Chapter 10
"Here, eat everything!" Eli's tender offer on the tray of foods, once placed on Harris' plate.
"You just like to cook," Harris said.
"Really! I'll give you a taste of everything I learned from Kara."
Eli's eyes were glimmering with pride.
"Wow, I think I'm going to get fat."
"I'll make you really fat so no chicks will chase you."
"You're naughty, and you have an ulterior motive," he teased Eli.
"I'm really jealous, I want to be alone," Eli said angrily to Harris.
But she was also suddenly stunned. Harris is getting married. How is she? Where will she go when she loses the first man in her life?
Harris noticed a change in her mood.
"Hey! What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Come on, did I say anything you didn't like?" Harris's insatiable curiosity.
"Are you going to get married?"
Harris' mood shifted as a result of this. He wiped the smile from his lips and went into deep thought. In front of the dining room table, they both fell silent. The silence was deafening, and Elijah did not last long. She dashed out the door, leaving Harris on the table, and locked herself in the room. She burst out crying. Why hadn't she thought of that last night? She almost seduced Harris last night without giving him a chance to think.
Harris did not cheat on her; he simply told her so.
"Open it, Eli!" Harris yelled.
He went to the door and pushed it open. Harris opened his eyes with a worried expression.
"Why? Don't be like that; I, too, get upset when I see you cry." He hugged her.
She cried again in his chest. Let the grief and worry flow into his heart. After that she looked up at Harris and was greeted with a sweet smile.
"I'm okay. Just ignore me." she said.
"But ..."
Only now in her whole life did she know what the word love meant. And it's okay for this to happen to them. Harris doesn't have to be her hobby anymore, while they're together and single.
Come what may! She consoled herself. And at least, he was the first to claim her. Than Mr. Lorenzo that he could only see seemed to make her vomit. Elijah was stunned again. What if she killed Mr. Lorenzo?
No! I don't believe he was murdered. Nothing in the newspaper was read by us. Please, God, don't. I hope that incident taught him a lesson. Those were the prayers he said before falling asleep due to the wake; she awoke at noon. Harris was no longer by her side. He only left a small note on the table with the lampshade on, saying he was going to leave for a while. He only bothered to fix that house. He then prepared a delectable meal for Harris's arrival that night.
The day wasn't dull, especially since her heart and mind were preoccupied with figuring out how to arrange the surroundings to Harris' liking. So when he arrived that night, his smile was as bright as ever.
"Hi!"
"Oh, hi, sweetheart."
A quick kiss on the lips was awarded along with a tight hug.
"How's your day?" This is a tender question after all.
"Fine. I changed the layout of your house, is it okay with you?" There was pride in her voice.
Smiling Harris looked around.
"Wow! It's like I'm in heaven. Am I dead? Well. It's good and I have an angel with me. You."
Harris turned on her.
Harris was pinched on the side by her. He laughed as he held her hands and imprisoned her in his arms, and their lips met again. They had another hot intercourse. It was a pleasure to live with Harris. Elijah always had a sweet smile on his lips. But not everything is as simple as that. There are still many issues surrounding their unexplained relationship.
Elijah noticed Harris was always silent a few days later. Sometimes I'm taken aback. She sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night without him by her side. And when she looked for him, he was in the living room, drinking and thinking. What on earth was he thinking? She wanted to ask, but she lacked the courage. She might get a negative response.
"I have good news for you, Eli."
Harris received some exciting news from the office one day.
"What's that?" She asked cheerfully.
"Your case with Mr. Lorenzo is okay." Harris smiled.
"Oh really?"
"Unbeknownst to you, I filed that case with my lawyer. I let him know if that bitch died. Well, the good news is, he's alive. And when we found out that you were wanted to be charged with frustrated murder and robbery. -"
"Robbery? I don't have--"
"I know that's why when I found out that, I personally talked to the couple. Well, let's say I scared him. I told him to file a counter-suit as well. I said you're underage and I'll dig up another case Frightened, he withdrew the lawsuit from you and asked for an apology. He said he would not repeat it to the other waitresses who would be theirs. Mrs. Linda was also frightened when I said that I would also file a lawsuit. physical injury and unfair labor practice. "
"Really?"
Elijah was naturally overjoyed.
"Yes, so you're free to get out of this house. You don't have to worry about the cops who might arrest you."
"Thank you so much, Harris!"
He kissed it. And Elijah thought that was also what harris had been bothering with the past few days so he was always silent. Now that that is solved, he hopes his mood will be okay as well. But he was wrong.
"Why?"
Harris sighed and caressed her cheek.
"I have an obligation left in our area."
Suddenly the realization hit his brain.
Of course, Harris has an obligation to face the woman he will marry.
"I'll be there for a while. I'll be right back, too."
"It's up to you." Only she could say.
"Stay here. Don't leave here. You're still here. When I came back."
He hugged her tenderly and kissed her on the ear.
For what? She would have liked to ask.
"Yes,"
She responded sparingly, though not hiding her sadness.
"Hey! Don't be sad. I'll be right back."
Elijah couldn't help but be excited. Return this man; what else is her worth? He intends to marry that woman. But he was Harris a few times that night. And he responded to him in a more friendly manner. She desired to provide Harris with memorable experiences. And, based on Harris's actions, he didn't seem to want to leave her side any longer. His tight hugs and talking kisses made her feel it. The same can be said for Harris's sweet words.
"I adore you."
Whispered words Harris said to her before leaving that morning, along with a farewell kiss on her cheek. In response, she simply smiled. When Harris left, tears welled up in her eyes.
