Chapter 25

"Aren't you doing something there?" asked Mrs. Acosta.
"Nothing. Why?" asked Elijah.
"Could you please give this to the CEO's office? He needs to sign something," she said.
Elijah was suddenly worried.
"Don't worry. Just leave them downstairs and take them to Mr. Blake's office."
"Go ahead."

She took a large number of documents and carried them outside. She had forgotten to leave a document, so they went to Harris's office on her own. She didn't knock, so he opened the door, but what she saw made her eyes widen. Harris was cradled in the swivel chair by the naked woman. And her husband had already topless. As their gazes met, she pushed the girl and fell to the floor. She suddenly ran out. She didn't even cry, but the pain was as if five knives were stabbing her heart. So the rumor was accurate. Is that the Beatrice they're referring to? She couldn't believe that the man she adored would cheat on her.



Harris was concerned that Elijah would catch them in such a situation. She may believe he is cheating on her, but she is wrong from any angle; it appears that she and Beatrice are up to something bad. Because of his rage and fear, he wanted to punch and beat Beatrice. He couldn't believe Elijah was going to open the door. He calls her, but her phone is disconnected. Harris became terrified. This is the worst scenario he will ever face in his life. He couldn't catch up to Elijah when he came out. So he got into his car and drove away from the structure. He'll return to their house in case Elijah is there. He wishes to speak with her and explain that what she witnessed was false.



But when he got home it was locked. And indicate that Elijah did not come home. Where did that woman go? Elijah didn't know what to do. What she saw earlier was trying to enter her brain. She called Lucy.
"Hello, Lucy. If you come home later, you will go home to daddy's house because we are going somewhere," she says.
"Go ahead. Be careful."


She walked into a small clothing store as soon as she hung up the phone. She will only buy here, regardless of price. She never returned home to get her clothes. Because of what was going on, she couldn't think clearly. Elijah's brain and heart have both shutdown. shattered into pieces, and she no longer wants to hear Harris' explanations. What she witnessed earlier is proof of his cheating on her. She couldn't believe their relationship had progressed to this point. Elijah understands that temptation is everywhere, but if you don't want to, you can refuse and say to her you're married, marrying someone who sticks by you through thick and thin.


She doesn't want to be with Harris and talk to him right now. She couldn't believe what she saw, no matter what she thought. He can avoid it if he so desires. She hopped into her car as soon as she left the store. She intends to go to her father's house first because she wishes to speak with someone. She didn't want to return to their home.

 She didn't want to see Harris' expression. What else can he do in this situation? She has the right to hear his explanation, but not now, after learning that the woman is pregnant. She began by purchasing two boxes of cake and three bottles of beer. And she arrived at her father's house an hour later. She stepped out of the car and unlocked the gate. Camille was sweeping outside when she noticed her.
"What are you doing, Camille? Is it to make you feel bad?" she asked.
"I'm going to use it because, as you know, I'm going to give birth in two months. Did you come? Do you need anything?"

"Nothing; I brought you snacks."
"Thank you, but why is there beer?" Camille asked, her gaze fixed on her.
"I see. Let's go inside the house first. Nanny Mathilde isn't here. She goes home with them since I'm here to take care of your dad." said Camille.
"Why? Is there a problem with them?" she asked.
"Nothing, but she informed us that she will be on vacation with them for a year."
They both sat on the sofa facing each other. Elijah didn't think she could talk to this woman like this if she used to have such a bad expression on her.

"Because Alfonso told me that he noticed something different about Yaya Mathilde like she was pregnant," said Camille.
"Pregnant? How old is Nanny?" she asked.
Elijah was shocked by what she found out.
"Yaya is in her forties, Eli. As long as a woman has her period, she will get pregnant," replied Camille, who started eating.
"Really? Yaya Mathilde doesn't have a husband or a boyfriend."
"Yeah. But your daddy saw Yaya Mathilde talking to a man outside the gate one night. He told me that he didn't see the said man's face but he wondered why he didn't let the man inside the house. It's like the two of them are arguing. You know it's different when you have the same woman at home."
Elijah thought. Nanny Mathilde is beautiful so she can have a boyfriend at any time. She will call her later.
"What is this beer for? Are you okay?" Camille asked.
"No," she answered.
"Why?"
"Please, don't tell dad this. I'm hurting," she answered.
"What happened?" Camille asked in a concerned voice.
"I saw Harris with a woman inside his office and they were naked," she replied.
"When?"
"Just a while ago. I visited him at the office," answered Elijah.
"Maybe you're thinking wrong about what you saw? Did you let him explain?" Camille asked.
"No. I'm leaving. I'm in too much pain." she said then drank beer.
She started to cry.
"The husband and wife must understand each other. The best thing to do is to listen to his explanation. The problem cannot be solved if you run away." said Camille.
"But Camille, I was very hurt by what I saw," she says.

"It's not always smooth sailing in a relationship; that's just a problem that requires strength; don't let your family be destroyed because of a misunderstanding," Camille said.
Camille is correct in her assessment of Elijah, but her mind and heart are closed. Elijah's father quickly caught up with her and asked why she was drinking. She didn't want her father to know what was going on, so she left and kissed Camille goodbye. She is now in the car. She would greet her by calling her Nanny.



"Hello, nanny. How are you? I discovered that you have returned home and that it will be a year before you return here. Is there a problem with you?" she asked.
"Nothing, I'm just going to rest and then come back, and Camille is already there to look after your father."
"Can I spend a few days vacationing with you there?"

The other line was deafeningly quiet. She was aware that her nanny was debating whether or not to agree.

"Does your husband know? He might go looking for you," Nanny suggested.

"I'll say my goodbyes, and he agrees," she replied.

"All right, I'll meet you there." her nanny said.

"All right, I'll meet you at the bus station."

"Okay."
Elijah first bought food for his nanny. Fruits may be conceiving. An hour later he saw his nanny walking near where he was.
He hugged her and noticed that she had lost weight and turned pale.
"Do you have a car, daughter?" he asked her.
"Yes, nanny. Come on board now," he said and opened the door for her.
"I brought food for you," he says.
"Thank you, Elijah."
Her nanny told her where to go. So it was easy for her to trace where. He noticed that his nanny fell asleep. So he just let it go. He passed many rice fields and large coconut trees. And Elijah seemed to notice that they had come too far. And there were no houses on their way. He saw that his nanny had woken up. So he will ask her.

"Are we still far?" she asked.
"We're almost there, Elijah. On the side ahead with a winding road, let the car pass there.
" her nanny answered.
So when they came to the path that her nanny told her, she followed what she said. And they entered the small road that was pure tall grass. And she stopped when she saw a small house made of bamboo with glass windows.
"We're here, daughter. Get down," her nanny said.
"All right."
Elijah went out while her nanny was carrying her food and fruit bought along with her clothes. Elijah did see that her aunt's waistline seemed to expand and she seemed to be lethargic and her eyes were deep as if she had not slept.

Even though she had lived with her nanny for several years, she had only recently noticed her nanny's features. She is stunning, with a small waist and curly hair. Inside the house, she followed her nanny. She looked around for her nanny's parents, nephews, and other family members. She appears to be the only one who lives here.

"Come inside, Eli, so you can eat," her nanny said.

As a result, she entered the house. She was astounded by what she witnessed. The outside is simple, but the inside is stunning. The flower designs on the wall, as well as the various wallpaper designs
"Your house is lovely, nanny; I like all the decorations," she remarks.

"Thank you. Go into the room and dress; I've prepared what you can wear, and follow me to the kitchen," her nanny said as she entered the kitchen.
Elijah laughed. Even though she has been away from her father's house for a long time, he still treats her as if she were a real child. If she is pregnant, her child will be extremely fortunate. She wants to joke to her nanny that if she and daddy haven't developed feelings for each other since they've been together for so long because she wants her to be a mother. She entered the room.
She noticed the dress on top of the bed. She wore it first and sat down on the bed. She was tired from the travel because it was so far. She left the room and entered the kitchen. She noticed her nanny Mathilde talking on the phone while staring at her.
"Your husband is calling, he said you left without saying goodbye," her nanny informed her.
Elijah averted her gaze.

"He's cheating on me, nanny, and who else in their right mind would say goodbye?" she responded.

Her nanny looked at her as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"How? That's impossible. He loves you so much to do that." said her nanny.
Elijah sat down.
"I visited him in his office and I saw a naked woman holding him and seat on his lap. If I didn't catch them, they might have gone somewhere because Harris was already undressed or maybe they had finished working on a miracle. It hurts to see that your husband managed to trick you and find someone else." Elijah said and tears flowed from her eyes.
Her nanny approached her and hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry, love. I don't know what you're going through. In a relationship, you'll inevitably experience problems like that because if you give up immediately, you'll lose. Hear his explanation first before you run away." her nanny said.
"No. I don't want to hear his explanations right now. Because I'm hurt. So please nanny doesn't tell him that I'm here with you. I want to unwind. Because I have a lot of questions in my mind right now. I'm a good wife. I'm not doing something that will hurt and make him angry." she says.
"All right. You can stay here whenever you want. Eat and sleep."

Harris is too preoccupied with Elijah. He's been looking for her and calling her, but he can't reach her. He was embarrassed to ask their father why he was looking for Elijah. Even though he would feel the same way, it was natural for Elijah to run away and hide because of what he witnessed. He also called his nanny and informed her that she had returned to the province and had no idea where Elijah was. Lucy is also at daddy's house because Elijah informed her that they are going on vacation earlier. He hoped Elijah hadn't told his father about what he had seen in the office.
He was outside the gate waiting for Elijah to come home and the two of them could talk. He loves her too much to cheat on her. He knows that Beatrice likes him very much when she admits that she always sends him food. I just want to get to know her but not to be in a relationship with her. So he was annoyed by this so he didn't want to see her tomorrow because he would be forced to send her away. She has no sign of the goodness of Elijah's heart, so he can't help but see and talk to her deeply. But the question is where he will find Elijah now. Even Kara and Nico didn't know where Elijah was. He reasons that the two of them are just arguing.
She entered the room and sat on the bed after Elijah had finished eating. It turns out that nanny Mathilde and she do not sleep together. She is going to sleep in the other room. She went out to brush her teeth for a while and didn't see her nanny in the kitchen; perhaps she was already in her room. So she went to her because she wanted to talk to her first. She noticed that the door was not closed just before she entered, and she saw her nanny getting dressed. She undressed and her eyes widened at what she saw because her nanny belly was already large. Camille is right. Her nanny is expecting a child. 
Could she have left her father's house to avoid their knowledge that she was pregnant?
