Love

“Remember the first time we met, that was in the kitchen. You were standing there. Backing me. You remember do you?” Instead, her finger tightens around his neck, she pinned him to the wall. Staring at his eyes.
Seeing that wasn’t working, he had to sing the song she loved so much. The song he wrote for her.
“I don’t care what people who say, I don’t mind what they would think about you, you had those perfect eyes that suit you so well. Because you’re so beautiful...” He had mustered all the strength he had to sing those parts. Surprisingly, her hand let his neck. He fell to the ground, gasping for breath.
She heard her head running to a corner. There she hid.
Groaning in pains.

Seeing this was a perfect time. He stood up and ran to her, he didn’t stay too close but close enough for her to hear what he had to say.
“Remembered when I said I love you, I meant it. I love you so much, that I don’t mind being with you. I don’t care if you’re white hairs or black eyes or prodding veins. I want you. Just you. And you told me you love. We had a lot of memories together.”
“Remember when you said you were gonna kill me. I couldn’t sleep that night.” He chuckled, he sat down now, she wasn’t groaning anymore but listen to him.
“And then when you wanted to make breakfast for me, you cooked trash mixing the ketchup and rice. Still don’t know how you did that.” He laughed.
“And you couldn’t dress up properly, I had to teach you how to dress. You wore a crazy outfit a lot of times. I was so embarrassed.” She leaned her head on the wall she sat.
“And for one reason, I couldn’t do anything other than help you. And wanted nothing else than eating meat. I had to teach you how to eat it with other food as well.”
“Don’t give up on us babe.” He sniffed. Didn’t know he was crying.
“I just want you to know that there’s someone who loves you so much than himself and I want you to know that. I love you and I’ll always do. Always. They say life isn’t fair, but love isn’t fair either.”
He wipes his tears away.
She had to stop groaning for some time now and she was just there listening to his voice.
“When I met you,
You’re the most annoying person ever.
Never knew we could turn out this way.
Love could be this bittersweet.”
“You’re so beautiful...” he heard her whisper, he thought he hadn’t maybe he was imagining stuff probably because he had the song in his heart.
The voice came again to clear his certainty.
“You’re so beautiful..”
he turned to look at her. Her head was down, and she was breathing fast.
“Maeve..” he scoots over to her side.
Then she began groaning again.
“What’s wrong.”

Her body was shuddering so much. He didn’t know what to do. He stood there watching her crying. Making the decision, that whatever happens should happen.
He pulled her into a tight hug. So tight. So she doesn’t shudder too much. But it didn’t stop her from groaning. Her body was burning at the same thing tearing apart, this was a war inside of her. The pains were unbearable.
“ I don’t care what people who say, I don’t mind what they would think about you, you had those perfect eyes that suit you so well. Because you’re so beautiful.. you’re just the perfect girl for me, you’ll be always on my mind. And I think of you every day,
My love.”
He kept singing it over and over again.
“..and you’re so beautiful..”

Then he noticed she was calmed now, but he don’t pull away from the hug, if he had wanted to, she won’t have let him so had hands were still glued to him, hugging him so tightly as well.
He hadn’t expected her to hug him back but she did.
Only she understand how she felt, slowly and like her life was leaving her, she pulled away from Dixon.
“What’s wrong.”
She couldn’t say, her entire system was changing and she was fighting within herself to stay conscious.
She tried shoving Dixon aside so she could puke something that was down on her throat but he won’t move, so she spill everything out on his feet. The darkish, substance and liquid, there was thick black blood as well, coming out of her mouth. She was puking it all out.
“Ewww.” His feet, he removes his feet from there but it was already covered with what she had thrown off. He ran off to somewhere within the basement where he could get water to wash his feet.
Returning to meet her while holding a bowl containing water.
He halted When he was close to her. The girl he was seeing, she was tanned skin, blue eyes, and long red-brown hairs.
She was lying on the ground. Close to where she had puked on.
He ran to her immediately, lifting her off the ground and taking her in his arms.
“Maeve.”
“Dixon.” She whispered so weakly.
He hugs her. She cried softly in his arms.
“I’m thirsty.” He pulled away from her and gave her the water so she could drink from it.
She gulped it down, returning the bowl to him.
“Is this truly you.”
She smiled faintly and snuggles up in his arms. His hands wrapped around her.
He sniffed. And kissed her forehead.
“I love you, Dixon.”
“I love you more than you do. So much then you can imagine.”
He kissed her forehead again. Down to her neck. She looked at him and saw tears in his eyes, she wipe them off with her fingers and kissed his lips.
“You did it.” He said.
“You’re human again, you did it.”
“Our Love did. We fought together.”
“Take me home...”
