I reply. “Open the door!” I say to Hannah. Her hand shakes when she unlocks the door. “You should fear me because I am no longer the Rain you used to know. I am Rain Black, Luna of Black Ruby Rogue Pack.” I smirk. "Black Ruby Pack, since I am their Luna!" I say before leaving the bathroom. Hannah gasps while Ruth is quiet. “Can we return home after we eat?” I ask Caleb once I am standing in front of him because I have had enough of Ruth and Hannah to last for a lifetime.

Caleb looks behind me, probably at Ruth. “Did something happen?”

“Nothing I couldn’t take care of!” I say before grabbing Caleb’s hand and returning to our table.

Caleb asks the waiter to pack our food and pays for it. We are on our way out when I hear the voice of Ariel coming from one of the tables. “Isn’t that Rain?” A few more werewolves from the Crescent Moon Pack are with her.

It might be the first time I hear Ariel say my name.

“Who are those werewolves?” Caleb asks.

“They are from my former pack,” I reply, and Caleb growls. “There are humans in the restaurant!” I scold him.

“I don’t care!” Caleb says before going over to where Ariel and the others are. “You are not worthy of saying the name of my soulmate! For a long time, I wanted to destroy Crescent Moon Pack for what you did to Red, but looking at you, I realize you are not worth the trouble!”

Ruth and Hannah come to the table. “Who are you?” Ruth asks.

“Caleb Black!”

“The Rogue Alpha!” Hannah says.
