Chapter 27

"Maybe I was just shocked by what I saw. You know it was painful for me when I found out before that he was going to marry someone else. It's good that I was that woman. And seeing a woman naked setting on his lap and he is topless is something that I can't tolerate. All my married life to him I never talk and been with a man because he was jealous. He didn't let me work in his and daddy's company anymore. My doubts about him started when he came home early in the morning because they had overtime in their office. He didn't even inform me. It's okay because he was busy. But when I called their office phone at night, a female voice answered and told me that Harris was in the bathroom taking a bath because they say they do a lot of things." answered Elijah.
Her nanny was silent.

"You know your husband is handsome. So you can't help but many women had a crush on him, but that's okay because no matter what they flirt with, you are the legal wife." her nanny said jokingly.

Elijah laughed.

"Nanny Mathilde, now the mistress is more courageous than the wife. Many people are ruined because of that wrong relationship. Shall I leave why some people do not know how to be satisfied?" Elijah said.

Then Enrico came out and approached them.

"Let's go. We're going to leave first. I've already said goodbye to them." Enrico said to her nanny.

"Where will we go?"

"No more asking questions, Mathilde. We're just going somewhere now," answered Enrico.

The three of them entered the car together. Enrico drove the car away from her nanny's house. Elijah felt bad as if she suddenly had a headache. So he thought of sleeping on the trip. Her nanny's voice awakened Elijah's spirit.

"We're here in the city, Elijah."
Elijah opened her eyes and saw the car stop in front of the gate of an exclusive subdivision.

"What are we doing here, Enrico?" asked her nanny.

"We're just visiting, my friend," answered Enrico.

The guard opened the gate and Enrico let the car in. They stopped at an apple green house. Enrico opened the car door for her nanny to get out. Elijah's nanny Mathilde backed away when she saw the many cars outside the said house.

"What's wrong here, Enrico? If you're going to meet me with your parents and relatives, don't continue. I'm leaving. Let's go, Elijah." said her nanny.

"Hello, guys. You've arrived. Let's go inside." said a curly-haired blonde woman who approached them. The woman looks at her nanny smiling. And then she kisses Enrico and her. Also, she hugs her nanny.
"I know it. So this woman is the one you mention. Nice meeting you, Mathilde. You look so beautiful when you are pregnant. I already have a grandchild from my first niece. By the way, call me Sybil." said the woman. And he smiled at her and she returned a sweet smile.
His nanny just smiled as if surprised that she didn't think that Enrico's aunt treated him well.

Elijah is smiling too. Enrico had a nice attitude toward their family. Elijah thinks that Enrico's aunt Sybil is in her forties but she is still too graceful to walk.
"Do you know why my aunt wants to just call her Sybil because she doesn't want to be old?" Enrico said.

"She's not old," Mathilde said.

"Don't feel sorry for yourself because someone is older than you," Enrico said.
"Shut up."

They entered the great hall and saw many people eating. Aunt Sybil called them to come to her group. She noticed that her nanny was tense because she noticed that Enrico's parents were at the table where they were going. It was not smiling as it watched them approach. While others are busy eating.

"Oh. You must be Mathilde. You're beautiful. I'm Brenda. Enrico's single Aunt. If you have a single brother or even a neighbor, let me know." Brenda said and hugged her nanny while looking at her.

"I know you are the wife of great Harris Blake," Brenda said.

"Nice meeting you."

"Me too."

There is an old woman who is beautiful despite her wrinkled skin.

"Welcome to the family, love. Why did you just show up now? Don't think that we don't like you, if our grandson loves you, we love you too. I'm your Grandma Claire."

Mathilde hugged the old woman. And she looked at Enrico's father and mother.

"Welcome home, Mathilde. My son is no longer a baby. He will have a child soon. Please take good care of him because he is our only child." Enrico's mom said while crying.
"Stop crying, my. You're overacting too much. I'm only going to get married but I'm not going to disappear." Enrico said.
"I know that."
"Welcome to the family, Hija. Thank you for giving us a wonderful granddaughter or a grandson. You changed Enrico's life. What used to be nowhere is now on the right path." Enrico's dad said.

"All right. Eat first."

They ate and then Elijah said goodbye for a while to leave and go to the city first. He plans to get a haircut and hair color for a change. He wants to be fierce and seductive.

Meanwhile.

Harris was still inside his office. He didn't know what to do and where to look for Elijah.

The door opened and Beatrice entered, furious with him.

"How dare you fire me? I can sue you because I am a good employee," it said.

"Really? Is it a good person to let someone else's child be his boss's child? And is it a good person to destroy a family? So don't blame me because I have a reason why I fired you from your position." replied Harris.

"You don't know what it feels like to love." cried Beatrice.

"But you are wrong to love, Miss."

The door opened and he saw Elijah come in with different hair colors and short hair. Where did she come from and why did she look like this now? She is so daring and seductive. And the dress she is wearing is so short that her navel is already visible. Even the pants she was wearing were so ripped. Harris wanted to run to Elijah and hug her tightly. Because he missed her so much. But she didn't smile when she saw him, instead, she reflected anger when she looked at Beatrice.

"Who are you?" Beatrice asked.
