A cure?

He held her closer and began walking home.
When he stare down at her again she was fast asleep.
“I want you to tell me what’s wrong?”
“What do you mean?”

“She’s been so weak, and gloomy. And always sleepy, isn’t as she was before. What’s wrong. I know something is wrong, don’t tell me it isn’t. Isn’t the blood I gave her enough?”
“It isn’t that.” Green replied with his hand on his head.
“Then what. What ain’t you telling me.”

“Maybe she’s just worried about we not being able to find a cure for her.”
“Is that why she’s weak and gloomy, always in thought, her claws came out today, almost hurt me. Though her eyes still held the normal blue. But her body changed..”
“I don’t know about..”

“Don’t tell me that, you and I know, you’re the only person who got to tell us what to expect and get prepared for. You know more about her than I do. You’ve studied her, you people made her who she is!” He yelled standing up the couch.
“That’s way I did what I could, to let her go.”

“You could have done more. You saw what they did to her, you didn’t help her when you could, you let them have their way with her. You didn’t say a word. Instead you worked with that monster Lucas and made her a demon. You did!”
He shouted.

“If you really did helped, the very first time you saw there you would have helped her out of there. Five years you were there with her. In that same house. Feeding her injection, killing her soul. If anything happens to her. I swear Green... I wouldn’t spare you.”
He darted out of the room. Into the bathroom upstairs and shut the door. Facing the wall, he began punching it. Hard. Until he bleeds.
The only way he could get the thought off his head.

Whatever was happening to her. He couldn’t help, he couldn’t do anything.
Aargh!
He continued punching the wall. He turned on the shower, standing under it. And stare at his reflection. He groaned and continued punching it.
Why was he kept in the dark. Why?
Why, wasn’t she human?
The first time he finally met someone, who he truly likes. And this has to happen, she wasn’t human, they couldn’t help be human.
Even when he was dying to save her.

Help her, and always see that smile on her face.
For days now, he hadn’t seen her smile. He hadn’t seen her smile so brightly at him.
That was what he wants.
He wanted her to be human and always be by his side, and never leave him.
“What was going on, I heard Dixon voice.”

Maeve said climbing down the stairs and holding a bottle of soda. Green was sniffing when she met up with him. He quickly wiped his eyes with the back of his hands.
She dropped the half drink soda. On the table in front of Green.
“I thought you were asleep.” His voice was hoarse.
“What’s wrong, were you crying?”

“I’m sorry, I just couldn’t helped it. My greatest sin, was that, I couldn’t do what I should have done. To help that girl. I was scared of Lucas.”
“You shouldn’t blame yourself for what happened. It’s all in the past, don’t let it reflect on your future, which is now. You saved me, that’s all that matters and thanks to you, I’ve got to experience what life as a human feels like.”
She hugged him.

She didn’t thought she would ever see him this way.
“You should tell him. It just two more weeks. Let him know. The reason you’re always so weak and gloomy. Tell him.”
“I would tell him. But not now.”
They disengaged.

“I don’t want to see you like this Green.”
“I’ll be fine, you should go to him. He needs you.”
She nods and stood up from the chair. Green took the soda from the table and watched her running upstairs. He sipped from the soda.
He wasn’t able to do anything, but now, he was gonna do his best. There has to be something. A way for her to be human and that he’s gonna find before the full eclipse, what was the antidote for her.

He chugged down everything and stood up, taking up his hat. And place them on his head. This was his mission. First find a way and make that way possible even if it seems impossible.
He opened the door and walked out. Quietly shutting it behind him.

Maeve stand in front of the door of the bathroom and held the door knob. Then opens. She was him. Drenched in the T-shirt and short he wore. She watched the shower runs down his body.
Then her eyes spot the blood dripping from his hands. She flinched and run to meet him. Entering the shower she grip his hands.
Dixon lift his head up and stare at her. He smiled softly.
“You’re awake?”

“Yes..” her voice quavers.
“What’s wrong?”
“Why did you hurt yourself.” She was on the edge of breaking down.
He cupped her cheeks. With a faint smile. And leaned closer to kiss her. She sniffed and wrapped her hands on his body.
Her body was already drenched by the shower. Her hair was wet and stuck to her face, he pushed them off her face and and embraced her lips in his.
He kissed her deeply, like he had never done before. Her hands went into his hair. And began running her hands through them.
He pulled her off her feet. Her legs wrapped around his waist. Placing her back against the wall.
He brought his head down to her neck and kissed her.

She shivers under his touch. This feeling she was never getting enough of it. Her stomach knots, and tighten.
She kissed him back. Just the way he did to
her. She moaned in the kiss.

Hw dropped her down on her feet, though he didn’t want to stop kissing her.
“Don’t ever leave me, Maeve. Make sure you don’t.”
He whispered.
Which only got her emotional. She smiled and touched his cheeks. Affectionately.
Tiptoeing, she kissed him. As an reply to what he said.
