Prince Harry's Arrival

''I'm Prince Harry Vandersar of Magus. I'm here to see Prince Bane.'' Prince Harry had arrived at the Persian Palace, and went ahead to introduce himself, even though he was sure that the Palace had already been notified of his arrival in the city as soon as he stepped in.

The guard at the palace eyed Prince Harry with contempt.

''Since when did anyone from the Kingdom of Magus have the temerity to visit the Prince?'' The guard hated the audacity that oozed out of Prince Harry.

''Since the union.'' Prince Harry replied with clarity and without thinking twice.

The guard was taken aback. So the union had not yet been regarded as null? He was shocked to realise that because the rumor in the palace was that Prince Bane and his usual suspect Sent, had put the union on hold and nothing official could be conducted as a result of that union.

The fact that Prince Harry was in the Persian Palace seemingly on official duty, made the guard wonder what was going on.

''Wait here.'' The guard had to go in and inform Xavier, as he was the only person who had direct access to Prince Bane since Roger was not around.

The guard informed Xavier.

''It's you again.'' Prince Harry saw Xavier walking towards him and got up. He should have known who would be the first to welcome him into the Persian Palace, the very man that stood in front of the Persian convoy that came to greet him.

Xavier was not welcoming in his approach to Prince Harry at all, and the first Prince of the Vandersar Palace did not give a care in the world about how he was welcomed as all he came for was business.

''What do you want here?'' Xavier pretended not to know the reason behind Prince Harry's visit.

''To see Bane.'' Prince Harry started to display arrogance and rebellion as he addressed the Persian Prince by his first name.

Xavier's eyes flashed with shock at first, and then anger replaced his looks.

''You came to see the Prince of the eight kingdoms I suppose?'' Xavier rubbed the fact that Magus was still under the Persian Empire, in the face of Prince Harry.

''Well, I came to see Bane.'' Prince Harry repeated, deliberately continuing to provoke Xavier, while cunningly dodging the fact that Xavier had just included Magus under the leadership of Persia even though the union had taken place.

''Whoever wants to see the Prince of the eight kingdoms must first have an appointment with him, and all appointments go through me so I don't think you shpuld be here because I don't remember getting any memo of an appointment between you and Prince Bane.'' Xavier knew that he was still going to allow Prince Harry to see Prince Bane, but he had to make use of his office first.

In fact, Xavier was desperate for Prince Harry and Prince Bane to meet, so that he would know how to advise Prince Bane on how to handle Magus, moving forward.

Prince Harry knew the ploy that Xavier was bringing forward, especially after he was asked to leave the Vandersar palace or face being thrown out. Prince Harry knew that Xavier was just trying to get back at him, to humiliate him.

Prince Harry chuckled with sarcasm.

''I doubt that the Prince Of Persia would be happy to hear that you obstructed a meeting between him and the representative of the most important of the eight kingdoms that he is desperately and wrongly holding on to.'' Prince Harry made sure not to filter his words as he spoke rudely to Xavier, disregarding the Prince Of Persia at any opportunity he got.

''I beg your pardon?'' Xavier was so upset this time, he started to flare up.

''You had better watch your tongue, young man. Don't you want to return to your Kingdom ever again? If you don't watch what you say here, I will throw you in prison and you won't even get to see the Prince. In fact, he will never even know that you are in this palace.'' Xavier was boiling at a hundred degrees at this point.

Prince Harry made no response, and he made no expression at Xavier.

''Wait here.'' Xavier knew that there was nothing he could do but go to inform Prince Bane of Harry's visit.

''I thought as much.'' Prince Harry continued to be unbearable to Xavier, but Xavier chose to ignore him this time around, and walked away to inform Prince Bane of the visitor.

''Let him in.'' Prince Bane could not wait. Apart from the fact that Prince Bane desperately wanted to keep Magus under his rule, he had never met any of the three Princes before, and he had heard a lot about them.

In fact, Prince Bane was a fan of the Princes of Magus.

It pained Xavier to his marrow when he had to return to Prince Harry to invite him into Prince Bane's throneroom. He had wished that his somewhat weak nephew will have the balls to tell Prince Harry to wait for him for a long time, instead, Prince Bane was desperate to see Prince Harry.

''Follow me.'' Xavier returned to Prince Harry and invited him inside the palace properly.

Prince Harry smiled sheepishly.

''I told you that you will be making a big mistake not to let me see Bane.'' Prince Harry was becoming so unbearable, Xavier could not wait to deliver him to Prince Bane and get out of the way before he did something drastic.

Xavier had it in mind that if Prince Harry got into trouble, he would be the person to personally make sure that the first Prince of the Vandersar palace suffered until he begged for the barest minimum.

Xavier showed Prince Harry to Prince Bane's throneroom and turned around to leave.

''I hope you don't act stupid in there. That in there is the Prince of the eight kingdoms. If you don't want us to return your head on a stake to Magus, you had better choose your words carefully.''
