Everybody Is Ready

''I am sure that you are already aware of the latest development.'' Larry Vandersar had arrived at one of the seven kingdoms and had started to speak with the leader in accordance with the task he had been asked to carry out alongside Barry.

''Yes, the Usylon girl arrived and the much talked about union eventually took place. Who is not aware of the news?'' The leader of Manaseh was delighted to see Larry.

''It is an honor to have the honorable Prince in Magus visit my humble kingdom. There is nothing I have not heard about you and your brothers.'' Manaseh sang praises to the satisfaction of Larry Vandersar.

The truth was that everyone usually struggled to gain favor in the eyes of the Princes in Magus, and so Larry was not surprised at the man's gesture.

''Very well then. Since you are so excited about the news, it should not be difficult for you to accept to pledge your loyalty to Magus, should it?'' Larry Vandersar went staright to the point, taking the man aback.

Manaseh was beyond shocked to hear the words that came out of Larry's mouth.

''I beg your respectable pardon sir?'' Manaseh was polite as he hinted on knowing what Larry Vandersar was talking about.

''Yes. What I mean is that, since Magus is about to sign a treaty with Persia to be a sovereign state, your kingdom will tilt towards Magus in the sense that if war arises especially between Magus and Persia, you will fight for Magus.'' Larry explained.

Manaseh was quiet as he tried to make sense of what Larry said.

''But, my Prince, my kingdom is not even poised for war. If Persia has not agreed to sign the treaty, maybe it is for a reason that we the eight kingdoms cannot see. If there has to be war before the treaty is signed, then maybe there should be no treaty at least just yet.'' Manaseh was cautious as he said the above words to Larry Vandersar.

Larry looked hard into the eyes of Manaseh. If not that his brothers had warned him that there mist be no angst and violence while he was out spreading the news, he would have punched Manaseh in the face or done something that will border on violence, extreme violence.

''Don't worry, maybe I am just taking it too far. The treaty will be signed peacefully anyway, it is already in the process. I just came to remind you that as soon as the treaty has been signed and everything is complete, Magus will be as powerfula nd relevant as Persia, and the seven kigdoms will have to pledge their loyalty to either Persia or Magus. I came to solicit for your cooperation with Magus. Do you understand?'' Larry spoke with authority even though he was gentle as well.

''Oh, in that case I will cooperate with Magus. Why not? Who will not be happy to be free from the chains of the Persian empire?'' Manaseh asked with enthusiasm.

Larry was happy with what he was hearing, and from the look of things, Manaseh would not think twice in abandoning Perisa. His body language revealed the fact that he was done with Persia, Prince Bane, and the hideous future Queen, Sent.

''This is a new dawn indeed.'' Manaseh was excited.

Larry scoffed.

''It is a new dawn indeed.'' After saying that, Larry smiled at Manaseh and started to leave for the next kingdom.

Even though Larry Vandersar did not outrightly state it, he laughed at the fact that Manaseh considered a new dawn when they will just be transferring from the hands of Persia to Magus.

''Whatever Harry was talking about is just bullocks and severe jargons. All the other seven kingdoms will submit to us just the way they have submitted to Persia for as long as everyone has known. Why does ours have to be different? Is Harry trying to say that we are fighting over their freedom as well?'' Larry complained as he entered the Royal Vehicle that took him around from Magus.

Larry's guards heard what he said, but they dared not make any contribution, as it had nothing to do with them.

Larry covered three kingdoms, while Barry covered four in the span of forty-eight hours, and all the kingdoms swore to side with Magus.

To be honest, it was only natural for the other kingdoms to side with Magus after everything that Persia had done to them.

''Done. We have the seven kingdoms in our pocket.'' When the Princes converged after their first task, Barry announced the success that him and his brother had achieved.

''Oh, very well.'' Harry nodded.

''McGuire, how ready is Margaret? I bet she has started the training, right...?'' Harry was asking McGuire, but McGuire cut him sure.

''Margaret has been ready right from the very first day. In less than twenty four hours into the training, she has mastered so much, I am beginning to suspect that she can face Persia all by herself.'' The men laughed whn McGuire cracked such a joke.

''Well, at least she is ready, and that is a good sign. The fact that the seven kingdoms also have pledged to support us makes me think that we are severely ready to put our feet down and demand for a treaty. We leave tomorrow to Persia.'' Harry announced.

''All five of us?'' Larry asked, his eyes lighting up at the sound of his first official assignment as the Prince in Magus.

''Yes! Duty calls for all of us now.''

''I think we should go with the leaders of the seven kingdoms, so that Prince Bane can know and understand just how serious and ready we are to take on Persia if he does not accept our terms.'' Larry suggested.

Larry had been gunning for whatever opposition Persia might care to come up with.

''Don't you think that involving the seven kingdoms will put them in trouble? Let's keep them a secret for now.''
