46. Rain

**Rain**

I have never been to a big city and especially not to the capital. The only time I went to a city was when I was ten years old, and it wasn't as big as Bucharest. Life in a pack is mostly quiet, but the capital feels like chaos: many buildings, sounds, lights, people, cars, autobuses, or trams.
Sarah has parked the car close to the hotel and striptease club. Viki rented a big room in the hotel, and Sarah did our hair and makeup. Katherine tells us stories about Sky.
After they forced me into a tiny dress, we got out of the hotel. I put my coat on, Sarah and Viki link their arms with me, and we walk on the sidewalk. Katherine walks next to Sarah. We talk about this and that, and I can't remember when I have been so happy to talk to other females. To have friends.
"So," Sarah says, "have you thought of the dress you want to wear during the ceremony?"
I can't say I have. Any dress can work. I want to have the ceremony with Caleb, not a fancy dress.
I shrug. "A simple one."
Sarah gasps. "Rain! You need a beautiful one! Not only will Caleb mark you, but you will become the Luna! Tomorrow we need to go shopping!"
I need to take Katherine with me because I need to know what size Sky is. I want to buy something for her.
"Forget about that!" Viki says. "The real question is: did you do it with Caleb?"
Katherine laughs. "I like how direct you are!"
"Viki, that's personal!" Sarah says.
I think about last night. It has been magical; he and Raven have been so thoughtful with Safia and me. Even if I was in heat and he was in a rut, I had never felt so loved. I still hate to be touched by males, and some things will trigger me, but I don't regret being with Caleb.
I smile. "Yes! Caleb and Raven had been amazing because I also went into heat."
Sarah starts jumping around like a small child. "OMG! You are going to have a baby!"
Katherine chuckles. "Someone is excited."
My eyes go to one of the buildings. "I don't know. We will have to wait and see."
Katherine looks at me. "Sinn?" I nod.
Viki clears her throat. "Not all couples need children to be happy. Just because you and Jeremy want one or two doesn't mean Caleb and Rain want one."
"Thanks," I whisper to Viki.
We keep walking while I look around. Groups of teens or adults are out shopping for Christmas. Before leaving, Caleb gave me his credit card and told me I could buy anything I want, but I hope to do a little shopping for him before returning home.
When we finally make it to the Princess Club—where the Chippendales show will take place—it is full of females. A waitress brings us to our table and takes our orders. She returns fast with our drinks.
The show is yet to start, and while we wait, Viki and Sarah take out some gifts they prepared for me from their bags.
Viki is the first to give me a bag. "I hope you like it!" she tells me.
I open it and take out an alien cock dildo. I stare at it for a few seconds. It is big. And when I mean big, I mean big. Some females from some close tables look at the damn thing also.
Sarah chokes on her drink. "What is that thing?"
"Alien dick!" Viki says, and females from the other tables laugh.
"You are wild!" Katherine says.
Viki shrugs. "I love alien dick! I still hope my soulmate is an alien with horns."
"Why horns?" I ask.
Viki drinks from her cocktail. "So I can hold onto them while I ride his face!"
I laugh. "You are like the female version of Conon. Are you sure he is not your soulmate?"
"If we were soulmates, we would end up killing each other! Don't get me wrong, I love Connon, but not in my bed!"
I change the subject. I lift the dildo. "How did it fit in your bag?" I ask Viki.
She laughs. "I give you a huge dildo, and all you can think about is how it fit in my bag?"
I snort. "Did you see the size of it? This thing can be used as a weapon!" An image of me fighting while I swing the dildo as a baseball bat appears in my head. "Imagine the damage it can do to someone!"
Viki hums. "Oh, I can!"
"I bet you have one in your room!" Katherine says.
"It's different from this one!" Viki says.
Sarah gives me her gift next. When I lift a pair of red and very sexy tongs out of a little bag, I raise my eyebrows. "I think Caleb will rip them as soon as he sees them."
Sarah drinks from her glass. I think she ordered some margarita. "He can rip them, but with his mouth. It is edible lingerie."
I drink from my mojito. "So Caleb can eat them? Do they taste good?"
Sarah shrugs. "I don't know. I didn't eat any."
I drink some more. "Well, I bet Caleb and Raven will fight for them!"
Sarah takes out another pair—a purple one, and I know this is the one Caleb will want. "So both of them can enjoy the experience!" Sarah tells me.
"I didn't get you anything," Katherine says.
"It's fine! We are here to have a good time!" I say to her. I smile and look at them. "Thank you! I never had girlfriends before, and you three are amazing!" I put the gifts in my bag, but the damn dildo stick out. When we return to the hotel, I guess everyone will see it.
Sarah smiles. "I am glad we are friends!"
The show starts, and I look at the stage. Five big, muscular guys enter wearing fireman pants, boots, and helmets. They don't have shirts letting everyone see how big they are. From scents, two of them are Alphas, a berserker, and two felines.
I look at them, but I am not impressed. I guess they are cute, but seeing them doesn't affect me the way Caleb does. When I see Caleb naked, I want to touch him and kiss his scars.
When the males start dancing, Viki whistles. "Drop the pants!" she yells.
"I think I dropped my panties!" someone yells from another table.
Viki yells back, "Same!"
I finish my drink and order another. The males keep dancing, and I am getting bored. Safia misses Raven.
The males take their pants off, and more than half of the females turn into banshees. My ears start to hurt from all the screaming. Some bras fly on the stage. I try to hide a smile because all I can imagine some of those bras landing on the males.
A female is invited to the stage, and she gets there as fast as she can. Safia shows me how happy the female is. A chair is brought, and the males dance around her.
I wonder if I can get Caleb to do a private show for me. Or maybe I can do one for him once we have the ceremony, and I can let him eat the thongs Sarah gave me.
"We have a bachelorette here!" Viki yells and points at me. My eyes go wide, and I look at her. "Don't look at me like that! It's the only time you get to have fun like this! Just enjoy!" she tells me.
One of the males, the berserker, makes a sign to me to go on the stage.
"I don't want to be touched by other males!" I say to Viki.
"They don't have to touch you! Just sit on the chair while they dance."
Sarah puts a hand on top of mine. "You don't have to do anything you don't feel comfortable with."
"Do you want me to get rid of them for you?" Katherine asks.
Females look at me while three males get off the stage and come towards me. I know this is part of a show, and they probably think I am here to have a great time, but as they get close and close, I start to feel cornered. I am starting to panic.
"Rain?" Sarah asks. "Are you alright?"
I nod. "I just need a moment." The males get to our table, and two want to grab me, but I lean back. "Don't touch me!" They stop and look at me. "I don't like to be touched," I say. At this point, I am hyperventilating. I stand. "I need to go to the bathroom."
I walk as fast as I can, not really looking where I am going. I am trying to breathe as Caleb taught me, but I fail. I never managed to calm myself without his help.
I am trying to find the bathroom, but I bump into a waitress.
"Are you alright?" she asks.
"Bathroom?" is all I can say.
She points where they are, and I try to get there as fast as I can. Sarah comes after me, puts a hand on my back, and helps me with the door.
"Are you alright?" she asks me.
I lay on the cold floor and press my cheek to it. I know I should worry about germs and other stuff, but all I can think about is that I want Caleb.
"What do you need?" Sarah asks.
"Caleb," I say.
Viki and Katherine also enter the bathroom.
"Rain, I didn't think they would upset you," Viki apologizes.
Sarah takes out her phone and calls someone.
I close my eyes, focusing on my breathing.
"Connon? Are you with Caleb? Rain wants to talk to him."
Sarah puts the phone on my ear, and I grab it. The girls leave.
"Red?" I hear Caleb's voice, and I start to relax. "Is everything alright?"
"I panicked," I say. "They wanted to get on the stage, but I didn't want to be touched, so I just flipped," I say fast. "Stupid, right?"
"Breath with me!" Caleb says, and I follow his lead. "Things will trigger your anxiety, Red. You don't have to feel guilty about it," he says when I am calmer.
"I wish you were here." I get into a sitting position and lead my back on the wall.
"Me too, but it's your bachelorette party," Caleb says, and I groan.
"What did you do today?" I ask.
"I had so fun with Sky. We ate ice cream, and we painted. When it was bedtime, I read her a story."
"What story?" I ask.
Caleb laughs. "Little Red Riding Hood." For a minute, no one says anything. "When are you coming home?"
I smile. "I think you miss me."
"Just a little. But before you return, I want you to do something for me."
"Like what?"
"Have fun!" Caleb says.
