**Rain**

Half dressed, I turn to look at Caleb. “Do we have time to prepare everything before the 27th? There are only three days left, and today is Christmas Eve!”

I know Christmas is a human celebration, but werewolves love to spend time with family and friends. Not to mention the big party the pack has and the gift exchange. I am so excited to give out my gifts tonight.

Caleb closes his laptop and puts it next to him. “Don’t worry; everyone from the pack will help get things ready for our mating.” He gets up from the bed and comes to me. “You do not know how much we hoped I would find my Luna, Red. I don’t know if you noticed, but the pack loves you.”

This comes as a shock to me. I haven’t paid too much attention to everyone from the pack. “Does it make me a bad Luna if I don’t know everyone by now?” I ask.

Caleb kisses my forehead. “You are so young, Red. You are still eighteen, and there is so much to learn. In time, you will know everyone!”

I nod, hoping he is right. “Can you look after Sky while I train? I will take her with me to Sarah’s house while we bake the pies.”

We decided to spend as much time as possible with Sky to allow her to get to know us before we talk to her about Caleb being her father.

“Today is a special day for the pups. They have a fancy breakfast, and after that, Miss Margaret, the teacher, will spend time with them in the movie room. After taking Sky to have breakfast, I will probably be in the dining room and set it up for tonight with Conon and Jeremy. Elton and Katherine are supposed to train with Holgan and you today.”

I bite my lip. “What are the kids watching?” I ask.

Caleb cocks his head. “I don’t know. Disney movies?”

Lately, I started discovering a wild part of myself. I make it to the gym, and I see Holgan training with Elton and Katherine. Elton is lifting weights while Katherine is using the rowing machine. Their training is different from the one I am receiving.

“Holgan,” I say. Tears fall from my eyes. I close my eyes, hoping that whatever is to happen, it will pass soon.

“Let go of her, Holgan! Can’t you see she is having a hard time breathing?” I hear Elton’s voice.

Katherine snarls. “Get away from her, motherfucker, or you will panic each time you see me!”
