Epilogue

**Rain**

*Six years later*

A sketch I have been working on lies forgotten on the bench as I watch pups running excitedly around the big garden that is in front of the new Rogue Village. The Black Ruby Royal Pack finished building the village around three years ago and it is now behind the Werewolf Palace.

***Black Ruby Royal Pack***—the name Caleb and I decided to be the official one for our pack.

Adults are preparing food while the pups squeal with delight as Tatiana and Naomi do some magic tricks for them. 

It is summer and the day is hot. Jeremy, Elton, and Kevin are setting up a big pool for the children, and I have no doubt Sky will use her magic to fill it up with water. As she grew older, her magic also matured and loves to use it to make the children laugh. I watch how she makes water horses and they chase the pups around while they laugh. 

The last six years have been the most amazing and happiest of my entire life. After our pups were born, Caleb spent all his free time with our children and me. He has been the most attentive father and soulmate. I don't think I could have kept my sanity intact without his help while the triplets were babies.

For a long time, Caleb thought he was dreaming that I had returned to him safe and sound and that I gave birth to two girls and a boy. Sometimes I think the same because I am still trying to understand what happened after the Vampire Queen pushed me into the portal. I know the souls of my parents were there, waiting for me, and they healed me. But I wonder if that was somehow the place we go after we die and simply choose what will happen to us next. If that is the case, I am glad I didn't give up on finding the door that led me back to Caleb because no matter what, I would choose him and our family every day. 

Caleb, Conon, Reyes, and Elder Smith—that's right, my former teacher became an Elder—are in charge of the barbecue. Caleb is in the middle of a discussion when suddenly he stops talking, turns his head, and looks at the pups. Through our mating bond, I can feel his panic, but once he sees Dawn, Elin, and Oliver playing with the rest of the children, he relaxes a little. A second later his gaze searches for me, and when our eyes lock, I feel all his anxiety dissipating and all I can feel is his love for me and our family. He does this from time to time, as if he is afraid our pups and I are not real.

Naomi comes once every two days to the palace and uses her magic to help me see faces. Today is one of those days, as we invited her to the party Caleb and I had planned for quite some time. His brothers and their families are coming to meet us for the first time. Caleb's eyes fill with love, and he looks at me a moment longer before he returns to his conversation. 

"That male loves you more than life itself!" Jordan chuckles, and I turn my head to look at him. 

His two-year-old son, Dylan, sleeps peacefully in his arms while Rae Ann is helping Viki, Sarah, and Katherine with the salads. I still remember the day when Jordan called Caleb and told us that he and Rae Ann were soulmates and he was falling for her and asked for our advice on how to court her. 

I have to say I couldn't be more proud of Jordan. He took his disability and transformed it into something positive. He and Rae Ann worked hard to turn the Crescent Moon Pack into a place for werewolves that had suffered all kinds of accidents or been in fights that resulted in being seriously injured and are learning how to live with chronic pain or other conditions. 

Jordan has had a few surgeries since the day the Demon King broke his back. Since then, he still uses a wheelchair, but has regained some mobility in his legs and can walk with the help of crutches.

My eyes go to the house Caleb built for our family. It is just how I always imagined it would be. It is a Victorian style house with two stories and a big porch. I had to give up on the idea of having a fence because so many pups have been born in the pack, and they are all welcomed into my home. The front door is almost always opened as pups come and go. Music and laughter, paint and colors are always present in my home. And home baked cookies, as Tatiana always drops by in the morning and we make a few batches for the pups. And Conon. He alsways sneaks in to grab some.

"I think he does!" I say to Jordan as I remember all the time Caleb spent with Conon and Jeremy building the house. And then the one for Conon and Katherine and so on. 

While the Werewolf Palace is big and could have accommodated the entire pack, we love living in our cozy village and use the palace only for official meetings and such.

The females finish the salads, and I see Viki, Sarah, and Katherine walking my way, all pregnant and big as my house. Rae Ann goes to Jordan and kisses her sleeping son.

As I suspected, Viki and Elton were soulmates and had their mating ceremony a month after Elton turned eighteen, and now they are expecting their first pup. Sarah is pregnant with her second one, while Katherine, well, that is another story. Conon and her already have four kids, all girls; this is their fifth child, and Reyes says they are having a boy. Conon and Katherine had their matting ceremony two months after my babies were born.

"Come on! You need to help us set the table! We are too pregnant to do it on our own!" Viki complains while she grabs my hand. 

"But I baked the pies!" I complain. "Look, I even burned my finger!" I am trying to show her my thumb, but she is not buying it. I sigh. "Fine, I am coming!" 

While we set the big table that we put in the middle of the garden, I couldn't stop looking at all my friends and family. Life with Caleb is amazing. While we are still Alpha and Luna Supreme and have a lot of responsibilities within the packs, our friends are a big part of our lives. 

Elton puts a plate full of steaks in the middle of the table, kisses Viki, and touches her round belly before going to where the grills are and helping Caleb and the others.

Sarah tries to reach the plate to grab some food, but her belly is in the way, so I help her.

"It is not fair that we are the only ones pregnant!" Sarah pouts. "You should have another baby!" she tells me. 

I shake my head. "My pregnancy was a one-time deal for me!" 

Not that Caleb hasn't tried getting me pregnant again. From the moment Reyes said I was well and could be intimate again, Caleb and Raven have tried to put another pup inside me each night since then. Sometimes in the morning as well.

Caleb brings a plate full of hamburgers and puts it on the table before hugging me from behind and kissing my neck. "So, what are you ladies talking about?"

"Babies and how Rain should have another one!" Katherine replies as she grabs a hamburger. 

Caleb looks with longing at the round bellies of my friends, and I know how much he wants to have another pup and to see how the baby grows inside me. While Caleb can't naturally have children because of Sinn, Naomi is responsible for the time Caleb got me pregnant, and I might have been talking to her. When I feel ready, I will ask her to help Caleb and me have another pup.

"I don't think Red and I will have another baby," Caleb says, and I hate how disappointed he sounds. "Besides, I already have four wonderful pups!" 

Someone approaches us, and I turn my head to see Ruth staring at the ground. During her trial, she was found guilty of harming me and many other things, and since there is no longer a Paranormal Prison, she was sent to work in the palace as a maid without a salary for the next fifteen years. My aunt is in Jordan's pack, taking care of disabled people. She feeds them, bathes them, and helps them with whatever else they need. 

"King Tristan and Queen Emma have arrived!" Ruth informs us then leaves. 

Tristan and Emma have worked hard to show everyone that not all vampires are bad. They demolished the old palace, purchased land close to the Werewolf Palace, and built a new home for the vampires. 

Dawn comes running to me, and I pick her up. Her cheeks become redder than her hair. The girls have red hair, while Oliver has black hair, like Caleb. All three of them have silver eyes. "Mama, I just saw uncle Tristan and aunt Emma. Is Jacob coming?" she asks while her silver eyes stare into mine.

Jacob is the son of Emma and Tristan, and Dawn has a big crush on him. 

I look around and see Tristan and Emma coming toward us. Jacob is between them, holding his parents' hands. Zeke, Hannah, and Xenos are behind them. Two years after Holgan's death, Hannah and Zeke decided to become companions, and they are very happy together. 

"Do you want to go play with him?" Dawn nods, and I set her down, and she runs to Jacob and hugs him tight.

Caleb growls because he does not like when his girls look at boys. "Shush you!" I tell him. "You have no problem with Oliver holding Natalie's hand, but each time Sky, Dawn, or Elin look at a boy, you go into caveman mode!" 

Natalie is Conon and Katherine's oldest daughter, and she and Oliver are BFFs.

"That's because no boys will ever be good enough to date our girls! Besides, I am teaching Oliver to be a gentleman and to treat Natalie as I treat you and our princesses!" Caleb says proudly.

"That explains why Natalie receives flowers from Oliver each day!" Katherine says, and I smile because Caleb brings flowers for the girls and me daily. "Conon is not happy; he always pouts that Oliver will steal his baby girl from him." 

"Good thing I am having a boy!" Viki says. "Elton is already as possessive as he can be with me!" 

"Tell me about it! Jeremy says that Alice will never move out of our house. And now we are having another girl!" Sarah pouts. 

Tristan and Emma make it to where we are, and they put a bottle of wine and two bowls full of potato salad on the table. 

"What are we talking about?" Tristan asks as he jumps into the discussion. 

"Babies!" I reply. 

"Talking about babies, I think my water broke," Katherine says calmly. 

"Reyes! Conon! Katherine is having the baby!" Caleb yells, and I watch how Conon starts panicking. "Wanna go inside for a quickie?" Caleb whispers in my ear, while around us, a little chaos starts. 

"What if your brothers show up while we are doing it?" I whisper back.

Caleb glances at his watch. "We have fifteen minutes before they get here." 

I shrug. "Sure!"

"Tristan, Emma, I have to show Red something. Keep an eye on the pups!" Caleb says before grabbing my hand and guiding me to our house. 

We step inside, and Caleb takes me to our room. On the walls hang many of the paintings I painted in the past six years while Caleb played the piano for me. There are also photos of our family and friends. We pass next to the photos Caleb took of me on our first date and I smile when I remember that night when he first played the piano for me and then we danced while snow was falling from the sky. 

Once inside our room, Caleb closes the door and takes off his t-shirt. I touch his chest with the tip of my fingers and look into his eyes. I should give Naomi a gift because I can see faces thanks to her. 

"You are so beautiful," I whisper, and Caleb chuckles before kissing me. 

We kiss for about a minute before Caleb spins me around, lifts my skirt, and pulls my thong to the side before unzipping his pants. He enters me, and soon he is fucking me fast and hard. 

"Touch yourself!" Caleb growls in my ear, and I do that while he keeps pistoning his hips. 

I am about to come when I hear Sky calling us. 

"Mom, dad?" 

Caleb stops moving. My heart beats wildly and I hope she won't try to enter our room. "We will be out in a sec!" he replies.

"Your brothers are here!" Sky informs us. "When you come out to meet them, make sure you don't smell like sex," Sky says before leaving. 

For the first time in many years, I blush and try to move away from him, but Caleb won't let go of my hips. 

"I am not done with you!" he says, and his hips move faster than before.

**'We still have to put another pup inside you!'** Raven says.

"Soon!" I promise as Caleb takes me closer to the edge.

I don't think he understands what I said because next, Caleb says, "No matter how many times I am inside you, it never ceases to amaze me how perfect you feel! Like home!"

"You are my home too!" I tell him.

*This story might have ended but new ones will start. I might have another epilogue in the future - a scene with Rain, Caleb and their family.*
