Go Away
''Sent, when she saw that there was no use for me as I could not convince anyone about Margaret, abandoned me at first, and then she threatened never to allow me to return to Magus.'' Constance was narrating her ordeal at Persia to Lucas.
Lucas' eyes widened as Constance explained.
''After that, she took back her words and said that she would allow me to leave after calling you to come and pick me. I thought it was all over until the Prince, Jeshua of one of the seven kingdoms, showed up at my room and before I knew what was happening, I had lost my mind and started to feel very horny. I think they drugged me. Prince Jeshua and Sent. Both of them drugged me.'' Constance burst into tears and hugged Lucas as she sobbed into his neck.
Lucas was livid.
''I thought I was doing Sent a favour by taking you to her so that you can both plot against a common enemy which is the Usylon girl, I didn't just know that I should never have done so. I wonder when Sent would change.'' Lucas' soft voice helped to ease the anger and sadness that Constance currently felt.
''Wait.'' Constance raised her head to look at Lucas.
''How come you are so close to Sent? How long have you known each other for?'' Constance dabbed her wet eyes as she spoke.
Lucas casually waved it aside.
''It's nothing. We were just friends while growing up. Of course, she has not always been Prince Bane's woman, she had a life before that. That's when I met her.'' Lucas' explanation was correct, but he was leaving out the most vital information, which was that Sent was his actual girlfriend, and that she had an agenda in the Persian Palace.
''Wow...'' Constance could not phantom any suspiscion and took in all of Lucas' explanation.
''I wonder what it would be like to have access to such a powerful woman and even have some sort of power over her.'' Constance peeped at Lucas at the mention of him having power over Sent.
Lucas ignored her and busied himself with something else.
''So, is that what you people are? Just friends? Life long friends?'' Constance asked.
''Yes.'' Lucas nodded.
''Just that and nothing more or less.'' Lucas said, winking at Constance.
Well, even if Lucas was telling lies, technically, he was telling the truth because with what Sent had done to Constance, he was just moments away from breaking up with her.
Meanwhile, at Persia, things had taken a heavier turn as the people of Persia, driven by hunger, started to attack Sent.
''We don't even know you as a Persian. I heard you are a foreigner trying to take Persia from the Prince.'' One of the Persians yelled back at Sent after she tried to subdue the crowd for daring to start a revolution againts Prince Bane and Persia.
''What on earth?'' Sent tried to dominate the conversation but there was little she could say against a crowd of hungry Persians.
''Yes. Who are you, really? Eevrything you have done has destroyed this kingdom and it only gets worse. What did you do to our Prince? Did you cast a spell on him?'' Angry Persians were going on and on as they rained their anger on Sent.
Xavier happened to arrive just in time before the issue became worse, and he showed Sent away from the entrance.
''I thought Bane asked you never to handle official matters anymore. Well, now you can see for yourself, you might have gotten mobbed and killed. You better go to the back of affairs and stay there, where you belong.'' Xavier had never used such a harsh tone on Sent before. Infact, Sent was confused and upset.
Sent became even more upset when she turned to leave the area, and saw that Prince Bane had come out and he had heard everything that Xavier said to her. Usually, Prince Bane would never allow anyone to disrespect Sent, but now?
What was going on? Had it gotten so bad that Prince Bane was now also against her?
''Bane, did you not witness your uncle talk to me like a common person?'' Sent was livid as she looked into the eyes of Prince Bane, hoping that her magic would work as usual, and that Prince Bane will give in to what she wanted, but for some reason that Sent could not understand, it was not working anymore.
''Sent, go inside the palace. I kmow I told you before that you have been banned from being official as far as Persia is concerned.'' Prince Bane was even too scared to look into the eyes of Sent, but he had to say his mind anyway.
''What?'' Sent glared at Bane and then her eyes met with Xavier who could not hide the satisfaction of seeing his nephew finally doing the right thing.
''Just go inside the Palaca and stop causing tantrums. Look, you have turned the people against you already, Sent.'' Prince Bane was upset as he spoke to Sent through gritted teeth, hoping to hide the fact that he was very angry at her.
''Really?'' Sent could not believe it.
Prince Bane nodded, and then signalled for Sent to go inside, and just like a kid who had been denied chocolate, Sent stomped into the palace, mad at the world for what had just happened.
Now, it was time for Prince Bane to face the people of Persia directly.
Turning his back to Sent and facing the Persians. Prince Bane put on his usual casual and charming smile, hoping to charm his subjects as he always did, but that was not the time as the hunger in the kingdom was far beyond any type of charm that Prince Bane could afford to unleash.
''Prince of Princes, please sign the treaty or look for a way to feed us, we pray you.'' The leader of the revolution started to speak up at once.
