Save her

“Hey babe..” He Pushed the hair off her face and kissed her cheeks. She turned, sleepily to face him. His fingers lingers on her face, drawing lines on it.
“When did you get back?”
“Few minutes ago.”

“Are you okay?” She sat up, rubbing her weary eyes. He sat on the bed. Taking her hands in his.
“I wasn’t a while ago, but when I got to see you, I couldn’t be more than happy. Don’t ever leave me. I don’t think I would survive not having you beside me each day.”
“I’m here. With you.”
“Let’s go somewhere tonight, somewhere far from home. I don’t wanna think about anything. I just wanna be with you.”
“What about your mom, who’s gonna take care of her. She need you more than ever now. Right now she needs her sons besides her.”
“I can’t stay, it was suffocating. I need air. She would be fine.”
“Dixon.”
“You don’t wanna be with me, is that it?”
“Not that.”
“Fine I’ll go to her then, if that’s what you want.”
“Dixon wait, we could...”
“It’s fine. I’ll leave now. See you later.”

“Dixon.” her voice was faint as she calls him but he was already out of the room. Slamming the door behind her.
Was he mad? Because she refused.
She wrapped her hands around her shoulders. She really want to go with him but she can’t, going out with him won’t do anything but harm to him.
That she has to avoid.
“Can I come in.”
“Yes, Green.” He came in with a green tea. Giving it to her.
“You went up last night. Couldn’t find you. Where to? “
“Had to deal with someone. It’s fine, don’t give me that look, I didn’t kill him.”
Green exhaled.

“You got me worried. Drink up. It would help.”
“Did Dixon leaves?”
“Yes. He was mad, he didn’t even look at me. While it’s understandable. He lost someone.”
She sips from it.
“How long now, I think I’ve lost count.”
“Four days before the full eclipse. It’s in between the the fifth and sixth days..”
“What happening in those days?”
“Dixon?” They unison.
They thought he left.

“We’re planning a surprise for you, you kinda ruined it peeping on us.”
“I wasn’t peeping on you guys. What’s the surprise about.”
“It’s a surprise we shouldn’t tell you a about it, you will ruin it completely.” Maeve countered. Green was very quick to come up with the lie, seems he had been preparing the lie just in case he was caught.
Dixon came in.
“I should leave.”
“You should go to your house.”
“Yeah, I’m going, but there won’t be anyone to give her the green tea in the morning. Or check her health condition, and a lot of other stuffs that I do.”
“Leave. I’ll do all that.”
“Fine.” He surrenders, throwing his hands in the air. Leaving the room.
“Wait, take this with you.”

He took the empty cup from Maeve’s hands and gave it to him. Then he gestured towards the door.
“Thought you were mad.”
“I was. I’m sorry, I was just being stupid.”
She smiled and hugged him. A short hug though.
“I remembered I had good news for you.”
“Good news? What’s it.”
She asked. Smiling brightly at him.
“I found your mother. She’s alive. Or she found me. While she was in the same hospital that my father was in.”
“My mother?”

“Yes. Don’t cry.” He could see her face changing.
“You’re gonna stain me with blood and I don’t want that. So don’t, save it.” He warned playful. She laughed and sniffed. He hugged her now. Patting her hair.
“You deserve to be happy. You’ve been through a lot already.”
“Where is she? I want to see her.”
“Now?”
She gave him a nod.
“You should bath.”
“I already did.”
“When was that.”
“Early in the morning when I got home.” She stood from the bed, wearing her bubble hat.
“Let’s go.” She was all giddy.
“Did you have a dream about her again.”
“Yes, she was playing with me, in the yard. She was beautiful. Long hairs and a beautiful face. She wore a long white dress. Dad was eating the sandwiches she made.” She smiled while she told him of her memories.
“It was the night he was killed and she got into an accident. I saw the car flipped her over.”
“It’s okay, it’s all in the past now. What matters is that you’ll be seeing her again. Your mother. And she missed you just as much. She’s dying to see you too.”
She sniffed.

“I’m not gonna cry.”
“Yes, don’t. And not in front of her as well.”
“What is she knows.”
“Knows What ?”

“About me, that I’m..”
“You’re human. And you’re going there looking and acting like one.”
He held her shoulders. Staring at her eyes.
“You’re gonna be one, I’ll make sure of that.”
“I love you Dixon.”
“Love you too babe.”

He kissed her lips. Giving it a little bit while she moan in his mouth. Spending heat down to his lower region.
He pulled away.
“We need to go now, so we don’t get late.”
She nodded. Taking the dress Dixon picked out for her. She blew him a kiss, entering the bathroom.
“You’re Maeve, my daughter. You’re my daughter..” she place a hand over her mouth, muffling her cries as she stare at the mark on her shoulders.
“it’s you.” Instantly pulling her into a hug.

Detective Sean gave Dixon a signal for them to leave the room.
They left. Leaving mother and child alone.
“Sorry for you lost Dixon.”
“it’s okay. We’re getting over it. Not like he was a good man anyway.”
“But he’s still your father, good or not.”

“Yeah , I know. I got his blood flowing through my veins.”
He looked through the window. Observing her.
“You’re taking good care of her. But that won’t change the fact about her. You can’t make her human.”
“You should help me detective, find a way to help be human, there has to be a way, I’m sure about that, that’s the only way you and I can help her and stop her from killing. Just look at them. See how happy they’re. And what happened if they separate again. After seeing each other again after fifteen years.”
“What do you plan to do?”

“Make her human again.”
“How do you plan to do that?”
“I don’t know yet, that’s why I need your help. I know you can help me. Please.”
He exhale.
“It’s isn’t as easy as you think.”
“I know. Just please. This is the last request I’m gonna ask of you. We need to save her life.”
