Mr. McGuire!
''Your tea, Ms. Usylon.'' Macy was prompt with her duties the following morning and handed Margaret her tea at the dining.
''Margaret, did you choose a nice dress yet? Tomorrow is the big day.'' Larry interrupted Margaret just when she was about to drink her tea, her poisoned tea.
''Yes. I got a nice one. I was asked not to spill the beans about it.'' Margaret had developed a basic relationship with each of the princes, although she was not intimate with any of them just yet.
After she finished speaking, Margaret put the tea cup over her mouth again, but she was interrupted yet again.
''You don't look excited to get married to us. We are every lady's dream in the entire kingdom.'' Harry said with his usual distant tone, and Margaret had to be interrupted from drinking her tea yet again.
Macy, AKA Sent, tolled her eyes impatiently as she anticipated Margaret drinking the tea.
At this time, Margaret put the entire tea cup down and giggled to answer Harry.
''Oh, since you lot are ladies men, why don't you pick one out of the lot and get married to her?'' Margaret teased Harry back.
''The union says it must be you. Margaret, we are grown men, yet we remained virgins all our lives, waiting for you to show up. I think it is disturbing for you to say that we should go and get married to just any woman when we have found you.'' Barry said, sounding a little bit upset.
''Are you angry?'' Larry asked Barry, and before long, the breakfast table was filled with laughter and discussion between the three princes and Magaret, with Margaret suddenly putting down her tea cup as she became engrossed in the discussion.
By the time Margaret remembered her tea again, it had gone cold.
''Urgh! My tea has gone cold. I don't really fancy it anymore.'' Margaret was about to pour the tea away when McGuire entered the living room and grabbed the tea cup from her, gulping the entire content into his mouth in no time.
''McGuire, where have you been? We hardly see you around these days.'' Harry's quiet yet dominant voice could be heard asking their longtime guardian of his whereabout.
''Busy. The union is a big deal, Harry. It's been promised for the past one thousand years, and I am so glad that in my lifetime, I am alive to witness it. I have to put things in place. Besides, it is a surprise for the people of Magus because they are not sure if the lady they saw entering the Vandersar palace is an Usylon or not. Everyone wants to know what is going on, so I have to give them something to remember.'' McGuire was obviously delighted while he spoke.
''Well, I get it. But you need to take some rest though. The union will still take place in your absence. There is no need for you to work yourself to the limit.'' Harry got up as he advised his guardian.
''Yes my ever thoughtful Prince Harry. I will take some rest right away. As a matter of fact, I suddenly feel dizzy.'' McGuire rubbed his eyes as he spoke, ready to go to bed. He was out all night and had just returned, so nobody questioned the fact that he was feeling sleepy in the morning when everyone had just woken up.
If only they knew that the tea McGuire had drank, which originally belonged to Margaret, had been poisoned.
Macy AKA Sent held back herself from losing it in front of the Vandersar family, and as soon as she left the livingroom, she turned dark with anger and worry.
''No...no...no...'' she was pacing alone when Roger came to meet her.
''Mr. McGuire drank it instead.'' Roger sounded as if he would cry the next moment.
''Yes, yes. I know.'' Sent replied in anguish.
''Are you sure that he would wake up? I hope Mr. McGuire is not dead. I really like him...'' Roger cried.
''Shut up! How many times would I tell you that the poison is not to kill but to make one sleep for long? He will wake up days after.'' Sent was so upset considering the fact that she had failed.
''I have never missed before. Why is this different? What is it about this Vandersar and Usynol family anyway? They irk me.'' Sent almost went crazy but Roger was there to make sure that she did not lose herself and expose what they had done.
''Take it easy, or else they will suspect us. Especially Larry. I see the way he looks at you. That young man acts as if he knows exactly what we are up to. Just be calm, at least, like you said, the man is not dead.'' Roger tried to be reasonable, even though he was visibly shaken.
The day continued as usual with McGuire still asleep to the extent that everyone in the palace even forgot about him until someone came looking for him.
Collin Vandersar was a distant relative of the Vandersar family, and had travlled from so many kingdoms away just to witness this day that had been promised by the ancestors.
Collin Vandersar had also run away when the then King Of Persia was destroying anyone that could be a heir of the eight kingdoms and could challenge him, and for the first time in decades, he was returning to Magus, ad the Vandersar palace to be precise.
Collin Vandersar arrived and introduced himself to the servant at the gate, stating that McGuire was expecting him. That was where the trouble started.
''Mr. McGuire.'' Roger was the person that the servant at the gate had informed of the presence of a guest for McGuire, and as the butler, it was his duty to call McGuire's attention.
''Mr. McGuire.'' Roger pretended as if he did not know that McGuire had entered into another world because of the poison.
''Why is he not waking up? Excuse me, my Prince, but Mr. McGuire is not responding to me,'' Roger reported.
