Three Heads Against One
''Bane!'' Xavier hurried into his nephew's throne room with urgency written all over him.
''Bane!'' Xavier yelled repeatedly.
Prince Bane could hear the heavy footsteps of his uncle approaching the throne room, and he knew that there was trouble around the corner.
Prince Bane raised his eyes from the letter he was writing, as he anticipated his uncle's arrival at the entrance.
''What are you doing?'' Since Prince Harry sent Bane's entourage back, claiming that Prince Bane could not touch Margaret, and that the Magus Empire was no longer under Persia, Prince Bane had been sending letters to the rest of the seven kingdoms that still pledged allegiance to him, claiming that Magus had disobeyed constituted authority, and must be punished.
Prince Bane had become paranoid that the other seven kingdoms would follow Magus' footsteps and stand up against him, so he started to threaten them. In fact, Prince Bane asked them to get ready to go to war with him against Magus when the time was right.
Prince Bane did not answer his uncle, Xavier, instead, he continued to stare at the advanced aged man, waiting for him to say the reason he had barged into his privacy with such urgency.
''Very well, you won't say anything, right? You have been quiet since we returned from Magus with Harry's message.'' Xavier had a lot to tell Prince Bane, but the Prince still did not say anything as he had started to feel the pressure from Magus.
''Prince Harry just entered Persia, and is heading towards you.'' Xavier decided to break the news on Prince Bane's head like an iceberg.
As soon as Xavier said that, he knew that he definitely had all of Prince Bane's attention.
''I beg your pardon?'' Prince Bane actually got up from his seat in shock.
''Oh, now you are awake. Prince Harry is coming here to tell you to your face that it is time to back off.'' Xavier took a seat in front of his nephew and looked at him, waiting for a response.
Prince Bane was so shocked, he could not even think. All he heard in his head and mind was humming because he thought that everything was happening so fast.
Prince Harry did not even give him time to respond to the message that he sent to him through his uncle and the Persian police, the young Prince was already bringing the fight to him.
''He is coming to sign the treaty.'' Prince Bane eventually said and took a seat, hopelessly staring into thin air as he ransacked his brain on what to do.
Xavier adjusted on his seat and chuckled sarcastically.
''I told you when we returned from Magus that the look I saw on the Prince's face was one of determination. They have finally gotten what they have been waiting for all their life, and now their blood is boiling hot to get back everything that they have missed.''
''If for one thing, that union should not have held at all. You should have acted desperately as I advised you, now I think that the battle line is about to be drawn.'' Xavier said to his nephew emphatically, his eyes flared up like a vulture on it's prey.
Prince Bane was so confused, different thoughts started to run thorugh his mind.
''Okay. What about Sent? Did you see here when you got there?'' Prince Bane was very worried about his girlfriend because she had never failed him before, so what was up this time? Or had she abandoned him?
''I didn't see SDent when I was there. I didn't even see the so-called Usylon girl.'' Xavier was as worried as his nephew, and he didn't fail to show it.
''Has Sent forgotten the reason I sent her there? Has she left me?'' Prince Bane was whining like a child, but his uncle was quick to call him back to order.
''Let Sent be. You never can tell what is keeping her from achieving her goal. Also, if it is true that she has abandoned you, then I think it is for the best. I have always warned you about allowing her to control every major decision that you make. Do you know the damage that she can do to you if she is pushed to do so? I hope you know that technically, she has been the person running this Kingdom? It's hightime to let go of her, that is, if she has let go of you anyway.''
Prince Bane was shaking his head while his uncle told him words that scarred him.
''Sent will never abandon me. Not for any reason in this world and the next.'' Prince Bane was so upset, he was close to tears. This was the first time since he became the crowned Prince Of Persia, that everything was falling apart.
Prince Bane was used to winning every duel against any other Kingdom, but the Magus Kingdom was proving tough at this moment.
''Like I said, she might just be having it difficult there, she might not have left you. All I am trying to do is to get you ready for what might be. She might have abandoned you, or she might have not, but it's good to weigh the two options.'' Xavier got up soon after he finished speaking to Prince Bane.
''Oh, before I forget, what are you going to do about the Prince?'' Xavier suddenly remembered the reason he came to see his nephew in the first place.
''Uncle Xavier, I don't know yet, but I know that I have to listen to him first. Of course, I am not going to let Magus Kingdom go, but I will take it slowly until I eventually cave in on them.'' Prince Bane sounded like he had a plan.
Xavier shrugged.
''Remember while you are taking it easy and slowly, that there are three Princes in Magus, and all of them are boiling hot against you.'' Xavier respectfully took a bow in front of his nephew and left quietly.
