Leaving him

Bruce was on his knees inside a cold dim room ,shivering quietly, he shut his eyes, trying not to think of what he was about to face in the hands of his father. He rubbed his palm together, trying to give himself some heat.
Slowly, in a calculated move the door opened, his footsteps was mighty on the marble floor and echoed through the room. His moves was slow as he approached Bruce.
Bruce shudder in fright and began gasping for breath. He held his chest, tears clouds his eyes.
"I haven't touched you yet, and just take a good look at you"
He was in front of Bruce who was now on the floor with his mouth wide open.
He step on him with his left foot.
"You know this is what I hate "

Bruce could only shudder in reply, tears of was already streaming down his cheek, he hate it when he feels this way too but what can he do about it.
He crushed him with his foot, Bruce whine a little.
"Obey me and you will have no issue with me"
He held his chin rough.
"Am still gonna deal with you, I don't care if you are in your crisis "
Bruce shudder violently, before he could reply.
"I won't ....I.....I...won't "
Albert wasn't hearing any of that, as he brought his walking cane closer to Bruce. Touching his face with it..
"It won't hurt that much, just a tiny bit "
Bruce held his chest and shut his eyes.
"Be grateful I didn't have you thrown out here"
The room was now freezing hot, as Albert lift his walking can and uncapped it, bringing out a whip and stroke him with it.....
Linda parked her car beside Dixon's. And she came out of it, pulling out the bags groceries.
This is where Dixon lives?

She checked the address again.
Well this is it.
She couldn't have giving him what he desperately asked and not ask for hers.
She exhaled and standing in front of the door, why is she nervous? Well it's Dixon, he can be really difficult at times.
She knocked on the door and there Wasn't any reply.
So she knocked again and again.
Where the heck?
She held the door knob, surprisingly the door opened..
Linda gaze fell on the girl with a long unravel hair, partially covering her face and most glimmering eyes she had ever since .
She step in, making Maeve step backwards, she was about leaving wasn't she?
Why can't she move now?

Because of the older women piercing gaze and intimidating appearance.
“Who are you ?” Linda asked. Maeve parted her lips but couldn’t say a word.
Dixon came down, when he heard Linda’s voice. He hadn’t thought she would be here so quickly.
He felt the tense moment when he stepped forward, Linda shouldn't get the wrong idea about this.
He stood in front of Linda, shielding Maeve from Linda.
"Linda "
But her gaze was on the girl hiding behind her son, in no doubt in her son’s shirt. And he was bleeding from his arms.
“Son!”
And that was when her eyes glanced at the interior of the house.
A gasps escape her lips.
Wow!

This wasn't what she was expecting from an old rickety house like this, everything was just in place, just like in the mansion.
"You didn't inform me you were coming "
Linda snapped her head towards Dixon.
"I wanted to surprise you..." she dropped the bag of groceries
"... but I got surprised instead "
"Who are you?"
She turned to Maeve.
Then Dixon.
"Who is she? What happened to you? Did she hurt you?”
“Am fine, Linda.”
“Then explain the injuries on your arm?”
“It’s nothing to worry about.”
“Then who is she?”

Dixon itch his neck, how is he gonna explain that, the girl he thought he knows but doesn't. He wanted her to leave, go back to wherever she came from.
The black brown eyes, how is he gonna explain all that when he doesn't even know her himself.
" You just got out of prison and you're already bringing girls home, while I was pleading on your behalf for Albert to accept you back as his son.
I thought you changed Dixon "
" I did change mom, and I didn’t ask you to plead with your husband to accept me back, Am fine on my own. And all this isn't what you think it is?
" oh, really what's it then "
She folded her hands .
"And care to explain why she's on you shirt?"
Dixon looked over his shoulder, and came in contact with Maeve eyes fixed on him.
The anger he felt was still there. She didn’t look at him that long before she looked away. She hurt with guilt.
He returned his gaze back to Linda.
" it's erm ... I think erm"
"Huh?"

"She doesn't have a cloth.."
Linda burst into a hysterical laughter....
Maeve watched her laughed while she cowered behind Dixon, peeping at the older woman at intervals.
Why is she acting all weird and mighty.
She stopped laughing and glare at Maeve as their eyes met. Maeve lowered her gaze quickly. One definition about the woman right now is that she was scary..
"This is stupid, is that all you can come up with?"
Dixon rolled his eyes at her.
"It isn't what you think it is"
"I don't care what it is, am not gonna let you ruin your life completely. Am not just gonna stay by and watch you do this to yourself
"You're fully aware of what happened before, that's why I had to bring Beryl into your life"
"I don't want to talk about Beryl ever again”
"Don't be stupid Dixon!"
"Who was with you when you were going through your trials, who was doing this and that just to make sure you don't spend your life in prison.. your fiancé!"
"She was my fiancé not anymore " he snapped at her.
"She's gonna come back to you, this isn't the first time you're having issues "
"Mom please "
"I can't let this happen "

She paced around shortly with her hands on her hips.
"I can't let her ruin you, you don't even know who she is or what she planning against you"
Dixon looked away, Linda had a point but ms Teresa, he doesn’t even want to say anything. There was a lot on his head right now.
"She has to leave now!"
Dixon head snapped to her.
"Now?”
"Dixon ..."
She moved closer.
"This is for your good, she need to leave"
And instantly she pulled Maeve away from him. Pushing her toward the exit.
Dixon stare at her as she as pulled Maeve away from him. He couldn't do anything, and he didn’t want to do anything either, he was fucking tired, he doesn’t give a damn what Linda did to Maeve, he doesn’t care anymore. she wanted to leave, this was the opportunity to, and he wasn't gonna stop her.
He stood watching her, walking away from the house and from him as well.
She did leave.
In just his t-shirt
And she was gone..
And didn't bother looking back,
She left and he didn't stop her..
“She just left, you should do same.Please. I need some time alone.”
He ran back to his room, shutting the door so hard, that Linda thought the house would fall.
“What’s wrong with you Dixon?” She whispered taking her leave.
