The Answer Is No!
''This has become rather broing, Mr. Xavier. I am sure that you will agree to that yourself.'' Prince Harry was indeed very tired when he saw Xavier back in the Vandersar Palace with yet another memo from Prince Bane.
''Well, if you can just listen to the Prince of Princes, then you won't have to see me again, would you.'' Roger happened to step into the living room at that moment and he saw Xavier talking to Prince Harry.
Roger and Xavier exchanged knowing glances to Roger's delight. The man had been living in the Vandersar Palace for so long, he was starting to look like the Princes. Roger breathed a sigh of relief when he saw someone from Persia as it had been a long time since he heard from anyone from there.
He had heard everything that had been happening in Persia; from the party for the Princes, to Sent's escapades, to all sorts of stories that he wished he could just go and be a part of, yet he was stuck in Magus, in the Vandersar Palace, and right under the nose of the Princes, the supposed oppositions.
Pathetic.
''The ball is no longer in my court, Mr. Xavier.'' Prince Harry poured himself a glass of whiskey and deliberately left Xavier out of the enjoyment.
''You see, before the Usylon descendant showed up, which is my wife, we never sttruggled with authority from Persia, did we?'' Prince Harry asked and started to shake his head before Xavier got a chance to reply.
''In that case, everyone can tell that we are not just deliberately being stubborn. It is written and everyone knows, an Usylon girl being found would make me and my brothers become full blown men and we can take our kingdom back from Persia. That's all that is happening. Why is Bane trying to be stubborn? He is not fighting against us, and I hope he knows that for a fact. He is fighting against the ones that were before us. They made the declaration, not me or my brothers.''
Prince Harry hoped he had made himself clear enough to Xavier, but Xavier was not yielding.
''Okay then, young Prince I understand you, and to be honest, I have often told Bane about the fact that he is fighting against higher powers and not directly against you and your brothers as far as this issue is concerned. Nevertheless, stopping the supply of food from Magus to Persia is just a bit to extreme for anyone to be able to handle. What about the rest of the Persian Kingdom? I know, you are trying to get at Bane, you want him to yield, but what you are doing will affect the entire Persian Kingdom...'' Xavier was explaining but again, Prince Harry started to shake his head.
''Tell the kingdom to urge their Prince to sign the treaty and let Magus free. That's all...'' Prince Harry made his statement, and made it loud and clear.
Xavier heaved a heavy sigh.
''I was asked not to return to Persia until I am able to get you to resume sending food supplies to the Kingdom.'' Xavier told Prince Harry.
''Oh, in that case you are welcome to pick a house and pay rent in Magus, right? I think that's what you should do because until I sign the treaty alongside my brothers against the signature of Prince Bane, then know that food will not reach Persia at all.'' Prince Harry made himself clear and looked at Xavier with firm eyes, hoping that the man would not push the issue.
Menwhile, Lucas had returned to Magus with Constance who up till now, had not fully regained consciousness after being drugged by Sent and Prince Jeshua.
Lucas was livid.
''Constance dear, you need to wake up and tell me what happened to you. What on earth did Sent do to you?'' Lucas took Constance straight back to the bath tub and immersed her in cold water again, hoping that she would become conscious as soon as possible.
''You had better not wake up to tell me that you cannot remember what happened to you, Constance. You must tell me what that evil Sent did because I know that she was telling me nothing but lies back in Persia.'' Lucas continued to rant as if Constance could hear him.
Constance was dabbed and put to sleep in Lucas' room while he went to make some concoctions that would enable her to wake up from her state faster.
Three hours later, Constance woke up.
Lucas hurried towards her promptly.
''Take it easy, take it easy dear...'' Lucas helped supposrt Constance' head as she tried to raise it up.
Constance fluttered her eyes, trying to make sense of where she was at that time. The last place she remembered that she was at was in the Persian Palace, a huge room where she was put in by Sent, but now...
The place looked familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time.
''What!'' Constance panicked a little bit when she saw Lucas staring into her eyes candidly.
''Easy, Constance, Easy. It's me, Lucas...'' Lucas pampered Constance, hoping that she would be clear of where she was in a bit.
''Lucas? How? Where are we? Where is Sent? And Prince Jeshua?'' Constance was still hallucinating a bit even though her mind was gradually becoming clear by the second.
''You are in Magus now, Constance. You are safe here with me, in my house. Tell me, what did Sent do to you?'' Lucas asked.
Constnace stared at Lucas for a while without saying anything and after she had become calm and was sure of where she was, she burst into tears and hugged Lucas tightly.
''I don't ever want to see that lady again.'' Constance was crying and sobbing as if she had been through a horrible experience.
''Who? Sent? Why? I thought you guys would get along, that's why I sent you to her in the first place. What did she do to you, Constance. Tell me?''
